Lane Hutson D | MON
Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Produces power-play tally in loss
Hutson scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Hutson saw a four-game point streak snapped Friday in Vegas. His goal Saturday was in the third period, well after the Avalanche had taken control of the contest. Hutson is up to four goals, 20 points (five on the power play), 38 shots on net, 38 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 24 appearances this season. He's producing at a similar level to last season, though he's had a bit more luck in finding goals so far in 2025-26 after netting six in 82 regular-season outings as a rookie in 2024-25.

Brent Burns D | COL
Avalanche's Brent Burns: Tickles twine Saturday
Burns scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Canadiens.
Burns has two goals over his last five games and totaled six points in 13 contests in November. His tally early in the second period stood as the game-winner in this blowout win. The 40-year-old defenseman has three goals, 12 points, 52 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 25 appearances. Burns could push for the 40-point mark this season given his current pace.

Devon Toews D | COL
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Scores in blowout win
Toews scored a goal on four shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Canadiens.
The blowout nature of this contest likely led to head coach Jared Bednar resting Toews a bit at the end -- he finished with 16:36 of ice time, lowest among all Colorado blueliners. The 31-year-old had a poor second half of November, with his goal Saturday snapping a six-game point drought. After his first tally of the season, he has eight points, 35 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-20 rating through 25 appearances in a top-pairing role.

Tyler Tucker D | STL
Blues' Tyler Tucker: Sits for second straight game
Tucker was a healthy scratch for Saturday's 1-0 win over the Mammoth.
This was Tucker's second scratch in a row and his third in the last nine games. The Blues appear more interested in giving Logan Mailloux a longer look on the third pairing for now. Tucker has four points, 21 shots on net, 26 hits, 16 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 23 appearances, but his physical play won't do fantasy managers any good if he continues to sit out. That could happen, as the Blues have won their last two contests and may not be interested in changing what's working.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Exits early Saturday
Ekman-Larsson sustained an upper-body injury late in Saturday's game versus the Penguins, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Ekman-Larsson said he was fine after the game, and head coach Craig Berube was hopeful it won't be a serious concern. That said, fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his status ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Panthers. Ekman-Larsson had a goal and an assist in the 7-2 win over the Penguins, giving him a nine-game point streak and a total of 20 points in 25 outings this season.

Mattias Samuelsson D | BUF
Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Cleared to play
Samuelsson has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Saturday versus the Wild.
Samuelsson was hurt in Friday's contest against the Devils, but he apparently didn't sustain a concussion. The 25-year-old will resume his usual top-four role and penalty-killing duties. Samuelsson has 12 points over 22 appearances this season, putting him three points shy of setting a new career high.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Second straight three-point game
Raddysh delivered three assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rangers.
He also had five shots Saturday. Raddysh has two consecutive three-point games, and his point streak sits at three games and seven points, including six assists. He has put up points in seven of his last eight games (two goals, 11 assists). Raddysh has three goals, 13 assists and 41 shots in 19 games this season.

Neal Pionk D | WPG
Jets' Neal Pionk: Won't play Saturday
Pionk (lower body) won't play Saturday in Nashville, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.
Pionk is set to miss his third consecutive game. He has a goal, five points, 42 hits and 36 blocks in 21 appearances in 2025-26. His next opportunity to return will come Monday in Buffalo.

Simon Benoit D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Unavailable Saturday
Benoit (personal) won't be in the lineup Saturday versus Pittsburgh, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Benoit has two assists, 17 PIM, 55 hits and 34 blocks in 23 appearances this year. Philippe Myers is set to draw into the lineup for the first time since Nov. 15 due to Benoit's absence.
