  • Oilers' Darnell Nurse: Nabs assist Thursday

Nurse logged an assist, two hits, three blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

Nurse set up a Viktor Arvidsson tally in the first period. With two helpers over his last three contests, Nurse has found a little offense lately, though he's still gotten on the scoresheet in just three of his last 15 games. The defenseman is up to 19 points, 106 shots on net, 73 hits, 72 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 42 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Brett Kulak D | COL

    Oilers' Brett Kulak: Tallies Thursday

Kulak scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

Kulak scored for the first time since Nov. 30, a game which was also in Denver. Over the 20 contests between goals, the defenseman racked up six assists, four of which have been in his last seven outings. For the season, he's matched his career high with six goals while adding 10 assists, 73 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 45 appearances.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Completes comeback Thursday

Bouchard scored a goal on five shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

Bouchard got embarrassed on the Avalanche's third goal of the game. In the end, the 25-year-old blueliner was able to recover, helping out on Connor McDavid's game-tying goal in the second period before scoring the game-winner himself in the third. Bouchard has been steady in January with a goal and six helpers over eight contests. The defenseman has eight tallies, 35 points, 129 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 45 appearances this season.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Hockey Club's Ian Cole: Puts up helper Thursday

Cole notched an assist and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.

Cole had four assists over six outings from Dec. 23 to Jan. 4, but he had been held off the scoresheet in the four subsequent contests. The 35-year-old was able to snap that slump Thursday when he helped out on Matias Maccelli's opening tally 1:01 into the game. Cole is up to 13 points, 44 shots on net, 41 PIM, 52 hits, 127 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 44 appearances in a top-four role this season.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Contributes helper in loss

Sergachev notched an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.

Sergachev had gone three games without a point entering Thursday. That matches his longest drought of the season, which occurred Oct. 19-24. The 26-year-old continues to be a steady producer in a top-pairing role -- he's at 30 points, 72 shots on net, 81 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-11 rating through 44 appearances. Sergachev has reached the 30-point mark in seven of his eight full NHL campaigns, the lone exception being his injury-riddled 2023-24.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Major milestone in win

Hedman put up an assist Thursday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Ducks.

It was a big night for the big defender. Hedman is the fourth defenseman from Sweden to reach 600 NHL assists, joining Nicklas Lidstrom (878), Erik Karlsson (656) and Borje Salming (637). It was his 1,093rd career NHL game, and he became the first Bolt to reach 600 assists and the 19th defenseman in NHL history to reach the mark.

  • Rangers' Urho Vaakanainen: Produces helper in win

Vaakanainen logged an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over Utah.

Vaakanainen has held a third-pairing role since making his Rangers debut Dec. 17, which has largely kept Zac Jones out of the lineup. Vaakanainen hasn't done much on offense with two helpers over 14 contests. He's at three assists, nine shots on net, 22 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 19 appearances between the Rangers and the Ducks this season.

  • Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Posts assist Thursday

Lindgren registered a shorthanded assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over Utah.

Lindgren has four helpers over his last six games. The 26-year-old helped out on Reilly Smith's tally in the third period, which tied the game at 3-3. Lindgren won't add much on offense but continues to offer physicality while seeing top-four minutes. He's at 10 points, 28 shots on net, 50 hits, 77 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 39 appearances.

  • Rangers' Braden Schneider: Collects assist in Thursday's win

Schneider notched an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 win over Utah.

Schneider has two helpers over eight outings in January after logging just one assist in December. The 23-year-old defenseman had a brief foray into the top four on the Rangers' blue line between the team's trades that sent out Jacob Trouba and brought in Will Borgen, who has since jumped Schneider on the depth chart. For the season, Schneider is at 11 points, 59 shots on net, 77 hits, 75 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 44 games. His fantasy appeal is limited in a third-pairing role with minimal power-play time.

  • Adam Fox D | NYR

Rangers' Adam Fox: Helps out on empty-netter

Fox provided an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over Utah.

Fox helped out on Artemi Panarin's empty-netter in the third period. The 26-year-old Fox has six points over his last six games, with three of those points coming on the power play. The star defenseman is up to 34 points, 71 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 44 appearances in his usual roles on the top pairing and first power-play unit.
