Kris Letang D | PIT
Penguins' Kris Letang: Reaches big milestone Tuesday
Letang collected two power-play assists in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.
With his second helper of the night -- on Justin Brazeau's insurance tally in the third period -- Letang reached 600 career assists, becoming the 20th defenseman in NHL history to reach that plateau. He's also the 10th defender to achieve the milestone with a single team, a list that includes Hall of Fame legends Bobby Orr, Larry Robinson, Denis Potvin and Nicklas Lidstrom. Letang is nearing the end of his career at 38 years of age, but he still has something left in the tank. After being held off the scoresheet through Pittsburgh's first five games of the season, he has three assists in the last two.

Brenden Dillon D | NJ
Devils' Brenden Dillon: Nets goal in win
Dillon scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Dillon has stepped up on offense lately, earning all three of his points this season over the last four games. The 34-year-old's tally at 4:54 of the second period Tuesday ended up being the game-winner as well. In addition to a surprising amount of offense, Dillon has added five shots on net, 16 hits, 11 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. In the long run, he'll settle in as a shutdown defenseman in a bottom-four role, and he'll offer more in the way of physicality than scoring by the end of the campaign.

Cale Makar D | COL
Avalanche's Cale Makar: Opens scoring in overtime loss
Makar scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Mammoth.
Makar's three goals this season have all come in the last four games, and he has a total of five points in that span. The superstar defenseman is at eight points, 20 shots, 12 blocks, seven hits, six PIM and a plus-9 rating through seven outings this season. Just two of those points have come with a man advantage, so it's possible he still has another level to get to as the campaign progresses.

Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Racks up three points
Sergachev scored a goal on four shots and added two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche.
Sergachev had his breakthrough game after starting the season with no points over six contests. His first helper was on Nick Schmaltz's power-play tally in the second period, and the second assist was on Dylan Guenther's game-winner in overtime. Sergachev had 53 points in 77 appearances last season, so it was only a matter of time before he got going on offense. Through seven outings this year, he's added 15 shots on net, 16 blocks, six PIM and a plus-4 rating.

Justin Faulk D | DET
Blues' Justin Faulk: Pots power-play goal
Faulk scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Kings.
Faulk earned his second point of the season, tying the game at 1-1 with a power-play tally. He's been a regular on the second power-play unit as well as the second pairing at even strength to begin 2025-26. Faulk has one goal, one assist, 11 shots on net, nine hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over six appearances. He's reached the 30-point mark in his last 10 full-length seasons, so Faulk has a fairly safe floor for fantasy.

Thomas Chabot D | OTT
Senators' Thomas Chabot: Three-game, four-point streak
Chabot scored a goal in a 3-2 overtime loss to Edmonton on Tuesday.
Chabot fired a point shot through a crowd and past a heavily screened Stuart Skinner. It was Chabot's 72nd career NHL goal. That moved him past Chris Phillips for the third most by a Sens defender. Chabot is riding a three-game, four-point scoring streak (one goal, two assists).

Justin Barron D | NSH
Predators' Justin Barron: Picks up assist in loss
Barron managed an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks.
Barron earned his first point in seven contests when he helped out on a Tyson Jost goal in the first period. The 23-year-old Barron remains in a third-pairing role for now, but he hasn't done much to impress so far. He's supplied four shots on net, 10 blocks, four hits and a minus-1 rating. Barron could be at risk of losing ice time to Nick Blankenburg or Nicolas Hague (upper body) in the near future.

Spencer Stastney D | EDM
Predators' Spencer Stastney: Garners helper in loss
Stastney registered an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks.
The helper was Stastney's first point in seven games this season. The 25-year-old has held down a steady role on the third pairing, though he could be at risk of losing his spot in the lineup once Nicolas Hague (upper body) returns from injured reserve. Stastney has added four shots on net, six blocked shots and a minus-3 rating.

Jake Walman D | EDM
Oilers' Jake Walman: Nets winner in season debut
Walman scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Senators.
It was his season debut after missing six games with an undisclosed injury. Walman beat Ottawa netminder Linus Ullmark over the glove with a slap shot from the slot on a 4-on-3 power play in overtime. He fired two shots and played 18:51 in his return.

Jacob Trouba D | ANA
Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Produces pair of helpers
Trouba notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-4 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.
Trouba made his first scoring contributions of the season by setting up second-period goals for Leo Carlsson and Cutter Gauthier. Through six outings, Trouba has two helpers, a plus-4 rating, five shots on net, 19 hits and 12 blocked shots, and he's yet to take a trip to the sin bin. The 31-year-old defenseman plays an ultra-physical style, which has value in banger leagues, but he's probably not going to be consistent enough on offense to help fantasy managers in standard formats.
