Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Two-point night
Faber scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Winnipeg.
Faber benefited from a friendly bounce to pick up his first goal of the season. He later added a power-play assist as Marcus Johansson deflected his slapper past Connor Hellebuyck. After a quiet start, Faber has now produced five points in his last two games. He continues to shoulder a heavy workload on the Minnesota blue line, averaging more than 23 minutes per night, including running the show from the point of the top power-play unit. Faber also fired seven shots on net, and with his offensive game starting to click, he'll continue to be a strong fantasy option when the Wild host Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Logan Stanley D | BUF
Jets' Logan Stanley: Picks up two assists
Stanley dished out a pair of assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota.
Not at all known for his offensive prowess, Stanley picked up a pair of first-period assists in Tuesday night's victory over the Wild. The 6-foot-7 defenseman posted just 14 points in 63 regular-season games in 2024-25, but he has already tallied two goals and four assists in just ten games this time around. While Stanley does provide a steady dose of hits and blocked shots, his offensive production is unlikely to last.

Neal Pionk D | WPG
Jets' Neal Pionk: Picks up two assists
Pionk dished out two assists and logged nearly 25 minutes of ice time in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota.
Pionk snapped a three-game scoring drought with a first-period assist Tuesday in Minnesota. It's been a sluggish start to the season, as he's managed just two assists through 10 games. While he's not known as a premier offensive blueliner, Pionk has surpassed the 30-point mark in six straight regular seasons, suggesting his production should rebound soon. Given his steady minutes and role quarterbacking Winnipeg's second power-play unit, he has a good chance of building on this performance in Thursday's home matchup against Chicago.

Adam Wilsby D | NSH
Predators' Adam Wilsby: Hurt in Tuesday's contest
Wilsby (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Lightning.
Wilsby took just one shift in the second period. The 25-year-old's status is uncertain for Thursday's game in Philadelphia. If he misses time, the Predators will either need to get Roman Josi (upper body) back or insert Nick Blankenburg into the lineup.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Dealing with new injury
Gostisbehere's lower-body injury sustained Tuesday versus the Golden Knights is not related to his previous injury, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Gostisbehere just missed time while on injured reserve, but he's sustained a new lower-body injury. The 32-year-old defenseman doesn't have a timeline to return yet. If he misses time, Mike Reilly will likely rejoin the Hurricanes' lineup.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Hurt again Tuesday
Gostisbehere sustained a lower-body injury and won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Golden Knights.
Gostisbehere was making his return from injured reserve Tuesday, but it was cut short after just 7:19 of ice time. It's unclear if he aggravated his previous injury or sustained a new one. He'll be questionable at best for Thursday's home game against the Islanders.

Thomas Harley D | DAL
Stars' Thomas Harley: Inks long-term extension
Harley signed an eight-year, $84.7 million contract extension with the Stars on Tuesday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.
Harley is now guaranteed to be a part of the Stars' long-term future. The 24-year-old defenseman's deal is front-loaded to some extent. Harley should continue to see top-four minutes and power-play time, making him a rising star in fantasy in the near future.

Erik Gudbranson D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Erik Gudbranson: Out Tuesday
Gudbranson (hip) won't play Tuesday versus the Sabres, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Gudbranson experienced hip soreness during warmups and won't play. He recently missed four games due to a lower-body injury, and it's unclear if these issues are related. His status for Wednesday versus the Maple Leafs has yet to be determined. Jake Christiansen will play in place of Gudbranson.

Bruins' Michael Callahan: Dropped to minors
Callahan was assigned to AHL Providence on Tuesday, according to Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.
The Bruins activated Hampus Lindholm (undisclosed) from injured reserve in a corresponding move. Callahan hasn't earned a point in three NHL outings this season while contributing two shots on goal, six blocked shots and three hits.

In a corresponding move, the Bruins returned Michael Callahan to AHL Providence. After missing eight of the last nine games, Lindholm is poised to return to the lineup against the Islanders on Tuesday.
