  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Set to play

Mukhamadullin (lower body) is expected to play against Minnesota on Wednesday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Mukhamadullin sat out Tuesday's practice, but he won't miss game action due to the injury. He has collected two goals, six points, 16 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and 10 hits in 21 appearances this season.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

Ducks' Radko Gudas: Not playing Wednesday

Gudas (illness) won't play against Tampa Bay on Wednesday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Gudas will miss his second straight game, and it's unclear if he will be ready to play against Minnesota on Friday. He has compiled one goal, seven assists, 35 shots on net, 49 blocked shots and 94 hits across 27 appearances this season.

  • Egor Zamula D | CLB

    Penguins' Egor Zamula: Dealt Wednesday

Zamula was acquired by Pittsburgh from Philadelphia on Wednesday in exchange for Philip Tomasino.

Zamula has an assist, four PIM, two hits and 15 blocks in 13 appearances with the Flyers this season. He also has two assists in three games with AHL Lehigh Valley. Zamula was placed on waivers Dec. 18 and sent to the minors after clearing, so Pittsburgh has the option of keeping the 25-year-old in the AHL.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Game-time decision

Mukhamadullin (lower body) will be a game-time decision against Minnesota on Wednesday, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

Mukhamadullin didn't participate in Tuesday's practice, but he has played in the last six games. He has two goals, six points, 16 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and 10 hits in 21 appearances this season. If Mukhamadullin is unavailable, Nick Leddy will probably play against the Wild on Wednesday.

  • Brett Kulak D | COL

Penguins' Brett Kulak: First point with new team

Kulak notched an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.

This was Kulak's first point as a Penguin, to go with 12 blocked shots, two hits, two shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-1 rating. He's taken on top-four minutes, but his defensive playing style will keep him out of the mix in most fantasy formats. For the season, he has just three helpers with 50 blocks, six hits, 35 shots on net, 12 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 38 appearances between Pittsburgh and Edmonton.

  • Mike Reilly D | CAR

Hurricanes' Mike Reilly: Snags helper Tuesday

Reilly logged an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Penguins.

Reilly has played in five straight games since Jaccob Slavin (upper body) ended up on injured reserve again. This was Reilly's first helper since Nov. 4, and his ice time remains fairly limited in a third-pairing role. He could also exit the lineup once Shayne Gostisbehere (groin) is ready to return. Reilly has six points, 43 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 12 hits and a plus-8 rating across 26 appearances this season.

  • Erik Cernak D | TB

Lightning's Erik Cernak: Off long-term injured reserve

Cernak (hand) was activated off long-term injured reserve and is expected to play Wednesday versus Anaheim, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.

Cernak hasn't been in the lineup since Nov. 22 because of the injury. He has four assists, 21 PIM, 40 hits and 43 blocks in 19 outings in 2025-26. Max Crozier might be a healthy scratch Wednesday as a result of Cernak's return.

  • Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Ready to rock

Lyubushkin (illness) will return to the lineup against Buffalo on Wednesday, Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports reports.

Lyubushkin will return to the third pairing after missing Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Chicago. He has produced one goal, six assists, 17 shots on net, 52 blocked shots and 43 hits across 27 appearances this season. Lyubushkin will replace Kyle Capobianco in Wednesday's lineup.

  • Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Out indefinitely

Tanev (groin) is expected to miss a significant amount of time, according to Jonas Siegel of The Athletic on Wednesday.

Tanev sat out Tuesday's 4-0 win over New Jersey, and an exact timeline for his return is unclear. He has provided two assists, eight shots on goal, 15 blocked shots and two hits while being limited to only 11 appearances this season. With Tanev unavailable, Simon Benoit could play regularly again after being a healthy scratch for three straight games before his return to the lineup against the Devils on Tuesday.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Records two assists

Karlsson had two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Karlsson assisted Anthony Mantha's power-play goal in the first period and also set up Thomas Novak's strike in the second frame. The 35-year-old veteran is on pace to reach the 60-point plateau if he stays healthy, as he has 28 points (three goals, 25 assists) in 38 games this season.
