  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Expected back during road trip

Head coach John Hynes said Thursday that he anticipates that Bogosian (undisclosed) will be able to return at some point during the Wild's upcoming three-game road trip, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Bogosian has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Jets, but his return appears to be imminent. Minnesota's upcoming road trip begins Saturday in Buffalo and runs through Tuesday in Montreal, and while it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for all three road matchups, his absence will likely come to an end after approximately two weeks. Over his three appearances leading up to his absence, he recorded two assists, two hits and two PIM while averaging 14:48 of ice time.

  • Jonas Brodin D | MIN

    Wild's Jonas Brodin: Week-to-week

Brodin (lower body) is week-to-week, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports Thursday.

Brodin could miss the Olympics, as he was named to Team Sweden in December. The defenseman has been bothered by this injury since December, when he sat out four games. Brodin has three goals and 15 points with 91 blocked shots across 42 appearances this season. Look for David Spacek to enter the lineup in place of Brodin.

  • Luke Hughes D | NJ

Devils' Luke Hughes: Two-point effort in OT win

Hughes recorded two assists, including one on the power play, in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Seattle.

The 22-year-old blueliner had a hand in two Nico Hischier tallies, including the overtime winner. Hughes has three two-point efforts in the last eight games, and on the season, he's contributed five goals and 26 points in 47 contests, putting him on pace to top 40 points for a third straight year.

  • Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Set to return against Vancouver

Severson (illness) is available for Thursday's game against the Canucks, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Severson missed Tuesday's game against Calgary due to an illness, but he'll be back in action following a minimal absence. Across his last 11 appearances, he's recorded a goal, seven assists, 16 blocked shots, 10 PIM and four hits while averaging 20:55 of ice time.

  • Vince Dunn D | SEA

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Two helpers against New Jersey

Dunn picked up two assists, including one on the power play, in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils.

It's the third multi-point performance in the last five games for Dunn. The 29-year-old blueliner had a quiet start to the season, but over his last 17 appearances, he has delivered two goals and 13 points, with most of that production (one goal and nine assists) coming on the power play. His 15 power-play points on the season are already just one shy of the career high he set in 2023-24.

  • Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Returning to action Thursday

Chychrun (illness) is available for Thursday's game against San Jose, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Chychrun missed the last two games due to an illness, but he's been cleared to return for Thursday's home matchup. Over his eight appearances leading up to his absence, he recorded a goal, three assists, 13 blocked shots, four hits and four PIM while averaging 23:18 of ice time.

  • Blue Jackets' Erik Gudbranson: Coming off IR

Gudbranson (hip) will be activated off injured reserve ahead of Thursday's clash with Vancouver, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Gudbranson looks poised to play for the first time since Oct. 25 versus the Penguins. Even with his activation, the veteran blueliner is far from a lock to play on a nightly basis and could periodically serve as a healthy scratch. In order to clear a roster spot for Gudbranson, Dysin Mayo will likely be shipped back to the minors.

  • Red Wings' Erik Gustafsson: Recalled from AHL

Gustafsson was summoned from AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.

Gustafsson played well in Grand Rapids this season, tallying a pair of goals, 18 assists and a plus-18 rating in 22 AHL contests. The Red Wings are down to 12 healthy forwards, and it's possible that Gustafsson could see some action up front if the team runs into an injury problem ahead of its game versus San Jose on Friday.

  • Kings' Brandt Clarke: Forces overtime

Clarke scored a goal on three shots, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.

Clarke tied the game at 18:33 of the third period, forcing overtime and ultimately salvaging a standings point for the Kings. The 22-year-old defenseman had gone 17 games without a goal since potting a pair Dec. 6 versus the Blackhawks. In that span, he had eight assists and 32 shots on net. For the season, Clarke is up to a career-high six goals with 17 assists, 92 shots on net, 82 blocked shots, 26 PIM, 22 hits and a plus-9 rating over 46 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Tallies in Wednesday's win

Chabot scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

Chabot snapped a five-game slump with his second-period marker, which put the Senators up 6-0 and chased Jonathan Quick from the contest. The goal was Chabot's fifth of the season, three of which have been scored over his last seven outings. He's at 16 points, 50 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 23 hits and an even plus-minus rating across 31 appearances in a top-four role.
