Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: One of each Thursday
Bouchard scored a power-play goal on four shots and added an assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Jets.
Bouchard has earned four points (three on the power play) during his three-game point streak. The 26-year-old defenseman remains highly productive on offense while playing massive minutes for the Oilers. He's up to nine goals, 41 points, 112 shots on net, 61 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 44 appearances this season.

Kevin Korchinski D | CHI
Blackhawks' Kevin Korchinski: Up from minors
Korchinski was called up by Chicago on Friday.
Korchinski has two goals, 19 points and 36 PIM in 32 appearances with AHL Rockford in 2025-26. He hasn't played in the NHL this campaign, but he did record a goal and two points in 16 outings with the Blackhawks during the 2024-25 regular season.

Sean Walker D | CAR
Hurricanes' Sean Walker: Picks up helper Thursday
Walker logged an assist, two shots on goal and four PIM in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
Walker ended an 11-game point drought with the helper. The 31-year-old has mostly served as a steady defensive presence for the Hurricanes this season, adding little in the way of offense. He's up to 12 points, 100 shots on net, 69 blocked shots, 67 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-7 rating through 44 appearances in a top-four role.

Dennis Cholowski D | NJ
Devils' Dennis Cholowski: Hits waiver wire
Cholowski was placed on waivers by the Devils on Friday.
The Devils will send Cholowski to AHL Utica, should he pass through waivers. The veteran blueliner has never established himself in the NHL, despite being selected 20th overall by Detroit in 2016. Cholowski has played 15 games at the NHL level this season, garnering one assist.

Ryan McDonagh D | TB
Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Not traveling with team
McDonagh (undisclosed) will not travel with the team during its upcoming five-game road trip that begins Saturday in Philadelphia, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
McDonagh has already missed the last six games after aggravating the undisclosed injury that cost him 18 games earlier in the season. The defenseman has four goals and eight points across 18 appearances this season.

Caleb Jones D | PIT
Penguins' Caleb Jones: Return date in sight
Jones (lower body) is targeting Jan. 17 against Columbus to be cleared to play, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.
Jones has been on the shelf since Oct. 25 due to his lower-body injury. The blueliner has started skating in a non-contact jersey and participating in practices. Even once given the all-clear, Jones is far from a lock to suit up on a nightly basis and would have to push Jack St. Ivany or Ryan Shea out of the lineup.

Jamie Drysdale D | PHI
Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Hits injured reserve
Drysdale (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Friday, per the NHL media site.
Drysdale was injured Tuesday when he was elbowed by the Ducks' Ross Johnston. Drysdale has three goals and 18 points across 41 appearances this season. Noah Juulsen replaced Drysdale on the blue line Thursday and will remain in the lineup this weekend versus Tampa Bay. Drysdale could return as early as Wednesday in Buffalo.

Mattias Samuelsson D | BUF
Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Two points against Blueshirts
Samuelsson scored a shorthanded goal on his only shot on net and added an even-strength assist, four blocked shots, two hits and a plus-1 rating in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
The 25-year-old blueliner continues to add to his career-best campaign, with his third-period shortie being his first in the NHL. Samuelsson isn't getting any meaningful power-play time, but he hasn't needed it to make an impact, and over the last 10 games he's delivered two goals, 10 points, 22 blocked shots, 19 hits, 16 shots on net and a plus-9 rating.

Luke Hughes D | NJ
Devils' Luke Hughes: Scores power-play goal
Hughes scored a power-play goal, recorded two blocks and had two hits in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh.
Hughes ended the Penguins' shutout bid early in the third period with his power-play goal. With the twine finder, he is up to five goals, 22 points, 96 shots on net and 39 blocks through 44 games this season. While he has plenty of time to catch up to the pace necessary to match his career high of 47 points, the 22-year-old blueliner has taken a step forward in other areas. He is on pace to shatter his career high in shots on goal and blocked shots, making him a well-rounded defenseman as opposed to an offensive spear. He still holds solid value in most standard fantasy formats.

Axel Sandin Pellikka D | DET
Red Wings' Axel Sandin-Pellikka: Fires home winner Thursday
Sandin-Pellikka scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-1 victory over Vancouver.

It was Sandin-Pellikka's first career game-winning goal, and his first two-point effort since Dec. 8. Through his first 45 NHL games, the 17th overall pick in 2023 has five goals and 17 points with 46 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating.
