Jamie Oleksiak D | SEA
Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Contributes assist in win
Oleksiak managed an assist, four shots on goal and six blocked shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.
With two goals and four assists over his last 11 outings, Oleksiak has been unusually productive in January. He was back in a top-four role Thursday due to the absence of Ryker Evans (upper body). Oleksiak is at 13 points, 47 shots on net, 112 blocked shots, 40 hits and a minus-4 rating through 53 appearances. His offense can disappear as fast as it shows up sometimes, so Oleksiak should only be rostered in fantasy formats where managers can take advantage of his defensive work.

Vince Dunn D | SEA
Kraken's Vince Dunn: Assist, fight in win
Dunn notched an assist and five PIM in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.
Dunn helped out on an Oliver Bjorkstrand tally in the second period and dropped the mitts with Henry Thrun later in the frame. Dunn isn't an overly pugnacious player, but he's not afraid to mix it up when he sees fit. The 28-year-old blueliner has four points over his last six games, and he's at 10 goals, 13 helpers, 77 shots on net, 21 PIM, 21 hits and 40 blocked shots through 33 outings this season.

Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Double dips to end goal drought
Montour scored twice and blocked three shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.
Montour had been limited to five assists and a minus-13 rating over his last 20 outings. He snapped the goal drought at 2:54 of the second period with what was ultimately the game-winner, and he added a power-play tally after the Sharks brought in Alexandar Georgiev to replace Yaroslav Askarov. Despite the poor play over the last six weeks, Montour remains in a top-four role and still has good numbers overall. He's at 10 goals, 27 points, 147 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 57 hits, 35 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 52 appearances.

Nicolas Hague D | NSH
Golden Knights' Nicolas Hague: Assists in consecutive contests
Hague logged an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
Hague was quiet for the bulk of January, opening the month with a goal and then going 12 games without a point before closing it out with a helper in back-to-back contests. The 26-year-old assisted on Tomas Hertl's first-period tally Thursday. Hague is up to seven points, 48 shots on net, 53 hits, 42 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 41 appearances this season.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Collects assist in win
Werenski notched an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Werenski was involved in a flurry of activity, getting a touch on the puck before Cole Sillinger potted the game-winning goal 52 seconds into overtime. The helper extended Werenski's point streak to four games, though he has gone seven contests since his last multi-point effort. Consistency has been a huge part of Werenski's profile this year -- he's yet to go more than three games without a point. The 27-year-old defenseman is at 16 tallies, 39 helpers, 192 shots on net, 90 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 51 outings.

Jackson LaCombe D | ANA
Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Contributes helper
LaCombe logged a shorthanded assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Flames.
LaCombe earned his first shorthanded point of the season when he set up a Frank Vatrano tally in the first period. The 24-year-old LaCombe is playing a large role in all situations this season, and he's done a good job to emerge as arguably the top defenseman on Anaheim's roster. He's now at 24 points, 90 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 33 hits and a plus-4 rating through 44 appearances.

Joel Hanley D | CGY
Flames' Joel Hanley: Produces assist in win
Hanley logged an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Hanley snapped a seven-game point drought. Coincidentally, his last contribution also came against the Ducks in a two-assist effort Jan. 7. The 33-year-old blueliner is filling in as a top-four option while Kevin Bahl (upper body) is on the shelf. Hanley won't be much of a factor in fantasy -- he has just three assists with 18 shots on net, 37 blocked shots, 20 hits and a plus-4 rating over 23 appearances.

Jake Bean D | CGY
Flames' Jake Bean: Adds assist in win
Bean notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Bean has a helper in two of the last three games. That follows his one-game stint as a healthy scratch Jan. 25 versus the Wild, so it looks like the 26-year-old got the message to step up his play. His 20:25 of ice time Thursday was his most in any contests this season. The blueliner has seven points, 39 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 36 appearances -- he's unlikely to put up enough in any area to help fantasy managers.

Jayden Struble D | MON
Canadiens' Jayden Struble: Fills in for Guhle
Struble blocked one shot and had one hit in Thursday's 4-0 loss to Minnesota.
Struble, who was on a conditioning assignment at AHL Laval, was called up Thursday and should take regular shifts on the third pairing for a stretch. He's taking over for the injured Kaiden Guhle, who is set to miss an indefinite amount of time after undergoing surgery Wednesday to repair a lacerated quadricep muscle. Struble has two goals and three assists over 26 outings.

Matt Roy D | WAS
Capitals' Matt Roy: Bags apple Thursday
Roy tallied an assist and dished out two hits during Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Despite missing 10 games with a lower-body injury, Roy has still managed a healthy two goals and 12 points in 41 games which would put him in line for another 25-plus season if he can keep up this pace the rest of the way. The 29-year-old has been an invaluable defensive presence for the Capitals, but a lack of offensive upside limits his fantasy value.
