Cam Dineen D | EDM
Oilers' Cam Dineen: Pair of points Saturday
Dineen scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Bakersfield's 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary on Saturday.
Dineen has made a positive start to the AHL season with six points over eight games. The 27-year-old has enough experience to get a call-up should the Oilers need emergency depth on the blue line. However, with Edmonton's defense at nearly full health, don't expect Dineen to be recalled any time soon.

Timothy Liljegren D | WAS
Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Suffers upper-body injury
Liljegren exited Saturday's clash against Colorado because of an upper-body injury and won't return to the game.
Liljegren had no points in 7:20 of ice time before departing Saturday. That gives him three assists in nine outings this season, including the matchup against the Avalanche. If Liljegren isn't available for Sunday's tilt against Detroit, then Vincent Iorio might draw back into the lineup.

Dakota Mermis D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dakota Mermis: Heads to AHL
Mermis was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Saturday.
Mermis had no points and one shot while logging 13:12 of ice time in his season debut with the Maple Leafs on Oct. 24. He followed that up by being a healthy scratch in Toronto's past three games. Mermis' demotion corresponds with Chris Tanev (concussion) being activated off injured reserve.

Domenick Fensore D | CAR
Hurricanes' Domenick Fensore: Returned to AHL
Fensore was loaned to AHL Chicago on Saturday.
Fensore could play in Saturday's matchup against AHL Toronto before potentially being recalled by Carolina. He has been a healthy scratch with the Hurricanes in three of the last four games, including Saturday's 2-1 loss to Boston.

Christopher Tanev D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Off injured reserve
Tanev (concussion) was taken off injured reserve, per the NHL media site, which clears him to play Saturday in Philadelphia.
Tanev was already expected to play against the Flyers, and his activation off IR cements his availability. He missed four straight games due to the injury. Tanev has an assist, two hits and eight blocks in seven appearances this season. Philippe Myers is projected to be a healthy scratch Saturday due to Tanev's return.

Adam Wilsby D | NSH
Predators' Adam Wilsby: Unavailable Saturday
Wilsby (lower body) won't play against Calgary on Sunday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Wilsby remains day-to-day and will miss his second straight outing. He has produced two assists, 11 shots on goal, seven blocked shots, four hits and 10 PIM across 11 appearances this season. Due to Wilsby's absence, Nick Blankenburg will stay in the lineup.
-
Kyle Burroughs D | LA
Kings' Kyle Burroughs: On waivers
Burroughs (upper body) was put on waivers Saturday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Burroughs needs to be healthy to appear on waivers, so it seems he's recovered from the injury that cost him the first month of the 2025-26 campaign. He had three assists and 39 PIM in 33 regular-season outings with the Kings last year. Assuming he clears waivers, he will likely come off injured reserve and could report to AHL Ontario to see playing time.

Zayne Parekh D | CGY
Flames' Zayne Parekh: Healthy scratch Saturday
Parekh will be a healthy scratch against Nashville on Saturday after recovering from an undisclosed ailment, Eric Francis of Sportsnet reports.
Parekh has one assist, 11 shots on goal, four blocked shots and four hits in nine appearances this campaign. If he plays in one more NHL game, it will burn the first season of his entry-level deal. As a result, the Flames may decide to assign him to OHL Saginaw.
-
Wyatt Aamodt D | COL
Avalanche's Wyatt Aamodt: Dropped to AHL
Aamodt was assigned to AHL Colorado on Saturday.
Aamodt was a healthy scratch for Friday's 4-2 win over Vegas. He hasn't appeared in an NHL game yet this season, but he has one goal and five assists in nine AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

Oskar Back C | DAL
Stars' Oskar Back: Returns to action Saturday
Back (upper body) will return to the lineup Saturday in Florida, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Back missed a pair of games with the injury. The 25-year-old also sat out the first eight games of the campaign. In Back's lone appearance this season, he scored a goal against Nashville on Sunday. Look for him to see middle-six time Saturday.
