  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Garners two assists in win

Chabot notched a pair of assists and two shots on goal in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Kraken.

Chabot has a goal and four helpers over his last four games. The defenseman could get a boost in power-play time if Jake Sanderson (upper body) misses time after leaving Saturday's contest. Chabot has done well in a smaller role this season, earning 27 points (six goals, 21 helpers), 83 shots on net, 90 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 47 outings. He's on pace to reach the 30-point mark for the eighth year in a row.

  • Tyler Kleven D | OTT

Senators' Tyler Kleven: Scores goal before ejection

Kleven scored a goal, added 17 PIM, doled out three hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Kraken.

Kleven tied the game at 1-1 in the first period, just 34 seconds after Jacob Melanson opened the scoring for Seattle. Late in the third period, Kleven's game ended early when he was given a game misconduct for a cross-check to Jared McCann. It's not clear if that play will earn supplemental discipline -- though that would be a problem for the Senators, who lost Jake Sanderson (upper body) earlier in the contest. Kleven snapped a six-game point drought with the goal and now has two tallies, 12 points, 67 shots on net, 47 PIM, 103 hits and 77 blocked shots over 57 appearances.

  • Sean Walker D | CAR

Hurricanes' Sean Walker: Finds twine in loss

Walker scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Flames.

Walker's point streak is up to five games (two goals, four assists). The 31-year-old defenseman continues to make the most of a top-four role. He has six goals, 20 points, 133 shots on net, 100 hits, 96 blocked shots, 51 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 63 appearances. While his offense is hot, he'll have some extra appeal in fantasy, but that value is likely to fade before the end of the campaign.

  • Hurricanes' Alexander Nikishin: Strikes on power play in loss

Nikishin scored a power-play goal, added two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Flames.

Nikishin is in for a short-term boost on the power play while Shayne Gostisbehere (lower body) is sidelined. The goal Saturday ended Nikishin's seven-game point drought, so a few more looks in prime situations may be just what he needs to reignite his offense. The rookie defenseman is at eight goals, 23 points (seven on the power play), 97 shots on net, 109 hits, 70 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 62 outings this season.

  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Flames' Olli Maatta: Nabs assist in Calgary debut

Maatta notched an assist and blocked five shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

Maatta started the game on the third pairing but ended up with 23:54 of ice time after Zach Whitecloud's (upper body) exit. The 31-year-old Maatta should get a better chance to play regularly for the Flames after being a regular scratch for the Mammoth. He's produced just two helpers with 11 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 23 outings this season.

  • Zayne Parekh D | CGY

Flames' Zayne Parekh: First point since return

Parekh logged a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.

With the Flames' blue line torn almost all the way down through the Rasmus Andersson and MacKenzie Weegar trades, it's now Parekh's time to shine on the first power-play unit. He did just that Saturday, setting up a Morgan Frost goal in the second period. Parekh has logged just two helpers with 15 shots on net and nine blocked shots over 18 NHL appearances this season. The 20-year-old's long-term fantasy future is bright, but he needs to show more to be an option in redraft formats.

  • Canucks' Jack Thompson: Three points for new AHL team

Thompson scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Abbotsford's 4-0 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Thompson has five points over two games since he was swapped to the Canucks' organization for Jett Woo on Thursday. Overall, Thompson has just 17 points over 44 appearances in the AHL this season. The 23-year-old blueliner is still young enough to make an impact, especially for a Vancouver team that is lacking in proven NHL options.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Exits Saturday's game

Sanderson sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game versus the Kraken.

Sanderson appeared to be favoring his shoulder after a hit from Brandon Montour. At this point, Sanderson can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. The defenseman is a big part of the Senators' team, so any absence would be damaging for Ottawa and his fantasy managers.

  • Flames' Zach Whitecloud: Hurt in Saturday's game

Whitecloud (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Hurricanes.

Whitecloud took an awkward fall late in the first period and was unable to return. The 29-year-old defenseman can be considered day-to-day for now. The Flames begin a five-game road trip Monday versus the Capitals, so Whitecloud's status should be updated prior to the team heading on the road.

  • Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: First goal since December

McDonagh scored a goal in a 5-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.

It was McDonagh's first goal in 11 games, a span that was interrupted by a five-week injury absence. His last goal came against Carolina on Dec. 20. McDonagh has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 28 appearances this season while adding 42 blocked shots and 26 shots on net.
