  • Predators' Justin Barron: Not in Tuesday's lineup

Barron (lower body) won't play versus the Flames on Tuesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Barron's injury was first reported Monday, though he'll be out of the lineup for a sixth straight game Tuesday. The 24-year-old is joined by Nick Perbix (upper body) as injured blueliners for Nashville. Adam Wilsby will enter the lineup to help pick up the slack. Even when healthy, there's no guarantee Barron will be active.

  • Predators' Nick Perbix: Unavailable Tuesday

Perbix (upper body) won't play against Calgary on Tuesday.

Perbix is day-to-day and will miss at least one game. He has collected two goals, four points, 30 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and 15 hits through 25 appearances this season. Adam Wilsby will replace Perbix in Tuesday's lineup.

  • Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Practices in non-contact jersey

Slavin (lower body) participated in Tuesday's practice in a non-contact jersey, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.

This was Slavin's first time back on the ice since he suffered an injury Oct. 11. The 31-year-old's status wasn't updated by the team, but this attendance at practice suggests he is starting to ramp up. Considering the length of his absence, he will likely need a handful of practices before being ready to play again, so his return is not yet imminent.

  • Canadiens' Jayden Struble: Expected to play Tuesday

Struble (upper body) is slated to play Tuesday versus the Senators, Guillaume Lefrancois of La Presse reports.

Struble missed Saturday's game versus the Avalanche due to the injury, but it looks like he's good to go. He'll retake his spot in the bottom four alongside Arber Xhekaj, and Adam Engstrom is set to be a healthy scratch.

  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Poised to play

DeAngelo (illness) is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, according to Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.

DeAngelo won't miss any playing time after being called a game-time decision. He has one goal, eight assists, 45 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and 12 hits in 26 appearances this season.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Rejoins team

Raddysh (personal) has rejoined the Lightning and is on the ice for warmups ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Islanders, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports.

Since Raddysh was not dealing with an injury, it's safe to assume he'll be fine to play Tuesday. The 29-year-old should be in contention for power-play minutes as well as a top-four role. He has seven points over his last three games.

  • Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Deemed week-to-week

Desharnais (upper body) is week-to-week, according to Max Miller of NHL.com on Tuesday.

Desharnais has missed the last three games, and the Sharks moved him to injured reserve before Monday's 6-3 win over Utah. He has generated two assists, 12 shots on goal, 34 blocked shots and 28 hits across 20 appearances this season.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Managing issue, could play Thursday

Montour (undisclosed) is day-to-day ahead of Thursday's game against Edmonton, according to Emerald City Hockey on Tuesday.

Head coach Lane Lambert expects Montour to play against the Oilers, but the 31-year-old defenseman missed his second straight practice Tuesday. Montour also didn't participate in Monday's session after he aggravated something. The Kraken called it a "team decision" to keep him off the ice. He has registered five goals, 13 points, 52 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and 21 hits across 20 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Denton Mateychuk: Earns first power-play point

Mateychuk scored a power-play goal and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-3 win over the Devils.

Mateychuk has two goals and an assist over his last five games. This goal was his first career power-play point, though he hasn't seen consistent usage with the man advantage this season since Zach Werenski sees a lot of time in that role. Mateychuk is up to six goals, 10 points, 26 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 25 appearances. He's worth consideration in deeper fantasy formats based on what he's already done, and his offense could grow into something with more widespread appeal.

  • Mammoth's Dmitri Simashev: Dropped to AHL

Simashev was assigned to AHL Tucson on Tuesday.

Utah also recalled Daniil But and placed Kevin Rooney on waivers during Tuesday's roster shuffle. Simashev has one assist, 23 shots on goal, 26 blocked shots and eight hits in 24 NHL appearances this season. He should receive a starring role in the AHL before a potential call-up to the Mammoth later in the year.
