Ryan Suter D | STL
Blues' Ryan Suter: Collects assist in loss
Suter notched an assist in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Panthers.
Suter ended an 11-game point drought with the helper. He's continued to play in a third-pairing role, as Nick Leddy (lower body) is back but Tyler Tucker (upper body) is out. Suter may face some pressure for his place in the lineup down the stretch, but it's more likely Tucker is the one who settles in as the seventh defenseman. Suter has 10 points, 42 shots on net, 64 blocked shots, 30 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 55 appearances.

Robert Bortuzzo D | UTA
Hockey Club's Robert Bortuzzo: Will miss next two games
Bortuzzo (lower body) will miss Saturday's clash in Carolina and Sunday's tilt in Washington, per Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Bortuzzo will participate in practices while traveling with the team, so even if he's not ready to return, at least he's making progress. After the weekend games, Utah will be on break for the 4 Nations Face-Off and return Feb. 22 versus the Kings. Bortuzzo, who last played Jan. 2, has two assists, 20 hits and 26 blocks in 16 appearances this campaign.

Sean Durzi D | UTA
Hockey Club's Sean Durzi: Making progress, but not ready
Durzi (shoulder) is traveling with Utah HC for the sake of participating in the team's practices, but he'll still miss Saturday and Sunday's games in Carolina and Washington, respectively, according to Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
After those two clashes, Utah will be on break for the 4 Nations Face-Off and return Feb. 22 versus the Kings. Durzi, who hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 14, will likely serve in a top-four capacity once he's healthy.

Ilya Lyubushkin D | DAL
Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Unavailable Friday
Lyubushkin (undisclosed) will miss Friday's tilt against the Kings, according to Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.
Lyubushkin is also unlikely to play Saturday in San Jose, but he hasn't been ruled out for that clash. He has 11 assists, 16 PIM, 62 hits and 82 blocks in 53 outings in 2024-25. Brendan Smith is set to draw into the lineup due to Lyubushkin's absence.

Tyler Tucker D | STL
Blues' Tyler Tucker: Not available for Saturday
Tucker (upper body) will not play versus Chicago on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Tucker has missed the last two games and with the Blues off until Feb. 22 after Saturday's tilt, it makes sense to give the defenseman the extra time off. Tucker has two goals and four points over 19 contests this season.

Santeri Hatakka D | NJ
Devils' Santeri Hatakka: Designated for waivers
Hatakka (shoulder) was placed on waivers by the Devils on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Hatakka has been out with a shoulder injury suffered during the preseason but appears ready to play. Even prior to getting hurt, the young blueliner was likely to start the season in the minors with AHL Utica. Last year, in 48 games for the Comets, Hatakka generated five goals and 15 assists. Once he gets his legs back under him, the Finn should be on the short list of potential call-ups for the rest of the year.

Jared Spurgeon D | MIN
Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Slides helper in win
Spurgeon logged an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Spurgeon continues to look good in a second-pairing role since his return from a lower-body injury. He's earned five points over eight contests since rejoining the lineup. For the season, the 35-year-old defenseman has 18 points, 71 shots on net, 68 blocked shots, 31 hits and a plus-4 rating over 40 outings. He won't add a lot of physicality, but his offense makes him a solid depth blueliner in fantasy.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Draws helper Thursday
Bogosian earned an assist, three hits and two PIM in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Bogosian has just two helpers over his last 11 games. The 34-year-old filled a larger role while the Wild were dealing with numerous injuries on defense, but the team is at full health on the blue line again, leaving Bogosian to play on the third pairing. The veteran has 12 points, 58 shots on net, 59 hits, 61 blocked shots, 33 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 55 appearances this season.

Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Earns helper Thursday
Brodin logged an assist in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Hurricanes.
This was Brodin's second game back from a lower-body injury that cost him 12 contests. The Wild have been cautious with the 31-year-old blueliner -- he is averaging 22:56 of ice time this season, but he hasn't broken 19 minutes in either of his two appearances since returning to action. Brodin has 17 points, 54 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 33 outings. With both of Brock Faber and Jared Spurgeon healthy, it's unlikely Brodin will see much power-play time.

Jordan Harris D | BOS
Blue Jackets' Jordan Harris: Nabs helper in overtime loss
Harris provided an assist and two hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Utah.
Since earning an assist Jan. 4 versus the Blues, Harris has been scratched in 11 of 15 contests. The 24-year-old defenseman has been unable to claim a regular role in the Blue Jackets' lineup, though he often plays when they suit up with seven blueliners. Harris is at four points, 13 shots on net, 19 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 28 appearances.
