Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Fuels comeback effort
Montour scored twice on four shots, added an assist, logged two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
This was Montour's second game back after he took of leave of absence to be with his family due to the death of his brother. The defenseman put together a masterful third period Tuesday, helping the Kraken earn a standings point as he accumulated his three points in less than 10 minutes to force overtime. Montour is at two goals, five assists, 18 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 10 hits and a plus-6 rating through six appearances this season. He plays in all situations and can offer all-around production for fantasy managers, though his offense is bound to cool off as the year progresses.

Noah Dobson D | MON
Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Garners two assists
Dobson logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kraken.
This was Dobson's first multi-point effort in a Canadiens uniform. The 25-year-old hasn't been held off the scoresheet in consecutive contests, but his longest streak is just two games. The defenseman is at one goal, six helpers, 19 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 11 appearances. His power-play time has dropped as he plays second fiddle to Lane Hutson, but Dobson is talented enough to remain productive on offense through primarily even-strength contributions.

Adam Fox D | NYR
Rangers' Adam Fox: Dishes two assists in win
Fox recorded two assists and two hits in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Canucks.
Fox collected his third multi-point effort of the season, which is somewhat impressive considering the Rangers have scored multiple goals in just five of their first 11 contests. The 27-year-old defenseman has been partially impacted by the scoring ineptitude around him, but he still has three goals, six helpers, 22 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating so far. He's the Rangers' leader on defense and will continue to play a massive role, so it's no surprise he's heavily involved on the scoresheet.

Jake Walman D | EDM
Oilers' Jake Walman: Adds two more assists
Walman notched two assists and four blocked shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Mammoth.
This was Walman's second two-assist effort in the last four games. The 29-year-old hasn't had to work too hard to shake off the rust after missing six contests with an undisclosed injury to begin the season. The defenseman is at one goal, four assists, five shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through five appearances, and he's handling a top-four role on the Oilers' blue line.

Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Distributes three assists
Bouchard logged three assists, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Mammoth.
Bouchard had one of his better games of the season, helping out on the Oilers' first goal, the equalizer and the empty-netter. The 26-year-old has earned all seven of his points (one goal, six assists) during his active five-game streak. He's also produced 30 shots on net, 16 blocked shots, five hits, eight PIM and a minus-6 rating over 11 contests. Bouchard's offense is fine, and the rest of his numbers should come around over time, as the Oilers haven't been firing on all cylinders in most of their outings.

Ty Emberson D | EDM
Oilers' Ty Emberson: Lights lamp Tuesday
Emberson scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Mammoth.
Emberson's second-period tally put the Oilers ahead 4-3, and it stood as the game-winner. The 25-year-old defenseman has held a steady third-pairing spot in the lineup, but he's been limited to three points in 11 contests, with his goal Tuesday snapping a five-game slump. Emberson has added 11 shots on net, 14 hits, 18 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. That kind of production isn't likely to attract much interest in fantasy unless his offense gets far more consistent.

Charle-Edward D'Astous D | TB
Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Career defining moment at age 27
D'Astous scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-2 win over Nashville.
It was his first NHL goal and stood as the eventual winner. D'Astous jumped into the play, took a pass from Brayden Point on a 3-on-2 and beat Juuse Saros with a wrist shot from the slot. It was the 27-year-old's third NHL game. Nice memory for D'Astous, but he's not a fantasy guy.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Earns pair of points Tuesday
Ekholm scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Mammoth.
Ekholm continued his recent run of strong offense with his first multi-point effort of the season. The 35-year-old blueliner got the Oilers on the board 22 seconds into the middle frame, then assisted on Ty Emberson's go-ahead goal later in the period. Ekholm has earned all six of his points this season over the last six contests. He's added 20 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, nine hits and a minus-4 rating across 11 appearances in a top-four role.

Jack Ahcan D | COL
Avalanche's Jack Ahcan: Drops back to AHL
Ahcan was reassigned to AHL Colorado following Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Devils.
The Avalanche are off until Friday's game in Vegas, so Ahcan will head back to the minors for at least a couple of days. The 28-year-old defenseman earned his first NHL assist -- and second career point -- in Tuesday's victory, which was his second appearance for the Avalanche this season.

Ben Gleason D | MIN
Wild's Benjamin Gleason: Three assists for Iowa
Gleason posted three assists and three shots on goal in AHL Iowa's 4-3 shootout loss to Grand Rapids on Tuesday.
Gleason isn't known for his offense, and he was limited to 18 points in 36 regular-season games between Bakersfield and Lehigh Valley last year. His first season in Iowa is off to a positive start with five points in seven contests, though he also has a minus-6 rating. Gleason has just four games of NHL experience under his belt, and they came in 2018-19, so it would likely take a number of injuries to the Wild's blue line for him to get a call-up.
