  • Senators' Carter Yakemchuk: Recalled from WHL Calgary

Yakemchuk was called up from WHL Calgary on Saturday.

Yakemchuk was selected seventh overall by Ottawa in the 2024 NHL Draft and managed 17 goals and 49 points across 56 regular-season WHL games in 2024-25. The blueliner added two goals and five assists in playoff contests. He will likely sit during the Senators' playoff run and gain valuable experience.

  • Kings' Joel Edmundson: Slides assist in Game 3 loss

Edmundson provided an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.

Edmundson had been limited to one assist over his previous 10 outings, a span that also saw him miss five games due to an upper-body injury. The defenseman is filling a de facto top-four role as a veteran blueliner for the Kings this postseason. He had 20 points in 73 regular-season outings, matching his career high, so he shouldn't be expected to add much on offense in the playoffs.

  • Kings' Drew Doughty: Earns two points in loss

Doughty scored a power-play goal on four shots, added an assist and went minus-3 in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.

Doughty gave the Kings their first lead of the game at 15:07 of the second period. The defenseman is up to three points, seven shots on net, four blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over three playoff outings. Doughty is handling a large role well, which is especially helpful for the Kings since young blueliners Brandt Clarke and Jordan Spence don't appear to be trusted with significant minutes yet in this playoff run.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Oilers' Jake Walman: Logs assist in win

Walman notched an assist, two shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Friday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 3.

Walman picked up his first point in three playoff contests. The 29-year-old has added three shots on net, five hits, five blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-5 rating. He's seeing time in a top-four role and on the second power-play unit. Walman has scoring potential after a career year of 40 points in 65 regular-season outings between the Oilers and the Sharks.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Scores twice on power play

Bouchard scored two power-play goals on four shots in Friday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 3.

Bouchard put the Oilers up 2-0 in the first period, but it was his second goal of the game at 13:28 of the third that stood as the game-winner. The 25-year-old is up to five points, 10 shots, three blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over three playoff outings. If the Oilers can gain some traction on the power play, Bouchard will continue to have a significant role on offense while seeing top-four minutes defensively as well.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Posts power-play helper

Gostisbehere registered a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Friday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Devils in Game 3.

Gostisbehere got on the scoresheet for the second game in a row, but it was an otherwise lackluster performance for the high-scoring blueliner. He has two points, two shots on net, two hits, four blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over three playoff contests. The 32-year-old should be able to generate strong offense on the first power-play unit throughout the postseason.

  • Simon Nemec D | NJ

Devils' Simon Nemec: First playoff goal secures win

Nemec scored a goal on five shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 3-2 double-overtime win over the Hurricanes in Game 3.

Nemec might not even be in the lineup if the Devils were at full health, but they're missing Luke Hughes (upper body) and Brenden Dillon (lower body) and lost Johnny Kovacevic (undisclosed) early in this game. Even with the pressure of his first playoff run, Nemec stepped up to get the Devils back in this series, scoring 2:36 into the second overtime period to secure the win. He's added two PIM, two hits and two blocked shots over two playoff outings.

  • Devils' Johnny Kovacevic: Injured early Friday

Kovacevic sustained an undisclosed injury in Friday's Game 3 versus the Hurricanes, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Kovacevic was hurt early in the double-overtime contest, which the Devils ultimately won by a 3-2 score. The 27-year-old can be considered day-to-day ahead of Game 4 on Sunday. If Kovacevic can't play, Seamus Casey or Dennis Cholowski would be top options to draw in.

  • Troy Stecher D | TOR

Oilers' Troy Stecher: Not playing Friday

Stecher (undisclosed) is not expected to be in the lineup Friday for Game 3 versus the Kings, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Stecher was on the ice for warmups, which indicates he's getting closer to a return, but it doesn't look like it'll happen Friday. The defenseman is set to miss a fifth straight contest, and he's not guaranteed to have a place in the lineup even when he's cleared to play.

  • Devils' Jonas Siegenthaler: Expected to play

Siegenthaler (lower body) has been activated from long-term injured reserve and is expected to play in Friday's Game 3 versus the Hurricanes, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Siegenthaler is projected to suit up on the third pairing after missing 29 games due to the injury. He'll provide a bit of relief for a blue line that has lost Luke Hughes (upper body) and Brenden Dillon (lower body) to injuries already in the first round.
