Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Pots goal in shootout win
Seider scored a goal on four shots, added four PIM, doled out four hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sharks.
Seider is on a four-game point streak (one goal, three assists). The 24-year-old defenseman started the year quiet on offense, but he's picking up the pace while maintaining his usual elite levels of non-scoring production. Overall, he's at six points, 30 shots on net, 29 hits, 20 blocks, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 13 appearances.

Ian Cole D | UTA
Mammoth's Ian Cole: Picks up two assists
Cole recorded two assists, one hit and a plus-1 rating during his 16:32 of ice time in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning.
Cole picked up the lone assist on each of the Mammoth's two goals during Sunday's game, bringing his total up to six points (one goal, five assists) through 12 games. The 36-year-old blueliner's career high for points is 26, so Cole's 41-point pace is unsustainable, especially since he's skating in a third-pairing role without power-play action.

Brayden Pachal D | CGY
Flames' Brayden Pachal: Garners assist in win
Pachal logged an assist in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Flyers.
Pachal has been out of the lineup a lot so far, but he's played in three straight games and stayed in even with fellow right-shot blueliner Zayne Parekh suiting up for this contest. The 26-year-old Pachal has one assist, five shots on net, 14 hits, three blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-3 rating over seven appearances. He'll continue to compete with Parekh and Jake Bean for third-pairing minutes.

Domenick Fensore D | CAR
Hurricanes' Domenick Fensore: Back up with big club
Fensore was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday.
Fensore was sent to the minors Saturday, but he's back with the big club in short order. The 24-year-old has appeared in one game with the Hurricanes this season, posting a minus-2 rating while receiving 19:22 of ice time in a loss to the Golden Knights on Oct. 28. The 2019 third-round selection could remain with Carolina until Shayne Gostisbehere (abdomen) is ready to return to the lineup.

Denton Mateychuk D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Denton Mateychuk: Banged up following loss
Head coach Dean Evason said after Sunday's loss to the Islanders that Mateychuk is banged up, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
While the exact nature and severity of Mateychuk's injury aren't yet clear, he saw a season-low 13:01 of ice time in the loss. The 21-year-old hasn't yet missed any games this year, and it's not yet clear whether his ailment will impact his availability for Wednesday's game against Calgary.

Radko Gudas D | ANA
Ducks' Radko Gudas: Remains sidelined
Gudas (lower body) won't play Sunday versus New Jersey, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Gudas will remain sidelined for a fourth consecutive game due to his lower-body injury. It's unclear if he's close to returning to the lineup, but his next chance to suit up will be at home Tuesday against the Panthers.

Blake Fiddler D | SEA
Kraken's Blake Fiddler: Three helpers in WHL win
Fiddler logged three assists in WHL Edmonton's 8-4 win over Swift Current on Sunday.
This is just the second multi-point effort of the year for Fiddler. The defenseman has two goals and 10 assists over 17 appearances, which isn't all that much better than the 33-point performance he put forth in 64 regular-season contests in 2024-25. Fiddler is a Kraken prospect, selected 36th overall in 2025, and he's a July birthday that makes him a bit younger than most members of his draft class. He's got some all-around defensive appeal, but it would be a positive to see his offense take a leap forward within the next couple of years.

Timothy Liljegren D | WAS
Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Set to play Sunday
Liljegren (upper body) will be in the lineup against Detroit on Sunday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Liljegren logged only 7:18 of ice time in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over Colorado, but he won't miss additional action due to the injury. He has produced three assists, eight shots on net, 18 blocked shots and 10 hits across nine outings this season.

Christopher Tanev D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Back on IR
Tanev (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
The Maple Leafs recalled Dakota Mermis from AHL Toronto in a corresponding move. Tanev missed four straight outings due to a concussion before returning to the lineup against Philadelphia on Saturday. However, he suffered another injury in the contest, and he will miss at least the next three games after landing back on the IR list. It's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup.

Dakota Mermis D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dakota Mermis: Recalled from AHL
Mermis was recalled from AHL Toronto on Sunday.
Chris Tanev (upper body) has been placed on injured reserve, and Mermis has been brought up in a corresponding move by the Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old Mermis has appeared in just three games between the AHL and NHL levels so far this season, recording no points in any of them. He will likely just serve as depth for now.
