Gudas has two goals, 13 points, 45 PIM, 160 hits and 88 blocks in 54 outings in 2025-26. He sustained the injury during Thursday's game against Calgary. Drew Helleson might draw into the lineup due to Gudas' absence.

  • Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Remains day-to-day

Kuznetsov (upper body) won't play against Vancouver on Saturday.

Kuznetsov is still day-to-day and will miss his seventh straight game. He has collected four goals, 12 points, 58 shots on net, 89 blocked shots and 75 hits across 52 appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Expected to play

Gostisbehere (lower body) is slated to play against New Jersey on Saturday, per Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News.

Following a nine-game absence, Gostisbehere is poised to occupy a spot on the third pairing and see time on the first power-play unit against the Devils on Saturday. He has compiled 11 goals, 43 points, 98 shots on net and 50 blocked shots across 45 appearances this season.

  • Sharks' John Klingberg: Remains out Saturday

Klingberg (upper body) is expected to remain out of the lineup Saturday in Columbus, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

Klingberg also missed Thursday's game against St. Louis because of the injury. He has 10 goals and 24 points through 54 outings in 2025-26. Nick Leddy will stay in the lineup Saturday due to Klingberg's continued absence.

  • Joel Hanley D | CGY

Flames' Joel Hanley: Done for season

Per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan on Saturday, Hanley (upper body) will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 regular season.

Hanley sustained the injury in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Anaheim. The defenseman will conclude the campaign with seven assists, 90 blocked shots and 42 hits over 68 games. He should be ready for the start of training camp in September.

  • Senators' Lassi Thomson: Good to return Saturday

Thomson (lower body) is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Following a two-game absence, Thomson will skate alongside Carter Yakemchuk on Ottawa's third pairing against the Lightning on Saturday. During his NHL season debut, the 25-year-old Thomson had two shots on goal in 4:25 of ice time against the Rangers on March 23 before getting hurt.

  • Rangers' Drew Fortescue: Picks up helper in NHL debut

Fortescue notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 6-1 win over the Blackhawks.

This was Fortescue's first appearance since he signed his entry-level deal Saturday. The 20-year-old defenseman put up 14 points in 35 games for Boston College prior to turning pro. Fortescue will likely be limited to bottom-four minutes as long as he stays in the lineup for the remainder of this campaign, and he may need some time in the AHL in 2026-27 to round out his development.

  • Rangers' Matthew Robertson: Buries goal in blowout win

Robertson scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 6-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Robertson ended a 19-game goal drought with his second-period tally, which was the game-winner. The 25-year-old defenseman has earned five points and a plus-4 rating over his last 11 contests, though he remains in a bottom-four role for the Rangers. He's now at five goals, 16 points, 74 shots on net, 94 hits, 72 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 63 appearances this season.

  • Sabres' Conor Timmins: Notches assist Friday

Timmins recorded an assist and blocked two shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.

This was Timmins' second game back from a broken leg. The 27-year-old has retaken a third-pairing role for now, but there's no guarantee he'll stay in the lineup over Michael Kesselring or Luke Schenn on a regular basis for the rest of the season. Timmins has seven helpers, 36 shots on net, 74 blocked shots, 28 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-10 rating through 35 appearances on the year.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Pots goal in loss

Dahlin scored a goal on two shots and added four PIM in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Dahlin has three goals and three assists, as well as a plus-3 rating, over his last five games. The defenseman got the Sabres back within two goals late in the third period, but a comeback effort didn't materialize. Dahlin is up to 16 goals, 66 points, 176 shots on net, 75 blocked shots, 70 PIM, 63 hits and a plus-12 rating over 69 appearances in his usual top-pairing role this season.
