Erik Gudbranson D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Erik Gudbranson: Remains out for Wednesday's game
Gudbranson (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Maple Leafs, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Gudbranson sat out Tuesday's game against the Sabres after experiencing hip soreness during warmups, and he'll remain sidelined for the second half of the back-to-back set. Jake Christiansen will remain in the lineup Wednesday, while Gudbranson's next opportunity to play will be Saturday against the Blues.

Cale Makar D | COL
Avalanche's Cale Makar: Sets up four goals Tuesday
Makar had four power-play assists in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Devils.
Makar became the first player in franchise history, either as the Avalanche or the Nordiques, to have three four-assist performances in his career as a member of the franchise. Makar is currently riding a five-game point streak, tallying one goal and seven helpers over that stretch. His 12 assists tie him for third in the league with William Nylander, behind only Nick Suzuki (14) and Evgeni Malkin (13).

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Nets goal Tuesday
Hamilton scored a goal, had two shots on net and posted a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Avalanche.
Hamilton scored his fourth goal of the season with a backhander at the 11:48 mark of the second period. He has three goals and an assist over his last three appearances. The veteran defender is beginning to turn things around after a slow start to the campaign. He has four goals, one helper, 26 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 12 hits through 10 appearances.

Ben Chiarot D | DET
Red Wings' Ben Chiarot: Finds twine in win
Chiarot scored a goal and dished out three hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Chiarot scored his first goal of the season midway through the first period to tie the game at 1-1. The 34-year-old blueliner is up to three points, 20 hits and 17 blocks through 10 appearances this year. While he doesn't chip in much offensively, he has provided 100-plus blocks, 100-plus hits and 100-plus shots in three straight seasons. Chiarot's category coverage could provide decent value in deeper fantasy leagues.

Moritz Seider D | DET
Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Ends drought with helper
Seider dished out a power-play assist and put two shots on net in Tuesday's 5-2 win over St. Louis.
After experiencing a five-game point drought, Seider got back on the scoresheet with the primary helper on Alex DeBrincat's power-play goal. Following Tuesday's performance, the 24-year-old Seider is up to three assists, 22 shots on net, 21 hits and 14 blocks through 10 games this season. Seider has struggled offensively early in the year but has maintained strong category coverage. He is on pace for another 200-hit, 100-block season. He has hit the 40-point mark in four consecutive seasons and should improve his offensive totals as the season progresses.

Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Nets goal against Chicago
Sanderson scored a goal in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Blackhawks.
Sanderson scored Ottawa's first goal at the 4:58 mark of the second period. He remains a valuable offensive contributor for the Senators, accounting for two goals and 10 points through 11 appearances this season. He's on a run of three straight games with at least one point, tallying one goal and four helpers over that stretch.

Brian Dumoulin D | LA
Kings' Brian Dumoulin: Notches first assist
Dumoulin logged an assist and four blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.
Dumoulin earned his first point as a King when he set up Drew Doughty in the second period. The 34-year-old Dumoulin has seen top-four usage early in 2025-26, including a spot alongside Doughty at even strength in recent contests. For the season, Dumoulin has 13 shots on net, 11 hits, 16 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 11 appearances.

Joel Edmundson D | LA
Kings' Joel Edmundson: Offers pair of helpers
Edmundson logged two assists and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.
Edmundson has picked up the pace with four helpers over his last three games. The 32-year-old defenseman won't be able to sustain that level of offense for long, but it has been enough for him to see his ice time bounce back recently. He's at five assists, 10 shots on net, 14 hits, nine blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-6 rating through 11 appearances in a bottom-four role as a shutdown defender.
-
Drew Doughty D | LA
Kings' Drew Doughty: Nets first goal of season
Doughty scored a goal, blocked four shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.
Doughty ended a six-game slump with his second-period tally. The 35-year-old defenseman is up to four points, 15 shots on net, seven hits, 17 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating across 11 appearances. He likely won't hit as much as he did earlier in his career, but he can still be a steady source of blocks. The big question is what level of offense he'll ultimately provide -- he had at least 50 points in his last two healthy seasons, but he's well off that pace early in 2025-26.

Brandt Clarke D | LA
Kings' Brandt Clarke: Goal, assist in win
Clarke scored a goal, dished an assist, added two PIM, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.
Clarke set up Corey Perry's opening tally midway through the first period before scoring a goal of his own -- the game-winner -- at 13:20 of the third. Despite the strong game on offense, Clarke saw a season-low 13:22 of ice time, likely a product of the Kings leaking 40 shots on net. The 22-year-old defenseman has five points over his last three games, and he's up to two goals, seven points, 18 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 11 appearances. His spot in the lineup looks fairly safe, but his ice time may continue to fluctuate, as he doesn't have head coach Jim Hiller's full trust yet.
