  • Ryker Evans D | SEA

Kraken's Ryker Evans: Two points in season debut

Evans scored a goal on two shots on net and added an assist, two hits and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.

Making his season debut after recovering from an upper-body injury, Evans found the back of the net midway through the second period on a shot that deflected in off Alexei Toropchenko's skate. The 23-year-old blueliner has some offensive skill, but Evans' path to consistent power-play time is blocked by Vince Dunn and Brandon Montour, capping his fantasy appeal in formats that don't reward his hits and blocked shots.

  • Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: First career multi-point game

D'Astous notched two assists and three hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.

D'Astous eared his first multi-point effort by helping out on goals by Emil Lilleberg and Brandon Hagel. The 27-year-old D'Astous also logged a season-high 19:37 of ice time, filling the void created when Ryan McDonagh (undisclosed) left the game early. D'Astous is the latest diamond in the rough uncovered by the Lightning, and he's stepped into a regular bottom-four role. The blueliner has five points, eight shots on net, 11 hits, four blocked shots, nine PIM and a plus-1 rating over his first eight NHL appearances.

  • Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Forces overtime Saturday

Korczak scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Korczak ended a seven-game point drought with the tally, which tied the game with 5:07 left in regulation. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, one assist, 17 shots on net, 26 hits, 22 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 14 appearances. He's been in the lineup consistently as a third-pairing defenseman, so expect Korczak's scoring contributions to remain fairly limited.

  • Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Dishes two helpers Saturday

Zellweger notched two assists, five shots on goal, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Zellweger is heating up with four points and a plus-9 rating over his last five games. The 22-year-old defenseman started slow on offense, but he has made gains as the Ducks have emerged as a high-scoring team over the last couple of weeks. Zellweger has five points, 32 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, eight hits, 10 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 14 outings this season while occupying a top-four role with power-play time.

  • Jacob Trouba D | ANA

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Secures win in overtime

Trouba scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, went plus-3, logged three hits and blocked four shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.

Trouba's hot stretch is looking like more than just a burst at this point. He has two goals and three assists over his last five outings, which includes his third multi-point effort of the season Saturday. The 31-year-old is up to four goals, 10 points, 24 shots on net, 40 hits and 30 blocked shots, and a league-leading plus-16 rating. He's lacking in PIM, but strong totals everywhere else more than make up for his disciplined behavior a month into the season.

  • Devon Toews D | COL

Avalanche's Devon Toews: Distributes three helpers

Toews notched three assists, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Oilers.

Toews has six helpers this season, all of which have come over his last six games. With his first multi-point effort of the season, it's safe to say his cold start is in the past now. The 31-year-old blueliner has added 19 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating across 15 appearances. Toews can chip in 40-50 points a year, but he'll always take a backseat to Cale Makar when it comes to offense from the blue line on the first pairing.

  • Cale Makar D | COL

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Nets first two goals in romp

Makar scored two goals on four shots, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Oilers.

Makar's goals came 1:06 apart in the first period, and that was ultimately all the Avalanche needed for this win. His seven-game point streak ended in Tuesday's win over the Lightning, but few opponents have been able to keep Makar quiet this season. The defenseman is up to six goals and 20 points over 15 contests, leading all NHL blueliners in both of those scoring categories. The 27-year-old has added 28 blocked shots, 39 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-14 rating. While it would take good health and incredible consistency, Makar has the talent to push for a 100-point campaign.

  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Out of coach's dog house for now

Lohrei picked up two assists in a 5-3 win over Toronto on Saturday.

Lohrei was a healthy scratch for five games before returning to the lineup in Saturday's win. He got a chance to play due to the absence of Charlie McAvoy (personal). Lohrei has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 12 games. He still needs to show he can earn consistent ice time to be more than a spot-filler for fantasy squads.

  • Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Four-game, six-assist streak

Rielly picked up two assists in a 5-3 loss to Boston on Saturday.

The Leafs haven't been great this season, but that hasn't stopped Rielly from piling up points. He has six assists during a four-game point streak. Rielly is up to 12 points, including 10 helpers, in 14 games this season. Remarkably, Rielly has just one power-play point in that mix. He put up significant points with the man advantage during his best seasons, but he has been relegated to the second unit recently.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Three-game, four-point streak

Carlson scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 loss to Tampa Bay.

Carlson was credited with the goal after he fired a point shot that got behind Andrei Vasilevskiy, and Tampa Bay defender Erik Cernak accidentally punched the puck in the net while attempting to clear it. Carlson is on a three-game point streak (two goals, two assists). The 35-year-old veteran has 11 points in 15 games, a pace that could see him hit 60 points this season.
