  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Climbing all-time scoring list

Hedman had two goals and an assist in a 6-2 win over Columbus on Tuesday.

Hedman made it 4-1 in the second period with a point from the left circle that sailed over Elvis Merzlikins' glove. His second was a one-timer from the point on a third-period power play to put the Bolts up 5-2. It was a milestone night for the defender -- Hedman passed Rob Blake for 20th in points by a defenseman in NHL history (778).

  • Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Picks up power-play helper

Ekholm registered a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Ducks.

Ekholm was just one of four Edmonton skaters to maintain an even plus-minus rating in the blowout loss. The 34-year-old defenseman also snagged a helper on Leon Draisaitl's first-period tally. With five points over his last nine games, Ekholm's doing alright on offense -- it's fairly typical production for a top-four defenseman, though Ekholm is typically stronger in his own zone. For the season, the Swede has 27 points (six on the power play), 134 shots on net, 86 blocked shots, 39 hits and a plus-10 rating over 60 appearances.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Draws power-play assist

Bouchard recorded a power-play assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Ducks.

Bouchard's offense has dipped since the 4 Nations Face-Off break -- he has just three points, all on the power play, over his last six games. The 25-year-old is also sporting a minus-8 rating in that span, a stretch in which the Oilers as a whole have won just once. For the season, Bouchard is at 10 goals, 37 helpers, 19 power-play points, 180 shots on net, 87 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating across 61 outings.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Keeps rolling with three assists

LaCombe notched three assists, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-5 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Oilers.

LaCombe had the best game of his young career in this contest, which extended his point streak to six games as well. He has two goals and seven helpers in that span. The 24-year-old was a key part of the Ducks' build-up throughout the matchup, though he was also on the ice for one of the Oilers' two power-play tallies. LaCombe continues to impress as Anaheim's top blueliner, earning 11 goals, 22 assists, 111 shots on net, 90 blocked shots, 45 hits and a plus-9 rating over 53 outings this season. He's not the strongest multi-category blueliner, but the offense alone should be enough to land him on most fantasy rosters.

  • Luke Hughes D | NJ

Devils' Luke Hughes: Helps out twice on power play

Hughes logged two power-play assists, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.

Hughes assisted on goals by Timo Meier and Nico Hischier during the Devils' comeback push. The 21-year-old Hughes had a bit of a rough game on defense, but he's been steady on offense with six helpers across his last five games. The blueliner is up to 28 points (eight on the power play), 85 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 54 outings this season.

  • Brett Pesce D | NJ

Devils' Brett Pesce: Nets rare goal

Pesce scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.

Pesce was posterized after failing to block Ilya Lyubushkin's first goal in nearly two years on an odd-man rush in the second period. There was a little redemption for Pesce when he scored at 15:52 of the third to tie the game at 3-3, ending his own 30-game goal drought, but the Devils would give up a goal late to end up with nothing from their road-trip finale. It's been an unremarkable first season with the Devils for Pesce, who has two goals, 10 assists, 73 shots on net, 107 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 54 outings overall.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Five assists in last seven games

Mukhamadullin had two assists Tuesday in a 6-2 win over the Sabres.

Mukhamadullin has three assists in his last two games and five in seven contests since the 4 Nations Face-Off. It's a solid stretch for the young defender, who had just one goal in his first 12 games this season. Mukhamadullin also has 10 blocks and nine hits in those seven games. He is a terrific skater who gets himself out of trouble with the puck, and he isn't afraid to use his big frame to rub guys out or lay them out. However, Mukhamadullin's fantasy value in the future remains to be seen.

  • Jake Walman D | EDM

Sharks' Jake Walman: Career season continues

Walman had two assists in a 6-2 win over Buffalo on Tuesday.

His breakout season continues. Walman has 32 points, including 26 helpers, and 125 shots in 50 games this season. His average ice time is up significantly -- more than three minutes a night -- from last season in Detroit (23:11 vs. 19:46). His minus-1 rating is also impressive on a team with a minus-68 goal differential in 2024-25. Walman's career season feels like lightning in a bottle, but at the same time, we can't deny his value right now.

  • Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Breaks out moves for goal

Lyubushkin scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Lyubushkin went coast-to-coast for the Stars' second tally, finishing with a snipe over a sliding Brett Pesce that evaded Jacob Markstrom's save attempt. The 30-year-old Lyubushkin had gone nearly two years without a goal, his last coming March 15, 2023, as a member of the Sabres in a game against the Capitals. He's up to 12 points this season, three shy of his career high from the 2021-22 campaign. He's added 36 shots on net, 68 hits, 98 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 59 appearances.

  • Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Three points in last three games

Liljegren had a goal and an assist in a 6-2 victory over Buffalo on Tuesday.

The defender has two goals and an assist in his last three games after going 15 outings without a goal (one assist). Liljegren hasn't exactly taken off offensively since he arrived in San Jose -- he has just six goals and six assists in 49 games. It's hard to tell if this little run is a sign of his game consolidating, or whether it's simply luck.
