  • Noah Juulsen D | PHI

Canucks' Noah Juulsen: Not expected to play

Juulsen (undisclosed) isn't expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against Buffalo, according to Ben Kuzma of Postmedia.

Juulsen is day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. It remains unclear when he will be available to return. He hasn't earned a point in 32 appearances this season while collecting 25 shots on goal, 57 blocked shots and 89 hits. Mark Friedman will replace Tyler Myers (suspension) in Tuesday's lineup.

  • Kings' Vladislav Gavrikov: Stuck in drought

Gavrikov's point drought reached 11 games in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Penguins.

In that span, Gavrikov has a minus-6 rating, nine shots on net, seven hits and 21 blocked shots. The 29-year-old defenseman is almost always a steady source of blocks, but this is a poor stretch of play for him. He's at 16 points, 51 shots on net, 89 blocks and a plus-11 rating across 44 appearances. Gavrikov is a virtual lock for top-four minutes, but his role could shrink slightly once Drew Doughty (ankle) is ready to make his season debut, which could happen before the end of January.

  • Penguins' Owen Pickering: Slides helper in Monday's win

Pickering provided an assist and two PIM in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

The helper was Pickering's first point in 10 outings since he returned from a concussion. The 20-year-old blueliner has mostly seen third-pairing minutes since his return, offering limited chances for him to make a large impact in any aspect. He has three points, 13 shots on net, 13 hits, 18 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over his first 24 NHL contests.

  • Penguins' Marcus Pettersson: Puts up assist

Pettersson notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Pettersson has earned four helpers over his last seven games. The 28-year-old typically doesn't generate a lot of offense, instead offering decent all-around production as a shutdown blueliner. For the season, he's at 17 points, 40 shots on net, 50 hits, 76 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 43 appearances.

  • Kris Letang D | PIT

Penguins' Kris Letang: Manages helper Monday

Letang notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Letang picked up his first point over two outings since he missed a game due to an illness. He has just two helpers over eight appearances in January. The 37-year-old blueliner has struggled on offense this season with 18 points, 93 shots on net and a minus-14 rating through 42 contests, and he's added 75 hits and 49 blocked shots.

  • Jets' Dylan Samberg: Deals helper in loss

Samberg notched an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah.

Samberg has picked up two assists, 12 shots on net and 11 blocks over six outings since he returned from a broken foot. The 25-year-old has resumed his role on the second pairing, but he isn't likely to be a big contributor on offense. For the season, Samberg has eight points, 39 shots, 41 blocks, 27 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-13 rating through 27 appearances, offering a little bit of all-around coverage.

  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Hockey Club's Olli Maatta: Gets first goal of season

Maatta scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Maatta broke a scoreless deadlock at 16:00 of the second period when his screened shot got through cleanly to surprise Connor Hellebuyck. The goal was Maatta's first of the season, and he's added three assists over nine outings in January. Overall, the 30-year-old blueliner has nine points, 40 shots on net, 88 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 43 appearances between Utah and Detroit.

  • Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Notches assist in overtime loss

Crevier produced an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.

Crevier has two points over his last four games, and he's also logged at least 20 minutes of ice time in five straight outings. He's often been paired with Alex Vlasic -- it's a young pairing, but interim head coach Anders Sorensen appears to trust both of them together. Crevier is up to three points, 20 shots on net, 37 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 18 appearances. The 23-year-old plays more of a defensive game, so it's unlikely he'll consistently put up offense to become a factor in most fantasy formats.

  • Aaron Ekblad D | FLA

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Remains out Tuesday

Ekblad (upper body) will not be in the lineup versus Anaheim on Tuesday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

At this point, Ekblad should probably be considered a significant doubt to play Wednesday versus the Kings as well -- though he hasn't been officially ruled out. Even when healthy, the blueliner was struggling to produce, going six straight games without a point while contributing 11 shots, 10 hits and six blocks. Tobias Bjornfot figures to be dropped from the lineup once Ekblad is given the all-clear.

  • Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Hands out helper Monday

McNabb provided an assist and five hits in Monday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Blues.

McNabb ended an eight-game point drought with his helper on Brett Howden's second-period tally. The five hits were also a season high for McNabb, who has played a little less physically in 2024-25. He's at eight points, 58 shots on net, 80 hits, 103 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-23 rating through 47 appearances while seeing steady time in a top-four role as a defensive presence.
