Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Week-to-week
Theodore (upper body) will not travel with the team on its two-game road trip this weekend and is considered week-to-week at this time, Hanah Kirkell of Vegas Hockey Now reports Friday.
Theodore missed Wednesday's game against New Jersey and is likely out until the New Year. He got off to a slow start with five assists in his first 14 games, but he's upped his offensive production since then, tallying four goals and 11 assists in his last 17 games. Jeremy Lauzon returned to action Wednesday after missing 14 games, taking Theodore's place in the lineup.

Haydn Fleury D | WPG
Jets' Haydn Fleury: Set to play Friday
Fleury (concussion) is expected to be taken off injured reserve and play Friday in Colorado.
Fleury hasn't been in the lineup since Nov. 11. He has no points, 11 shots, 22 hits and 26 blocks in 15 appearances this season. Fleury is projected to serve on the third pairing alongside Logan Stanley. Luke Schenn is set to be a healthy scratch after playing in Winnipeg's past six games.

Mattias Samuelsson D | BUF
Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Collects pair of helpers
Samuelsson registered two assists in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.
Samuelsson set up Jack Quinn for the opening goal and Ryan McLeod for an empty-netter. This performance ended a nine-game point drought for Samuelsson, who had been surprisingly productive on offense prior to the slump. He's already matched his career high of 14 points, doing so in half as many games as last year. He's added 44 shots on net, 40 hits, 66 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 31 appearances in 2025-26.

Nikolas Matinpalo D | OTT
Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Blocks three shots Thursday
Matinpalo logged three blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Penguins.
Matinpalo has now been held off the scoresheet for nine consecutive games. He originally had an assist on Brady Tkachuk's second of the goal night, but the NHL later awarded the helper to Fabian Zetterlund. The 27-year-old Matinpalo has occupied a bottom-four role all season, and with the Senators often leaning on Jake Sanderson and Artem Zub for big minutes, Matinpalo's ice time has remained fairly low at an average of 15:02. For the season, Matinpalo has produced four assists, 16 shots on net, 22 hits, 28 blocked shots and eight PIM over 24 outings.

Nick Jensen D | OTT
Senators' Nick Jensen: Secures assist Thursday
Jensen logged an assist in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Penguins.
Jensen snapped a 10-game point drought when he helped set up Brady Tkachuk's second goal of the contest. The 35-year-old Jensen saw 19:16 of ice time Thursday, his highest total since Nov. 11. He's been firmly in a bottom-four role this season, which limits his appeal in fantasy, especially since he didn't have a high ceiling to begin with. Jensen is at seven points, 21 shots on net, 22 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 33 appearances.

Noah Dobson D | MON
Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Tallies in Thursday's win
Dobson scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.
The goal initially looked to be Owen Beck's, but Dobson ultimately got credit for it. This ended a five-game slump for Dobson, who has gotten on the scoresheet in just two of the Canadiens' last 12 contests. For the season, the 25-year-old defenseman has five goals, 19 points, 61 shots on net, 82 blocked shots, 18 PIM and an even plus-minus rating. He continues to play important top-four minutes, and he should be capable of reaching the 40-point mark this year after missing it by one in 2024-25.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Out for Saturday
Bogosian (lower body) will miss his third straight game Saturday against Edmonton, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports Friday.
Bogosian has one goal and one assist in 17 games this season. The defenseman is considered day-to-day and could return as early as Sunday against Colorado.

Charlie McAvoy D | BOS
Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Records assist in loss
McAvoy recorded a power-play assist, placed three shots on net, had two blocks and dished out two hits in Thursday's 3-1 loss to Edmonton.
McAvoy had a hand in Boston's lone goal of the game, which was netted by Pavel Zacha on a first-period power play. The apple brings McAvoy up to 16 assists, 33 shots on net, 30 hits and 40 blocks through 23 games this season. The power-play assist was the 27-year-old blueliner's second across four games since his return from a facial injury. When he's been in the lineup, McAvoy has performed well in each area of the game outside of finding the back of the net. He has already matched his assist output through 50 games a year ago and could be trending toward another 40-point season if he can stay healthy. The all-around play from Boston's top defenseman gives him strong value in nearly all fantasy formats moving forward.

Darnell Nurse D | EDM
Oilers' Darnell Nurse: Chips in with helper
Nurse recorded an assist, blocked four shots and served two PIM in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Nurse played a hand in Connor McDavid's shorthanded goal to help build a two-goal lead early in the third period. With the apple, Nurse now has seven assists, 13 points, 77 shots on goal, 49 hits and 79 blocks through 35 games this season. While his contributions offensively have been inconsistent since the start of November, the 30-year-old defenseman has three points in his last five games to go along with his strong category coverage. He currently ranks sixth in the NHL in blocks, trailing Toronto's Jake McCabe by seven for the league lead. Nurse's all-around production gives him viability at a high level in nearly all fantasy formats. Look for him to make a push for his eighth consecutive season with 30 points or more.

Lane Hutson D | MON
Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Three helpers Thursday
Hutson notched three assists in Thursday's 4-1 win over Chicago.
The reigning Calder Trophy winner racked up his fourth multi-point performance in the last five games as he hits the jets on his offense. Hutson is up to five goals and 31 points in 34 contests to begin the season, and he's done it without significant power-play production -- just nine of his points (one goal, eight assists) have come with the man advantage.
