Adam Pelech D | NYI
Islanders' Adam Pelech: First helper since return
Pelech produced an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Penguins.
Pelech earned his first point in six games since he returned from a jaw injury. The 30-year-old defenseman has seen steady top-four minutes as usual in that span, but he has a minus-1 rating with nine hits and 10 blocked shots since his return. Overall, Pelech is at five assists, 35 shots on net, 26 hits, 22 blocks and a minus-4 rating through 17 appearances this season, offering physicality with limited offense.

Drew Helleson D | ANA
Ducks' Drew Helleson: Pots goal in win
Helleson scored a goal and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Oilers.
Helleson has played in three straight games, this time staying in the lineup over Olen Zellweger. The 23-year-old Helleson was scratched for seven straight games between Dec. 9-22, and his spot in the lineup is far from secure. He has five points, 14 shots on net, 16 hits, 18 blocked shots and eight PIM through 13 NHL appearances this season.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Out indefinitely
Gostisbehere (upper body) will be out for a while, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports Monday.
Gostisbehere didn't participate in Monday's practice after missing Saturday's 5-2 win over New Jersey. He has registered six goals, 27 points, 66 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and 30 hits across 35 appearances this season. Ty Smith will receive an increased role, including a spot on the top power-play combination, during Gostisbehere's absence.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Dealing with illness
Ekman-Larsson (illness) was absent from Monday's practice.
It's unclear at this time if Ekman-Larsson will play in Tuesday's matchup versus the Islanders. He has accounted for one goal, 13 points, 63 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and 52 hits in 37 appearances this season. If Ekman-Larsson is unavailable, Philippe Myers could play against the Islanders.

Riley Stillman D | EDM
Hurricanes' Riley Stillman: Called up by Carolina
Stillman was recalled from AHL Chicago on Monday.
Stillman has been a healthy scratch when with the NHL club this season, but he'll rejoin the Hurricanes a week after being sent to the minors. He hasn't appeared in the NHL since the 2022-23 campaign, when he made 50 appearances between Vancouver and Buffalo, and he racked up a goal, seven assists, 81 hits, 44 blocked shots and 36 PIM while averaging 14:39 of ice time across that span.

Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Snaps goal drought Sunday
Bouchard delivered a goal and an assist Sunday in a 5-3 loss to Anaheim.
Bouchard potted his first goal since Nov. 23 to snap a 13-game drought. The right-shot blueliner isn't producing at a point-per-game pace like he did in his breakout season last year, but he's still providing steady production with at least seven points in each month of the 2024-25 campaign. Bouchard has scored seven goals on 91 shots (7.7 shooting percentage) this season, so he's converting at a similar rate to his 8.2 percent clip in 2023-24. The Ontario native ranks third on the club in scoring with 27 points (20 helpers), and he's added a plus-7 rating through 36 appearances.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Bags apple in loss
Raddysh produced an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Raddysh has five helpers over his last eight contests, and he's posted a plus-7 rating in that span. The 28-year-old blueliner continues to fill a top-four role in place of J.J. Moser (lower body), who is not expected back until late February at the earliest. Raddysh has 12 points, 35 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 26 outings. Fantasy managers should remember he had 33 points in 82 regular-season games in 2023-24, so he could tap into a bit more offense moving forward.

Mike Matheson D | MON
Canadiens' Mike Matheson: Nabs helper in win
Matheson recorded an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Lightning.
Matheson has three helpers and a plus-2 rating over his last seven contests. The 30-year-old defenseman is still finding ways to chip in even with a smaller power-play role this year. He's at 18 points, 64 shots on net, 73 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 34 appearances. Matheson likely won't come close to last year's 11-goal, 62-point showing, but he's on pace to top the 40-point mark while adding blocks and PIM aplenty.

Ben Chiarot D | DET
Red Wings' Ben Chiarot: Notches assist Sunday
Chiarot logged an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Chiarot ended a five-game point drought with the helper. That span also includes a one-game absence due to an upper-body injury he sustained Dec. 21 versus the Canadiens. The 33-year-old defenseman has resumed his top-four role since returning to action, though he's purely a shutdown player. Chiarot has six points, 40 shots on net, 39 PIM, 53 hits and 74 blocked shots through 35 appearances in 2024-25.

Erik Gustafsson D | DET
Red Wings' Erik Gustafsson: Hands out power-play assist
Gustafsson produced a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.
Gustafsson set up Patrick Kane's tally in the first period. The helper ended a seven-game slump for Gustafsson, who has struggled to do much on offense this season. The 32-year-old defenseman has six helpers, 36 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 28 appearances. He's not a lock to be in the lineup, but he regularly sees time on the second power-play unit when he plays, which is where he's earned four of his six assists this season.
