  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Tallies lone goal in loss

Lohrei scored a goal, blocked two shots, added two PIM and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning.

The goal was Lohrei's first since Oct. 14 against the Panthers. The 23-year-old defenseman also snapped a five-game point drought. Lohrei has shown flashes of potential on offense this season while earning power-play time, but there are some drawbacks to his defensive play. He has 17 points, 36 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating over 39 appearances. He plays primarily on the third pairing at even strength.

  • Erik Cernak D | TB

Lightning's Erik Cernak: Sends helper Thursday

Cernak logged an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.

Cernak has chipped in three helpers over his last eight games. He doesn't often get on the scoresheet, but he remains in a top-four role as a shutdown defender. For the season, Cernak is at 10 helpers, 30 shots on net, 85 hits, 50 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating across 37 appearances.

  • Lightning's Ryan McDonagh: Two assists help to reach milestone

McDonagh logged a pair of assists, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.

McDonagh helped out on second-period tallies by Anthony Cirelli (shorthanded) and Michael Eyssimont (even strength). The first assist was McDonagh's 400th career point, a mark he achieved in Game No. 967. He ended a five-game slump Thursday, though point production may remain sporadic for the stay-at-home defender. The 35-year-old has a goal, 11 helpers, two shorthanded points, 40 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating over 39 appearances this season. If McDonagh can stay healthy, he's projected to reach the 1,000-game mark late in the campaign.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Islanders' Noah Dobson: Snags helper Thursday

Dobson notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Golden Knights.

The pairing of Dobson and Alexander Romanov was on the ice for the Islanders' last three goals. Dobson has been limited to just two assists over his last seven outings, but he's added 22 shots on net in that span despite being held without one Thursday. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 21 points, 122 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 35 hits and a minus-3 rating through 41 appearances. If the Islanders can get their power play going, Dobson will likely have a strong second half.

  • Islanders' Alexander Romanov: Hands out two helpers in win

Romanov notched two assists, two hits and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Golden Knights.

Romanov has stepped it up on offense with seven assists over his last eight contests. He helped out on second-period tallies by Brock Nelson and Bo Horvat in this game. For the season, Romanov has contributed nine assists, 40 shots on net, 73 hits, 65 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 30 appearances.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

Ducks' Radko Gudas: Grabs helper in loss

Gudas put up an assist and three hits in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Blues.

Gudas has actually been okay on offense lately with a goal and six assists over his last 12 contests. The defenseman helped out on a Sam Colangelo tally in the second period. For the season, Gudas remains a physical force first and foremost with 10 points, 43 shots on net, 42 PIM, 136 hits and 93 blocked shots over 41 appearances.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: On four-game point streak

LaCombe produced an assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Blues.

LaCombe has two goals and two assists during a career-best four-game point streak. The 24-year-old has gotten on the scoresheet in seven of the last eight contests as well, and it's getting harder to ignore his contributions from the Ducks' top pairing. The blueliner is up to a career-high 18 points with 67 shots on net, 55 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 34 appearances. While the plus-minus could fall out at any moment given the Ducks' struggles, LaCombe looks like the real deal on offense.

  • Ryan Suter D | STL

Blues' Ryan Suter: Contributes helper Thursday

Suter posted an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.

Suter has bounced back from an 11-game point drought by earning an assist in each of the last two contests. The defenseman is now at nine points, 34 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 26 hits and a plus-4 rating over 43 outings. Suter is playing on the third pairing and seems likely to maintain his spot in the lineup while Tyler Tucker and Scott Perunovich battle for playing time.

  • Cam Fowler D | STL

Blues' Cam Fowler: Creates assist against former team

Fowler produced an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.

Fowler was celebrated prior to the contest for playing in his 1,000th career game Dec. 31 in the Winter Classic versus the Blackhawks. Fittingly, the ceremony came prior to a contest against the team with which he played his first 990 games. He then set up Jordan Kyrou on what was the game-winning goal. Fowler is at 10 points through 13 outings since he was dealt from Anaheim to St. Louis, and he has a total of 14 points, 39 shots on net, 57 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 31 appearances this season. Fowler's spots in the top four and on the power play with the Blues have restored his fantasy value to the level of a reliable No. 3 or 4 option.

  • Tyler Tucker D | STL

Blues' Tyler Tucker: Finds twine in win

Tucker scored a goal on two shots, doled out five hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.

The goal was Tucker's first point in nine outings at the NHL level this season. The 24-year-old defenseman has added seven shots on net, 16 PIM, 17 hits and a plus-2 rating while taking on third-pairing minutes in the ongoing absence of Nick Leddy (lower body). Once Tucker plays in one more game, he will have to pass through waivers if the Blues opt to send him back to AHL Springfield. His lack of offense makes him a non-factor in most fantasy formats.
