Ben Hutton D | LV
Golden Knights' Ben Hutton: Sets career high in goals
Hutton scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Predators.
The goal was Hutton's fourth over 13 games in December, and it's career-best sixth tally of the season. The 32-year-old's 11 points are his most in the last four campaigns. He's gotten steady playing time with 31 appearances so far as Vegas has often had at least one blueliner unavailable. Hutton has added 48 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in a bottom-four role.

Nicklaus Perbix D | NSH
Predators' Nick Perbix: Scores in Wednesday's win
Perbix scored a goal on two shots and blocked five shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Perbix has a point in each of his last two games, and he's earned a goal and three assists over 11 outings since he recovered from an upper-body injury. The defenseman is up to eight points, 39 shots on net, 39 blocked shots, 19 hits and a minus-10 rating through 36 outings this season. While he plays in a top-four role, he doesn't score enough to help in standard fantasy formats.

Braden Schneider D | NYR
Rangers' Braden Schneider: Finds twine in loss
Schneider scored a goal, added two hits and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.
Schneider lit the lamp for the first time in two months. The 29-game goal drought saw him pick up just three assists with 59 hits, 51 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. The defenseman's chances on offense are likely to be reduced now that Adam Fox (upper body) is back, making Schneider a poor choice in most fantasy formats. For the season, the 24-year-old Schneider has eight points, 50 shots, 90 hits, 68 blocks and a minus-5 rating through 42 appearances.

Matt Roy D | WAS
Capitals' Matt Roy: Earns assist in Wednesday's win
Roy posted an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.
The helper snapped a 10-game slump for Roy. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to be a steady source of physical play in a top-four role, but his offense can waver. For the season, he has 11 points, 52 shots on net, 50 hits, 85 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating over 40 appearances. He's a little behind the scoring pace that has seen him average 25 points per year over the last three regular seasons.

Logan Stanley D | BUF
Jets' Logan Stanley: Finds twine in loss
Stanley scored a goal in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Detroit.
Stanley broke the shutout bid midway through the third period with his seventh goal of the season. While he has yet to be a consistent playmaker this season, he is tied for fourth on the Jets in goals, which leads all of the team's defensemen. With four goals in his last 10 games, he has a legitimate chance to reach the double-digit goal mark for the first time in his six-year career. The 27-year-old blueliner is worth a look in category-based fantasy leagues with 13 points, 43 shots on net, 67 hits and 43 blocks through 38 games this year.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Two points including OT winner
Raddysh scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Ducks.
After helping to set up a J.J. Moser tally in the first period, Raddysh banged home a feed from Brandon Hagel in OT to end things. The 29-year-old blueliner continues to shine while Victor Hedman (elbow) is on the shelf, and Raddysh racked up six goals and 13 points in 14 December contests while adding 38 shots on net, 19 hits, 13 blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-6 rating to his ledger.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Tallies power-play assist
Seider tallied a power-play assist and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Winnipeg.
Seider recorded the primary helper on Dylan Larkin's power-play goal to open the scoresheet in Wednesday's contest. With the apple, he now has 24 assists, 31 points, 98 shots on net, 70 hits and 90 blocks through 41 appearances this season. Even if his point pace slows at some point during the second half of the season, the 24-year-old blueliner is on a strong enough pace to reach a new career high in goals and points. Seider should continue to produce one of the best combinations of category-coverage stats from the blue line, giving him elite fantasy value in the second half of the season.
-
Rasmus Sandin D | WAS
Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Two-point effort Wednesday
Sandin notched two assists in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.
The 25-year-old blueliner had a hand in a Tom Wilson tally in the second period before Aliaksei Protas re-directed his shot past Jonathan Quick in the third for what proved to be the game-winner. Sandin heads into 2026 with a little bit of steam, picking up six assists in his last nine games, but he's gone 22 straight appearances without finding the back of the net himself.
-
Adam Fox D | NYR
Rangers' Adam Fox: Two points in return
Fox scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.
Activated off IR ahead of the afternoon contest, Fox wasted little time making an impact for the Rangers, helping to set up a Vincent Trocheck tally late in the first period before blasting a one-timer past Charlie Lindgren late in the second. Fox missed nearly the entire month of December with an upper-body injury, but through 28 games this season he's produced four goals and 28 points, including nine (two goals, seven assists) with the man advantage.

Jonathan Aspirot D | BOS
Bruins' Jonathan Aspirot: Scores in second game back
Aspirot scored a goal on three shots, added five PIM and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Oilers.
This was Aspirot's second game back after he missed seven contests due to an upper-body injury. He's returned to a bottom-four role on the Bruins' blue line, bumping Vladislav Kolyachonok out of the mix for now. Aspirot has two goals, 16 shots on net, 34 hits, 28 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 21 appearances. He has more value on the ice than in fantasy and is unlikely to be helpful in most formats.
