Mattias Samuelsson D | BUF
Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Four-game, seven-assist streak
Samuelsson had three assistsin a 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
Samuelsson has a four-game, seven-assist streak on the fly, which is impressive enough for a defender who's never put up more than 14 points in any season. However, Samuelsson also has more points on his run than star teammate Tage Thompson has on his current four-game streak (five points). Who knew Samuelsson would be a must-play fantasy defender?

Thomas Harley D | DAL
Stars' Thomas Harley: One of each in win
Harley scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Blues.
Harley ended a 16-game goal drought at a great time, scoring the decisive goal with 1:07 left in the third period. The 24-year-old defenseman has a pair of multi-point efforts over the last four games, so his offense may be starting to come around. He's up to three goals, 20 points, 63 shots on net, 94 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 41 outings this season, well behind the pace that earned him 50 points in 78 regular-season contests last year.

Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Best performance of career
Dahlin scored three goals and added two assists in a 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
It was Dahlin's first NHL hat trick in a game that was perhaps the best one of his hockey career. It was just the eighth hat trick ever scored by a Sabres defender and the first against the vaunted Maple Leafs. Dahlin has had a difficult season personally, so this moment was special. He's now in a tie for eighth among NHL defenders with 42 points, including 11 goals, in 48 games.

Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Five points in last four games
Sergachev scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 win over the Panthers.
Sergachev has sharpened his game in his last four outings; he has five points (one goal, four assists), five shots and six PIM in that span. He has 37 points (eight goals, 29 points) and sits in a tie with Jakob Chychrun for 12th overall in league scoring from the blue line.

Jordan Oesterle D | NSH
Predators' Jordan Oesterle: Posts trio of points in AHL win
Oesterle scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Milwaukee's 5-3 win over Rockford on Tuesday.
Oesterle hasn't gotten a look with the Predators this season. He's earned five points over the last three games, but Andreas Englund got the call-up over Oesterle after it was determined Nicolas Hague (lower body) was set for a week-to-week absence through the Olympic break. Oesterle is at 21 points with a minus-13 rating over 39 AHL contests this season.

Sean Durzi D | UTA
Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Four points in last three games
Durzi (undisclosed) had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Florida.
He left Monday's game early because of a big hit, but he looked none the worse for wear Tuesday. Durzi has a pair of two-point games (one goal, three assists) in his last three outings. Overall, the defender has four goals, 13 assists, 56 blocks and 56 shots in 32 games this season.

Tom Willander D | VAN
Canucks' Tom Willander: Good to go Tuesday
Willander (illness) will be in the lineup versus the Sharks on Tuesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Willander missed Sunday's game while ill, but that looks to be the extent of his absence. Pierre-Olivier Joseph will be scratched to make room for Willander on the third pairing for Tuesday's contest.

Matt Roy D | WAS
Capitals' Matt Roy: Out of action Tuesday
Roy (lower body) will not play Tuesday versus the Kraken.
Roy and Rasmus Sandin (lower body) are both out of action for Tuesday. The Capitals will have Declan Chisholm and Dylan McIlrath in action instead, while Trevor van Riemsdyk should see more ice time. Roy's next chance to play is Thursday in Detroit.
-
Rasmus Sandin D | WAS
Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Unavailable Tuesday
Sandin (lower body) won't play Tuesday versus the Kraken.
Sandin was injured Saturday versus the Oilers and won't be able to suit up for this game either. The 25-year-old will be replaced by Declan Chisholm in the lineup. Sandin's next chance to play is Thursday versus the Red Wings.

Joel Edmundson D | LA
Kings' Joel Edmundson: Poised to play
Edmundson (upper body) is expected to play against Detroit on Tuesday, according to Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Edmundson logged just 14:51 of ice time in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over St. Louis, but it seems he won't miss additional playing time due to the injury. He has accounted for two goals, 14 assists, 67 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and 59 hits across 50 appearances this season.
