Lane Hutson D | MON
Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Three helpers Thursday
Hutson notched three assists in Thursday's 4-1 win over Chicago.
The reigning Calder Trophy winner racked up his fourth multi-point performance in the last five games as he hits the jets on his offense. Hutson is up to five goals and 31 points in 34 contests to begin the season, and he's done it without significant power-play production -- just nine of his points (one goal, eight assists) have come with the man advantage.

Cam York D | PHI
Flyers' Cam York: Tallies goal against Sabres
York scored a goal on two shots in a 5-3 win over Buffalo on Thursday.
York ended a 15-game goal drought with his tally, registering his first point since a four-game absence earlier this month. With Rasmus Ristolainen healthy, he could steal some power-play time from York, which could result in a drop in production for the 24-year-old blueliner.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Carries offense in Thursday's loss
Werenski scored two goals in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.
The star blueliner was the only Columbus player to get a puck past Jesper Wallstedt, blasting home a one-timer late in the first period before snapping a shot in off the post on a solo rush late in the second. Werenski has produced back-to-back two-goal performances while putting an erratic start to the season firmly in his rearview mirror, and since the beginning of November, he's delivered an eye-popping 10 goals and 30 points in 24 games.

Dennis Gilbert D | OTT
Senators' Dennis Gilbert: Reassigned to AHL
Gilbert was loaned to AHL Belleville on Friday.
Gilbert was recalled Nov. 29 when Thomas Chabot went on injured reserve with an upper-body injury. Chabot is likely to return to action this weekend, making Gilbert redundant at this time. Gilbert played only once during his nine-game recall, going minus-1 with one blocked shot in 13:50 of action.

Shakir Mukhamadullin D | SJ
Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Lights lamp in loss
Mukhamadullin scored a goal, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars.
Mukhamadullin has been in a part-time role in December and also battled an upper-body injury. When he plays, he's on the third pairing, and he saw just 11:53 of ice time Thursday, which suggests his standing on the blue line is trending down. He's produced two goals, six points, 13 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 10 hits and a plus-4 rating over 17 appearances, but he's a risky fantasy option if he's not going to play every game.

Esa Lindell D | DAL
Stars' Esa Lindell: Logs pair of assists
Lindell notched two assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Sharks.
Lindell had a hand in first-period tallies by Roope Hintz and Wyatt Johnston. This was Lindell's second multi-point effort in December -- he's up to six points over nine outings this month. For the season, the reliable defenseman has four goals, 10 helpers, 37 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating over 35 appearances. He'll continue to chip in some depth offense while stabilizing fantasy teams with strong production in blocks and plus-minus rating.

Ryker Evans D | SEA
Kraken's Ryker Evans: Posts helper Thursday
Evans registered a power-play assist and two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.
Evans ended his nine-game slump on offense with the helper. He was also scratched once in that span, though that's unlikely to happen again while Brandon Montour (undisclosed) is on the mend. Evans is at seven points, 15 shots on net, 15 blocked shots, 11 hits, 10 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 18 outings this season.

Rasmus Andersson D | LV
Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Dishes three assists in win
Andersson recorded three assists, three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Andersson picked up his second multi-point outing of the month by setting up the Flames' first three goals. The 29-year-old defenseman is having a strong bounce-back campaign, earning 25 points (seven goals, 18 helpers) over 35 contests. He's added 90 shots on net, 67 blocked shots, 38 PIM and a plus-3 rating while occupying a top-four role with power-play time.

Conor Timmins D | BUF
Sabres' Conor Timmins: Suffers broken leg
Timmins suffered a broken left leg in Thursday's game versus the Flyers, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports. The defenseman will be sidelined at least 6-8 weeks.
Given the timeline of the injury, it's possible Timmins will be out through the Olympic break. The blueliner could also end up on injured reserve to open a roster spot. Jacob Bryson will likely get the first chance to step into the lineup, but a few players may rotate through on the third pairing during Timmins' absence.
