Francesco Dell'Elce D | COL
Avalanche's Francesco Dell'Elce: One of each Friday
Dell'Elce scored a goal and added an assist in UMass-Amherst's 4-0 win over the University of Maine on Friday.
Dell'Elce has put together a fine sophomore season so far, earning three goals and six helpers over 11 games. The 20-year-old defenseman has good offensive instincts, and his plus-2 rating is passable on the defensive side of things. Dell'Elce is an Avalanche prospect, selected in the third round in 2025.

Kevin Bahl D | CGY
Flames' Kevin Bahl: Not playing Friday
Bahl (undisclosed) won't play Friday versus the Blackhawks, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Bahl was considered a game-time decision but didn't take the ice for warmups. Yan Kuznetsov and Zayne Parekh will both be in the lineup while Bahl is out and Jake Bean is a healthy scratch for Friday's contest. Bahl's next chance to play is Sunday in Minnesota.

Zac Jones D | BUF
Sabres' Zac Jones: Up from minors
Jones was summoned from AHL Rochester on Friday, per Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald.
Rasmus Dahlin (personal) was placed on the non-roster list in a corresponding move. Jones has 13 assists in 11 appearances with Rochester this season. He recorded a goal and 11 points in 46 regular-season outings with the Rangers in 2024-25. Jones probably won't see more than third-pairing duties with Buffalo during Dahlin's absence.

Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Designated non-roster
Dahlin (personal) has been placed on the non-roster, injured reserve list Friday, per the NHL media site.
While Dahlin is in Sweden to attend to a personal matter, the team will need an extra defenseman on the 23-man roster. With the available spot, the Sabres recalled Zac Jones from AHL Rochester. As soon as Dahlin rejoins the team, he will be eligible to be taken off the non-roster list.

Ian Moore D | ANA
Ducks' Ian Moore: Pots goal in high-scoring win
Moore scored a goal and added four PIM in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Stars.
The goal was Moore's first point of the season. The 23-year-old has added six shots on net, eight PIM, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over seven appearances in a third-pairing role. Moore is likely to stay in the lineup as long as Radko Gudas (lower body) is sidelined.

Olen Zellweger D | ANA
Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Nets first goal of 2025-26
Zellweger scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Stars.
Zellweger's tally late in the second period gave the Ducks their first lead of the game. It was his first goal of 2025-26, and two of his three points this year have come on the power play. Zellweger has added 27 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 13 appearances. The Ducks have one of the top offenses in the league so far, so the 22-year-old blueliner should find more ways to get involved as the season progresses.
-
Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Sets up four goals Thursday
Heiskanen had four assists, including two on the power play, in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Ducks.
Heiskanen was unable to find the back of the net like he did against the Oilers on Tuesday, but he made his presence felt on offense after being involved in all but one of the team's goals. One of the best playmakers in the league when talking about blueliners, Heiskanen has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 14 games this season.
-
Samuel Girard D | PIT
Avalanche's Samuel Girard: Not playing this weekend
Girard (upper body) will not travel to Edmonton and Vancouver this weekend, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports Friday.
Girard has been out since Oct. 11 and has missed 12 games thus far. The 27-year-old had three hits and three blocked shots in two games before his injury. Girard could return as early as Tuesday against the Ducks.
-
Rasmus Sandin D | WAS
Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Nets goal in loss
Sandin scored a goal on three shots, blocked four shots and added two hits in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.
Sandin brought the Capitals back within a goal at 14:55 of the second period. The 25-year-old has a goal and an assist over two games since returning from an upper-body injury, so it looks like he's back to 100 percent. He offers decent category coverage in fantasy when his offense is rolling, but he's unlikely to stand out in any one area. Sandin has four points, seven shots on net, 18 hits, 15 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through nine appearances.

Kevin Bahl D | CGY
Flames' Kevin Bahl: Game-time decision Friday
Bahl (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision versus Chicago on Friday. Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Bahl has yet to miss a game this season. He has one goal, two assists, 23 blocked shots and 13 hits across 15 appearances this season. Should Bahl miss Friday's tilt, Zayne Parekh is likely to take his spot on the blue line.
