Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Shifts to LTIR
Brodin (lower body) was moved to long-term injured reserve Tuesday.
Brodin isn't expected back until at least after the team's upcoming four-game road trip, so this move to LTIR isn't expected to impact his recovery timeline. Prior to his absence, the 31-year-old blueliner was rolling with points in four straight games in which he notched one goal, four assists and six shots. With the cap savings, the Wild figure to bring an extra forward up from the minors for the trip.

Matt Grzelcyk D | CHI
Penguins' Matt Grzelcyk: Lends helper in loss
Grzelcyk notched an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Sharks.
Grzelcyk continues to chip in on offense with four helpers over his last six games. He also has eight shots on net and three blocked shots in that span. The 31-year-old has held down a top-four role for much of the season, and he's matched his career high with 26 points through just 52 contests. Grzelcyk has added 63 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating, and he has a career-best 10 power-play points.

Vince Dunn D | SEA
Kraken's Vince Dunn: Scores in loss
Dunn scored a goal on five shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers.
Dunn has scored in back-to-back games and has seven points over 13 outings in January. He's also gone minus-6, and his minus-7 rating for the season is his lowest since he went minus-21 in 2021-22. The defenseman has 22 points, 68 shots on net, 39 blocked shots and 21 hits over 31 appearances this season. Dunn remains on the top pairing and first power-play unit and remains a decent middle-of-the-roster option for fantasy.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Pair of points in win
Ekholm scored an empty-net goal on six shots, added an assist and blocked two shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
This was Ekholm's first multi-point effort since Dec. 31. The defenseman has four points over his last three games, a much better pace than his start to January (one assist over 10 contests). For the season, he's at seven goals, 22 points, 117 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and a plus-20 rating over 50 appearances while filling a top-four role.

Colton Parayko D | STL
Blues' Colton Parayko: Sets career high in goals
Parayko scored a goal on four shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks.
Parayko is up to five goals and two assists over 12 outings in January. The 31-year-old continues to impress on offense even with limited usage on the power play -- he saw 56 seconds with the man advantage Monday after receiving no power-play time over the previous three contests. Parayko is up to a career-high 11 goals while adding 17 assists, 100 shots on net, 80 hits, 122 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 51 appearances. Parayko's 28 points are his most in any of the last three seasons, and he's in an excellent position to surpass his career high of 35 points, a mark he's reached on three separate occasions.

Vincent Desharnais D | SJ
Canucks' Vincent Desharnais: Starting to lose playing time
Desharnais was scratched for the third time in eight games when he sat out Monday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Desharnais hasn't done anything to help his case to stay in the lineup. The Canucks are now giving Elias Pettersson a taste of NHL action on the third pairing. Desharnais has gone 12 games without a point, racking up 22 hits, 19 PIM and 16 blocked shots in that span. For the season, the 28-year-old is at three assists, 54 hits, 48 blocks, 34 PIM and 20 shots on net through 34 appearances. Desharnais may face further pressure for playing time once Noah Juulsen (undisclosed) can return from injured reserve.

Kevin Bahl D | CGY
Flames' Kevin Bahl: Remains unavailable
Bahl (undisclosed) is still being evaluated and won't play against Washington on Tuesday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Bahl will miss his second straight game but could return to action soon. He has contributed two goals, 12 assists, 51 shots on net, 79 blocked shots and 67 hits across 47 appearances this season. After returning from his AHL conditioning loan, Tyson Barrie will play against the Capitals, and Daniil Miromanov will be a healthy scratch.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Extends streak with two helpers
Hughes logged a pair of assists, including one on the power play, and three shots on goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Hughes has five goals and four assists during his six-game point streak, with three of those outings being multi-point efforts. The 25-year-old defenseman hasn't been overly reliant on the power play in that stretch, earning three points with the man advantage during the streak. He's up to 14 goals, 42 helpers, 133 shots on net and a plus-13 rating over 45 contests this season.

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Stays warm with goal
Hamilton scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers.
Hamilton has played well lately with three goals and six assists over his last 10 games. Two of those nine points have come on the power play. The 31-year-old blueliner began the season with a heavy share of minutes, but the Devils' defense has been virtually fully healthy since late October, and it's a talented group that allows the ice time to be spread around. That's meant Hamilton has averaged 19:15 per game since the start of November compared to 21:51 per game in October. It hasn't hurt his production -- he's earned 34 points, 148 shots on net, 71 blocked shots, 57 hits and a plus-4 rating through 52 appearances this season.

Cam York D | PHI
Flyers' Cam York: Picks up helper
York logged an assist, three shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
York has had a middling January, earning three points with 22 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 13 appearances. He's done well enough to maintain a top-four role, but his offense is likely to remain limited without power-play time. The 24-year-old is up to 12 points, 48 shots on net, 70 blocks and a plus-2 rating across 37 contests this season.
