Samuel Girard D | PIT
Avalanche's Samuel Girard: Hands out helper Saturday
Girard notched an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Kings.
Girard helped out on Valeri Nichushkin's game-tying tally in the second period, which evened the score at 2-2. This was Girard's first point in two games back after he missed four contests due an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old blueliner is at 24 points, 95 shots on net, 110 blocked shots, 62 hits and a plus-5 rating over 72 appearances. He'll moonlight on the top pairing and first power-play unit again Sunday versus the Ducks, but expect Cale Makar and Devon Toews to retake those roles in the playoffs after both blueliners were rested for the Avalanche's final road trip of the regular season.

Sam Malinski D | COL
Avalanche's Sam Malinski: Bends twine in loss
Malinski scored a goal on four shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Kings.
The Avalanche are down four defensemen between rest and injuries. Malinski stepped up to fill the void, leading the team with 23:46 of ice time in Saturday's contest, which was still close despite the Avalanche's numerous missing pieces. Malinski has scored twice in the last four games, and he has five goals, 14 points, 112 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 57 hits and a plus-9 rating over 75 appearances this season. He'll likely see a big role again in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Ducks.

Brandt Clarke D | LA
Kings' Brandt Clarke: Notches helper Saturday
Clarke logged an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Avalanche.
The absences of Drew Doughty (ankle) and Joel Edmundson (upper body) have allowed Clarke and Jordan Spence to pick up extra ice time. Clarke had yet to do much with the bump in usage until he snapped a five-game slump with his helper Saturday. For the season, the 22-year-old defenseman is at 32 points, 128 shots on net, 117 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 75 appearances.

Colton Parayko D | STL
Blues' Colton Parayko: Scores in return
Parayko scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked five shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kraken.
Parayko was originally doubtful to play Saturday, but he improved enough to get in the lineup a game earlier than expected. The defenseman came through with a game-tying tally at 7:21 of the third period. Now that he's back from a knee injury, the Blues' defense should receive a substantial boost. Parayko's tally also gave him a career-high 36 points, one better than his previous personal best that he achieved three times. He's at 16 goals, 20 assists, 124 shots on net, 145 blocked shots, 92 hits and a plus-9 rating through 63 appearances this season.

Nick Leddy D | SJ
Blues' Nick Leddy: Racks up one of each
Leddy scored a goal and dished an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kraken.
Leddy earned his first multi-point effort of the season with a goal and an assist during a frenetic third period. The defenseman snapped a six-game point drought and is now at two goals and three assists across 30 outings this season. He's added just 21 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating -- the lack of standout production in any category makes Leddy a poor option in most fantasy formats.

Jamie Oleksiak D | SEA
Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Puts up helper in shootout win
Oleksiak recorded an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.
Oleksiak has two assists, nine blocked shots and six hits over his last four outings. The defenseman set up Shane Wright for the game-tying goal midway through the third period. Oleksiak is now at 16 points -- surpassing the 15-point effort he had over 82 games a year ago. He's added 66 shots on net, 34 PIM, 74 hits, 158 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 81 appearances in 2024-25 while occupying a bottom-four role.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Delivers power-play assist
Hughes notched a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild.
Hughes helped out on a Jake DeBrusk tally in the second period. Over six games in April, Hughes has logged five assists, four of which have come on the power play. The star defenseman is up to 75 points (29 on the power play), 182 shots on net, 66 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 66 appearances. He'll finish above a point-per-game pace for the second year in a row, though Cale Makar is the obvious front-runner for the Norris Trophy in 2024-25.

Marcus Pettersson D | VAN
Canucks' Marcus Pettersson: Tallies opening goal Saturday
Pettersson scored a goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild.
Pettersson's first goal as a Canuck came just 3:11 into this game. The defenseman has been trending in the right direction recently with four points and a plus-5 rating over his last five outings. For the season, the 28-year-old has four goals, 29 points, 69 shots on net, 78 hits, 144 blocked shots, 43 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 76 appearances between the Canucks and the Penguins.

Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Sparks comeback Saturday
Faber scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.
Faber has three goals and two assists over his last six games. His offense has picked a good time to return -- he had just one goal over 15 contests in March. The 22-year-old defenseman is up to 10 goals, 29 points, 115 shots on net, 114 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 77 appearances. Faber continues to see heavy minutes as the Wild's top overall blueliner despite failing to replicate his 47-point performance from 2023-24.

Andreas Englund D | NSH
Predators' Andreas Englund: Gathers helper in defeat
Englund notched an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Englund has two helpers over his last nine contests, but he's also gone minus-5 in that span. The 29-year-old has been a fixture on the third pairing when he suits up for the Predators. He's at three points, 17 shots on net, 74 hits, 38 blocked shots and 48 PIM across 34 outings between the Predators and the Kings in 2024-25, offering minimal upside in fantasy.
