Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Bags apple in win
Hamilton notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Canadiens.
Hamilton has two helpers over his last five games, a slowdown on offense after he produced nine points over 10 contests from Jan. 6-27. The defenseman is up to 36 points, 161 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 64 hits and a plus-8 rating through 57 appearances this season. He continues to see key minutes in the offensive zone, so he's a reliable fantasy blueliner.

Erik Gustafsson D | DET
Red Wings' Erik Gustafsson: Goes cold on offense
Gustafsson went an 11th straight game without a point in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning.
Gustafsson is minus-7 in that span while seeing time on the third pairing and second power-play unit. The Red Wings' offense has leaned more heavily on the team's top players under head coach Todd McLellan, leaving little chance for Gustafsson to get involved on offense. The veteran blueliner has 13 points, a minus-16 rating, 53 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and 20 PIM through 47 outings this season.

Justin Holl D | STL
Red Wings' Justin Holl: Enters break in slump
Holl was held off the scoresheet for the 14th consecutive game in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Lightning.
Holl went minus-4 with 12 blocked shots in that span. The 33-year-old has settled into a third-pairing role during the absence of Jeff Petry (undisclosed), and barring any trades for defensive reinforcements, Holl should resume playing there when the Red Wings' schedule restarts Feb. 22 versus the Wild. He's unlikely to interest most fantasy managers given his lack of offense -- he has five points with 20 shots on net, 51 blocked shots, 25 hits and a minus-7 rating over 47 outings this season.

Gustav Forsling D | FLA
Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Scoring pace lagging this season
Forsling scored a goal Saturday in a 5-1 win over Ottawa.
Forsling lofted a shot inside the blue line that Linus Ullmark should have had for his first goal in 10 games. Forsling has eight tallies in 57 appearances this season (21 points). He will be lucky to hit the 30-point mark this season after averaging 39 over his previous three campaigns. If it's any consolation, Forsling is pounding pucks at the net and could hit the 200 mark. That may help some fantasy managers.

Owen Power D | BUF
Sabres' Owen Power: Produces helper with man advantage
Power logged a power-play assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Predators.
Power has a helper in five of the last six contests, but this was his first point with the man advantage since Jan. 17 versus the Penguins. The defenseman is up to 29 points, 105 shots on net, 83 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating across 54 appearances. He's earned just two of his points on the power play, but he remains on track for a career year that could end up north of the 40-point mark.
-
Bowen Byram D | BUF
Sabres' Bowen Byram: Another two-point game Saturday
Byram scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Predators.
Byram has two goals and four assists in his last five contests. The defenseman has accounted for seven goals, 29 points, 66 shots on net, 57 hits, 79 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating across 54 appearances this season. He's matched his career high in points he set across 73 games last season, and a successful run to close the campaign could see him end up above the 40-point mark.
-
Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: One of each Saturday
Dahlin scored a goal, added an assist, went plus-2 and levied three hits in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Predators.
Dahlin scored to tie the game at 2-2 late in the first period and also helped out on an Alex Tuch tally in the second. With four multi-point efforts and 11 points over his last nine outings, Dahlin is in a bit of a groove. His goal was his first since Nov. 23, snapping a 24-game drought in which he racked up 21 helpers. The 24-year-old blueliner has seven goals, 35 assists, 118 shots on net, 57 hits, 68 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 46 appearances this season.
-
Luke Schenn D | BUF
Predators' Luke Schenn: Dishes out pain Saturday
Schenn notched 11 hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Sabres.
His point drought is up to eight games, but Schenn dished out three more hits than he had in any other appearance this season. The 35-year-old blueliner is at an even 200 hits through 54 contests, ranking fifth in the league. He's added four points, 58 shots on net, 69 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a minus-8 rating.
-
Roman Josi D | NSH
Predators' Roman Josi: Logs power-play assist
Josi notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Sabres.
Josi has two helpers over his last three contests, and this was his first power-play point since Jan. 23. The defenseman is up to 37 points, 145 shots on net, 87 blocked shots and a minus-25 rating across 50 appearances. He's not been at his usual level in any area, but he's still a high-scoring option on the blue line for fantasy managers.

Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Injured Saturday
Montour (upper body) won't finish Saturday's game versus the Flames.
Montour was injured in the first period and was unable to return. The 30-year-old defenseman's injury comes at a decent time -- the Kraken don't play again until Feb. 22 versus the Panthers, so he shouldn't miss any additional time if it's a short-term issue. If it ends up being a more serious injury, the Kraken will likely need to call up a defenseman, though they could fill the gap if Ryker Evans (upper body) gets healthy during the break.
