  • Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Contributes two assists

Sanheim notched two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.

Sanheim earned his first multi-point effort since Oct. 13 versus the Panthers. Over the last seven games, Sanheim has collected four assists with a minus-1 rating. The 29-year-old blueliner plays a key all-situations role for the Flyers and is up to 11 points, 34 shots on net, 49 blocked shots and 18 hits over 26 appearances. While he gets plenty of ice time, his defensive duties will often get in the way of him shining on offense, which limits his effectiveness in fantasy.

  • Cam York D | PHI

    Flyers' Cam York: Injury clarified

York sustained an upper-body injury versus the Sabres on Wednesday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.

York's injury was not specified when the Flyers announced him as out for the rest of the game. He was hurt on a hit behind the net during the second period. It's unclear if the blueliner will be ready to play Sunday versus the Avalanche.

  • Devils' Seamus Casey: Picks up three helpers in AHL win

Casey posted three assists in AHL Utica's 4-3 overtime win over Rochester on Wednesday.

Casey posted his first multi-point effort of the AHL campaign. He's now at seven assists, 25 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 11 appearances. The 21-year-old defenseman also saw action in two NHL games earlier in the season, but he went minus-3 and failed to earn a point. His future is bright, but he'll need to show a lot more with the Comets to earn another call-up.

  • Cam York D | PHI

Flyers' Cam York: Sustains undisclosed injury

York (undisclosed) won't return to Wednesday's game versus the Sabres.

York was hurt late in the second period and didn't come out for the third. The nature of the injury isn't yet known. The Flyers don't play again until Sunday versus the Avalanche, and if York can't suit up, Noah Juulsen would likely draw back into the lineup.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Sitting out Wednesday

Carlson (upper body) won't play Wednesday versus the Sharks.

Carlson was not announced as a game-time decision, but he was ruled out after participating in warmups. Declan Chisholm will replace him in the lineup, while Rasmus Sandin is likely to absorb Carlson's power-play time.

  • Matt Benning D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Matt Benning: Doubles output with three assists

Benning recorded three assists in AHL Toronto's 4-3 win over Belleville on Wednesday.

Benning returned from a month-long absence Wednesday and erupted for his best game of the season. He's now at six assists, nine shots on net and a plus-2 rating over eight appearances in his second year with the Marlies. He's never had more than eight points in an AHL season, which came last year in 39 regular-season appearances, though his path back to the NHL isn't particularly clear once the Maple Leafs get healthier on the blue line.

  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Good to play Wednesday

Pionk (lower body) is expected to draw into the lineup Wednesday in Montreal.

Pionk missed Winnipeg's past four games. He has a goal, five points, 42 hits and 36 blocks in 21 appearances in 2025-26. Pionk is projected to serve on the second pairing alongside Dylan Samberg. Luke Schenn is set to be a healthy scratch after playing in the Jets' last two games.

  • Stars' Kyle Capobianco: Scores in overtime loss

Capobianco scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Capobianco has played a larger role than expected this year, and he's delivered results recently. All four of his points this season have come over the last six games, part of a stretch of nine straight contests in the lineup while the Stars navigate a tough run of injuries on the blue line. The 28-year-old defenseman has added seven shots on net, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 12 appearances.

  • Carson Soucy D | NYI

Rangers' Carson Soucy: Tallies again Tuesday

Soucy scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and logged four PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars.

Soucy has scored twice over the last three games following a stretch of 16 contests in which he had just one helper. The 31-year-old defenseman will continue to see top-four minutes in a primarily defensive role. He's at three goals, two assists, 23 shots on net, 38 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 24 outings this season.

  • Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Plays hero in overtime

Gavrikov scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars.

Gavrikov tallied 1:09 into the extra session to complete the Rangers' comeback win. The 30-year-old defenseman is poised for heavy usage in the long-term absence of Adam Fox (upper body), who is likely to miss most or all of December at a minimum. Gavrikov has six points over his last six games and a total of five goals, 12 points, 37 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating in 28 appearances this season. He's one goal away from matching his career high, and he could also push for a new high mark in points -- he'll be aiming to top the 33 he had in 2021-22 with the Blue Jackets.
