  • Islanders' Marshall Warren: Makes history in NHL debut

Warren had two assists Saturday in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.

It was his NHL debut, and he made history. Warren is the second defenseman in Isles history to have multiple points in his NHL debut (Rich Pilon, Oct. 6, 1988). He was off to a great start with Bridgeport (AHL) before his call-up. Warren had two goals and three assists in four games there.

  • Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Remains out Saturday

Sandin (upper body) won't play Saturday versus Ottawa, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Sandin also missed Friday's 5-1 win over Columbus. He has two assists in seven appearances this year. His next opportunity to play will come Tuesday in Dallas.

  • Capitals' Declan Chisholm: Scratched Saturday

Chisholm will be a healthy scratch Saturday against Ottawa, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.

Chisholm has an assist in three appearances with the Capitals in 2025-26. Dylan McIlrath will draw into the lineup versus the Senators and likely replace Chisholm on the third pairing.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

    Ducks' Radko Gudas: Unavailable Saturday

Gudas (lower body) won't be in the lineup against Tampa Bay on Saturday, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Gudas has two assists, two PIM, eight shots, 23 hits and 12 blocks in seven outings this season. He left Thursday's 7-5 win over Boston because of the injury. Ian Moore will draw into the lineup Saturday due to Gudas' absence.

  • Predators' Nicolas Hague: Removed from IR

Hague (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

Hague appears to be ready for his Nashville debut after missing the first eight games of the 2025-26 campaign. He had five goals, 12 points, 74 shots on net, 74 blocked shots and 82 hits across 68 regular-season appearances with Vegas in 2024-25. Hague will probably replace Roman Josi (upper body) in Saturday's lineup against the Kings.

  • Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Expected to play

Rielly (undisclosed) is expected to play against Buffalo on Saturday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.

Rielly should be back on the top pairing and the first power-play unit after sitting out Friday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres. He has accounted for two goals, four assists, 20 shots on net, five blocked shots and six hits through seven appearances this season. With Rielly good to go, Dakota Mermis or Philippe Myers will likely come out of the lineup.

  • Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Close to day-to-day

Miller (lower body) is closer to day-to-day than having a long-term issue, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports Saturday.

Miller will be out for a straight game against Dallas on Saturday, but Saturday's update is still encouraging. He has averaged 23:32 of ice time across six appearances this year. Carolina needs more than one blueliner to step up to fill that void, especially with Jaccob Slavin (lower body) unavailable as well. Joel Nystrom logged 16:02 of ice time versus the Avalanche in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win due to Miller's absence.

  • Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Unavailable Saturday

Lindholm (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Saturday's home tilt versus Colorado, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Lindholm will miss his fourth straight game and seventh of his last eight. Lindholm has yet to pick up a point in three games this season, but does have six blocked shots and two shots on goal. He could return as early as Monday in Ottawa.

  • Canucks' Victor Mancini: Promoted from AHL

Mancini was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.

Mancini played four games for the Canucks earlier in the month, going scoreless with four blocked shots and six hits. The Canucks reassigned defenseman Tom Willander in a corresponding move.

  • Canucks' Tom Willander: Sent to AHL

Willander was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.

Willander was a healthy scratch for both games after he was recalled Oct. 20. The 20-year-old was selected 11th overall in the 2023 Draft and has yet to appear in an NHL game. He will get plenty of ice time in Abbotsford and could be recalled later in the season. The Canucks recalled defenseman Victor Mancini in a corresponding move.
