  • Adam Wilsby D | NSH

    Predators' Adam Wilsby: Deemed week-to-week

Wilsby (lower body) won't play against Detroit on Monday and is week-to-week.

Wilsby sustained the injury in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Dallas. He has chipped in one goal, 11 assists, 47 shots on net and 37 blocked shots over 45 games this season. Justin Barron will replace Wilsby in Monday's lineup against the Red Wings.

  • Aaron Ekblad D | FLA

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Two helpers in Sunday's loss

Ekblad notched two assists and two hits in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders.

Ekblad snapped an eight-game point drought with this effort, his first multi-point outing since Jan. 10 versus the Senators. He had a hand in Sam Bennett's power-play goal in the first period and Sam Reinhart's tally in the third. Ekblad is up to 23 points, 79 shots on net, 75 hits, 90 blocked shots, 49 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 58 appearances this season while seeing steady top-four minutes.

  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Provides pair of assists

DeAngelo notched two assists and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Panthers.

DeAngelo helped out on goals by Carson Soucy and Anders Lee, with the latter's tally being the game-winner. With four assists over three games since the Olympic break, DeAngelo is rolling. He's still in a top-four role and on the second power-play unit, so there's some value to be had from his offense in certain fantasy formats. The 30-year-old has 28 points (four on the power play), 117 shots on net, 54 blocked shots, 35 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 61 outings this season.

  • Carson Soucy D | NYI

Islanders' Carson Soucy: Pots goal in win

Soucy scored a goal and blocked three shots in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Panthers.

Soucy snapped a six-game point drought with the tally. The 31-year-old defenseman has slotted into a third-pairing role for the Islanders since he was dealt from the Rangers in late January. He's at five goals, 10 points, 46 shots on net, 84 hits, 72 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 55 appearances between the two teams this season.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: First career three-point game

Schaefer scored twice on five shots, added an assist, blocked four shots, went plus-4 and logged two PIM in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Panthers.

This was the first three-point game of Schaefer's career, and he also reached the 20-goal mark with the effort. Hitting 20 goals as a defenseman is already an impressive feat, and it's even more remarkable that he was able to do so as an 18-year-old rookie. He's now at 44 points, 146 shots, 84 blocks, 30 PIM and a plus-14 rating over 61 appearances. Schaefer's already a borderline No. 1 defenseman in standard fantasy formats, and he's only getting started.

  • Blues' Logan Mailloux: Buries goal in win

Mailloux scored a goal on three shots, added three hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Wild.

Mailloux ended a seven-game point drought with the tally, which was just his second goal all season. The 22-year-old defenseman is maintaining a bottom-four role this season, and he's picked up some extra ice time recently while Colton Parayko (back) is sidelined. Mailloux has four points, 44 shots on net, 60 hits, 32 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a minus-19 rating over 45 appearances in his first full NHL campaign.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Slides two helpers in win

Karlsson distributed two power-play assists in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Golden Knights.

Karlsson recorded the primary helper on both of the team's two power-play goals in the second period. With the pair of helpers, he is up to 34 assists, 38 points, 113 shots on net and 47 blocked shots over 54 games this season. The veteran blueliner has three assists across his last two games and will likely remain a key contributor to Pittsburgh's offense with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined for at least four weeks. Karlsson holds solid fantasy value in nearly all formats moving forward.

  • Predators' Jordan Oesterle: Records three assists

Oesterle notched three assists in AHL Milwaukee's 4-3 overtime win over Manitoba on Sunday.

Oesterle was heavily involved in this win. He's earned nine assists during his seven-game streak, but he has gone 11 contests without a goal. The veteran defenseman is up to 31 points in 51 outings, but he's unlikely to be the first in line for a call-up if the Predators' defense needs reinforcements.

  • Wild's Roman Schmidt: Moved in minor-league deal

Schmidt was traded to the Wild from the Flyers in exchange for Boris Katchouk on Sunday.

Schmidt was traded to Philadelphia from Tampa Bay in early December, and he'll be on the move once again just under three months later. He's recorded an assist and 60 PIM over 29 AHL appearances between Lehigh Valley and Syracuse, and he'll report to Iowa following Sunday's transaction.

  • Sam Rinzel D | CHI

Blackhawks' Sam Rinzel: Not playing Sunday

Rinzel (illness) won't play against Utah on Sunday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Rinzel will miss his second straight outing. He has collected two goals, 10 points, 51 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and 28 hits in 32 games this season. Due to Rinzel's absence, Kevin Korchinski will remain in the lineup for Sunday's matchup.
