  • Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Gets assist but still in slump

Rielly picked up an assist Saturday in a 3-1 win over Los Angeles.

It came on a third-period power play. Rielly has really struggled offensively this season, and he has just 35 points (seven goals, 28 assists) in 73 games. Last season, Rielly delivered 58 points in 72 contests. He's a long way removed from his career mark, which was set in 2018-19, when he recorded 20 goals, 51 assists and 223 shots. You have to trot him out there when he's playing -- you likely invested too much to admit you were wrong back at the draft.

  • Sharks' Jimmy Schuldt: Injured late Saturday

Schuldt was injured in the third period of Saturday's game versus the Rangers, and there was no update on his status after the contest, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Schuldt's injury casts doubt over his availability for Sunday's road game versus the Kings. Miller added that Marc-Edouard Vlasic (upper body) is expected to travel with the Sharks, so he could be the one taking Schuldt's place in the lineup. Schuldt has no points over six NHL appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Back in pre-injury form

Theodore delivered two assists in a 3-1 win over Nashville on Saturday.

Theodore has picked up where he left off pre-injury. He has three assists in three games since his return. He has 51 points (seven goals, 44 assists) in 58 games this season. Theodore still sits in the top-10 scorers (10th) from the blue line despite missing 15 games due to injury. He was on a pace to top 70 points before he got hurt, which would have obliterated his career best of 52 points, which he set in 2021-22.

  • Adam Pelech D | NYI

    Islanders' Adam Pelech: Produces assist

Pelech logged an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Lightning.

The helper was Pelech's first point in six games since he returned from missing a contest due to a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old has continued to play a shutdown role in the Islanders' top four. He's up to 18 points (all assists) with 98 shots on net, 77 blocked shots, 70 hits, 28 PIM and a plus-4 rating across 51 appearances this season. Pelech can aid fantasy managers chasing physical categories, and he may even chip in a point here or there.

  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Manages power-play assist

Lohrei logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Red Wings.

Lohrei was a game-time decision due to an illness, and he ended up playing just 16:44 in the contest, his lowest ice-time total since Dec. 21 versus the Sabres. Despite likely not being 100 percent, Lohrei was able to chip in a helper on Morgan Geekie's second-period tally. For the season, Lohrei is up to 30 points (14 on the power play), 83 shots on net, 92 blocked shots and a minus-34 rating over 69 appearances. While his offense is intriguing for a blueliner, his all-around game could still use some refinement.

  • Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Registers power-play assist

Seider logged a power-play assist in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Bruins.

Seider has five points over 14 games in March, all of which have come on the power play. He's added a minus-6 rating, 31 hits and 33 blocked shots while playing his usual role on the top pairing. The defenseman has reached the 40-point mark for the fourth time in his four-year career, and he's added 147 shots on net, 190 hits, 166 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 73 appearances. He's also set a new personal best in power-play points with 22 as the Red Wings continue to be a force in that situation.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Five points in last two games

Hedman put up two assists Saturday in a 5-3 win over the Islanders.

He also blocked two shots. Hedman has five points, including four assists, in his last two games. He has 59 points (13 goals, 46 assists) in 71 contests this season. One more point and Hedman will record his fifth 60-point season.

  • Islanders' Tony DeAngelo: Four-game, six-point streak

DeAngelo scored a goal Saturday in a 5-3 loss to the Lightning.

His goal was the third scored by the Islanders in a 2:49 span of the third. DeAngelo is riding a five-game, six-point streak (two goals, four assists) with 13 shots. He has eight points, including six assists, in his last seven outings. DeAngelo has lived up to expectations offensively, earning four goals and 16 points through 25 contests this season. He's a solid play until the season's end.

  • Ryan Pulock D | NYI

Islanders' Ryan Pulock: First power-play goal of season

Pulock scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

Pulock wired a slap shot from the point that got past Jonas Johansson at 5:58 of the third period, earning him his first power-play goal this season. Pulock is better known for his blocking -- he has 143 on the season after a four-block effort Saturday. He has 20 points (five goals, 15 assists), 87 shots and 80 hits in 65 games this season.

  • Lightning's Nick Perbix: Three-game point streak

Perbix scored a goal Saturday in a 5-3 win over the Islanders.

Perbix scored from the right circle off a loose puck in front at 7:31 of the first period. He's not much of an offensive producer, but Perbix is quietly on a three-game point streak, earning one goal and two assists. He has four points, including three assists, in his last five appearances. He doesn't deliver in secondary categories (61 blocks, 58 shots and 49 hits; 65 games), so he's a classic better-on-the-ice defender than in the fantasy arena.
