Clarke scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Islanders.

After having a hand in an Artemi Panarin tally early in the first period that opened the scoring, Clarke ended things by wiring a shot past Semyon Varlamov from the faceoff dot. Clarke has fully assumed the mantle of No. 1 defenseman for the Kings this season from Drew Doughty, and through eight games the 23-year-old has two goals and seven points while adding 16 blocked shots, 18 shots on net, 21 PIM and a minus-5 rating.

McCabe notched an assist, five shots on net and four blocked shots in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Rangers.

McCabe was able to avoid missing time after taking a scary high stick around his eye in the Maple Leafs' previous game. His vision appears to be fine, as he threaded a nice pass to Easton Cowan for the opening goal Thursday. McCabe has just the one helper this season to go with 13 shots on net, 16 hits, 25 blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-1 rating. His production in the physical stats will allow him to carry some fantasy value in banger leagues and deep formats.

Dickinson posted a shorthanded assist in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Senators.

Dickinson earned his second helper of the campaign. The 20-year-old defenseman is up to seven shots on net, 16 hits, 11 blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-5 rating over nine appearances. Dickinson was scratched for the first two games of the year but has settled into a second-pairing role, though he's not receiving much power-play time, which limits his ceiling in fantasy.

Allan scored a goal on three shots, went plus-2, added four hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Senators.

This was Allan's second goal in six outings this season. The 23-year-old defenseman is working in a part-time role and sees bottom-four minutes when he's in the lineup. He'll be competing with Sam Dickinson and Luca Cagnoni for two spots in the lineup typically. Allan has added eight shots on net, 12 hits, seven blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-4 rating, showcasing a bit of all-around potential if he's able to solidify his spot in the lineup.

Sergachev had two assists, including one on the power play, and two shots on goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.

Sergachev has a goal and three helpers during a three-game point streak, his longest stretch of the season. The 28-year-old blueliner remains consistent on offense with a total of three goals, 10 assists, 29 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 11 outings this season. Sergachev's top-pairing role and spot on the first power-play unit for a dynamic Utah offense makes him a strong offensive defenseman in fantasy.

Montour scored a power-play goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Mammoth.

Montour has three points over two games since he came back from a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old defenseman is seeing heavy usage this season, averaging 23:43 of ice time per game, though that doesn't tell the whole story since he left one game early with that aforementioned injury. He's been above 25 minutes in four of his last six outings. On the year, he's at two goals, six helpers, 18 shots on net, 10 hits, 16 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 10 contests, making him a well-rounded option in fantasy.

Stecher scored his first goal of the season in a 5-4 win over the Rangers on Tuesday.

It came in his 12th game of the season. Stecher took a pass on a delayed penalty and went high over Dylan Garand's glove with 28 seconds left in the game to seal the win for the Maple Leafs. Stecher was claimed off waivers by Toronto from Edmonton on Nov. 15, 2025. It was his third game-winning goal (636 games).

Johansson notched an assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.

This was his first point of the campaign. Johansson has filled a bottom-four role for much of the season so far, though his 19:44 of ice time Thursday was his second-highest total of the year. Through 10 appearances, he's added 13 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. Johansson has a total of 21 points across 153 games in his NHL career, so he's unlikely to be a steady source of offense.

Fox delivered four assists in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Maple Leafs.

It was Fox's third career four-assist game. Only two Rangers defenders have as many: Brian Leetch (six) and Brad Park (five). Fox has eight assists in his last five games and 14 helpers in 12 games so far. He leads all defenders and sits second overall in the NHL in that category.

Wallinder scored a goal and added two hits in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.

Wallinder has filled a part-time role as the Red Wings continue to balance his usage as well as Axel Sandin-Pellikka's early in the campaign. Through five outings, Wallinder has done fairly well, earning two goals, one assist, five shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. Until his playing time steadies, the 24-year-old defenseman won't be a strong fantasy option.
