  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Leads team in win

Morrissey scored a power-play goal, dished two assists and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

Morrissey has gotten on the scoresheet in eight of the Jets' last nine games, with the lone exception being last Tuesday's shutout loss to the Kings. The 30-year-old blueliner had two points, including his goal, in the first period, and he added a power-play helper on Gabriel Vilardi's tally in the third. Morrissey is up to three goals, 16 points (four on the power play), 30 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 16 contests. All three of his goals have come in the last six games.

  • Haydn Fleury D | WPG

Jets' Haydn Fleury: Suffers undisclosed injury

Fleury (undisclosed) left Tuesday's game versus the Canucks in the second period, and there was no update on his status after the contest, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Fleury's injury is his second of the season already after he missed a game due to a kneecap in October. The defenseman's status should be updated prior to Thursday's game against the Kraken. If Fleury can't play, Colin Miller would likely enter the lineup on the third pairing.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Four points in last five games

Ekman-Larsson delivered a goal in a 5-3 loss to Boston on Tuesday.

It pulled the Leafs to within one goal early in the third period. Ekman-Larsson wired a wrister from the point that fooled Jeremy Swayman. OEL is becoming a bit of a renaissance man with a point in four of his last five games (one goal, three assists).

  • Jack Ahcan D | COL

Avalanche's Jack Ahcan: Shipped back to AHL

Ahcan was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Tuesday.

Ahcan has been on the shuttle to and from the AHL frequently this season. The Avalanche's next game is Thursday versus the Sabres, and the Eagles don't play Wednesday, so Ahcan won't be back with the big club immediately this time around.

  • Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Second all-time in Leafs history

Rielly picked up an assist in a 5-3 loss to Boston on Tuesday.

It was his 438th assist, and that moved Rielly past Tomas Kaberle for second among defensemen in Maple Leafs history. Borje Salming is first with 620. Rielly is on a six-game, eight-assist streak, and he has 14 points in 16 games thus far. He has just two power-play helpers, but that unit has struggled, and he's now a one-man band for excellence.

  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Four-game, six-assist streak

McAvoy delivered two assists in a 5-3 win over Toronto on Tuesday.

McAvoy has yet to record a goal this season, but he has 14 helpers in 17 games, and that includes six on his current four-game scoring streak. McAvoy is back to the level he showed in the early 2020s when he delivered 56, 52 and 47 points, respectively (2021-22 through 2023-24).

  • Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Four points in last four games

Lindholm scored a goal and added an assist Tuesday in a 5-3 win over Toronto.

It came on the power play. Lindholm pushed the Bruins up 2-1 near the midpoint of the first period when his wrist shot from above the left circle beat Anthony Stolarz to the top right corner. He has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last four contests. Lindholm will never replicate his lightning-in-a-bottle 2022-23 season in which he put up 53 points. Still, now that he's healthy, he could put up more than 30 points.

  • Nick Jensen D | OTT

Senators' Nick Jensen: First goal of season

Jensen scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.

It was his first goal of the season. Jensen pinched in from the blue line and finished a passing play by chipping the puck over Jake Oettinger's glove from in tight. He has four points (one goal, three assists) and 13 shots in 17 games this season, and he averages about one hit and one block each game. Jensen's fantasy value is limited, at best.

  • Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Nets third goal of season

Andersson scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.

Andersson found the back of the net at 14:29 of the second period, 25 seconds after Matthew Coronato's goal, with a wrister that went past Jordan Binnington. This was Andersson's first goal since Oct. 20, and while he can deliver solid numbers in the physicality department, he ultimately isn't producing enough to warrant much fantasy consideration despite his top-pair role in the lineup.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Impressive five-game, 11-point run

Heiskanen put up two assists Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Senators.

The points extended Heiskanen's scoring streak to five games and 11 points, including 10 assists and 10 shots. Five of the helpers have come on the power play, including one Tuesday. Heiskanen has really caught fire after scuffling through the first 12 games games with just two goals and three assists on 30 shots.
