  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Nets overtime winner

Harley scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.

Harley scored at 3:01 of overtime to secure the win for the Stars. He had gone eight games without a goal and missed two contests due to an illness in that span. The 23-year-old defenseman has five goals, 18 points, 79 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating over 36 appearances. He hasn't quite replicated his 47-point breakout from the 2023-24 regular season, but Harley continues to log big minutes in all situations.

  • Nick Jensen D | OTT

Senators' Nick Jensen: Dealing with illness

Jensen (illness) was absent from Sunday's practice, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Jensen still could be available for Tuesday's game versus Detroit. He has two goals, 13 points, 45 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and 37 hits in 38 appearances this season. With Travis Hamonic (lower body) unavailable, Ottawa may recall a blueliner from the minors as insurance for Jensen.

  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Manages assist in Saturday's loss

Pionk produced an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.

This was Pionk's second helper in his last three games. The 29-year-old defenseman hasn't gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive outings since a three-game streak from Nov. 29 to Dec. 3. He's up to 28 points, 67 shots on net, 68 blocked shots, 60 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 41 outings in a second-pairing role. Pionk would have to go through a brutal slump to fall shy of earning the second 40-point campaign of his career.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Deposits goal Saturday

Morrissey scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Morrissey ended a nine-game goal drought with his second-period tally. He wasn't slumping during that stretch, racking up eight assists and a plus-6 rating as he continues to lead the way on the Jets' blue line. For the season, the 29-year-old defenseman has four goals, 33 assists, 83 shots on net, 65 blocked shots, 27 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 41 contests.

  • Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Reaches 20-assist mark

Seider racked up three assists, including two on the power play, in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Jets.

Seider also had three shots on net and four blocked shots in the win. He's gotten on the scoresheet in eight of the last 12 games, racking up two goals and nine assists in that span. The 23-year-old defenseman has four goals, 24 points (nine on the power play), 73 shots on net, 97 hits, 91 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 39 outings overall. He's tracking toward a career year on offense and remains a strong all-around producer for fantasy purposes.

  • Hockey Club's Kevin Connauton: Sent back to minors

Connauton was reassigned to AHL Tucson on Sunday, per the NHL media site.

Utah claimed Nick DeSimone off waivers from New Jersey in a corresponding move. Connauton was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Dallas. He has five goals and nine points in 24 AHL appearances this season.

  • Jonas Brodin D | MIN

Wild's Jonas Brodin: Adds assist Saturday

Brodin notched an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Hurricanes.

Brodin helped out on a Matt Boldy goal in the third period. With two goals and four assists over his last six games, Brodin has been chipping in more offense than usual while also seeing massive minutes in the absence of Jared Spurgeon (lower body) over the last two contests. Brodin is up to 15 points, 54 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 30 appearances. He's unlikely to help on the power play, but the 31-year-old defenseman is on pace for just the second 30-point campaign of his career.

  • Hockey Club's Nick DeSimone: Claimed by Utah

DeSimone was claimed off waivers by Utah on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

DeSimone was waived by the Devils on Friday after posting a goal, two points and a plus-7 rating over 11 games. The 30-year-old DeSimone will likely compete for a third-pairing role on Utah's blue line.

  • Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Lands on IR

Gostisbehere (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.

Carolina recalled Juha Jaaska from AHL Chicago in a corresponding move. Gostisbehere has missed the last four games, and it's unclear when he will be available to return. He has accounted for six goals, 27 points, 66 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and 30 hits across 35 appearances this season. Ty Smith has been playing during Gostisbehere's absence.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Murphy: Remains sidelined

Murphy (groin) won't play Sunday against the Rangers, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Murphy will miss a second straight game while recovering from a groin injury. Wyatt Kaiser will remain on Chicago's top pairing alongside Seth Jones while Murphy is sidelined. The 31-year-old blueliner's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against Colorado.
