  • Blues' Colton Parayko: Leading St. Louis' back end

Parayko distributed two primary assists in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres.

Parayko set up both of his team's goals in the loss. It was the 31-year-old's third multi-point effort of the campaign. The right-shot blueliner has followed up a five-game scoring drought with one goal and four helpers over his last three games. It's just the second time in 2024-25 that Parayko has had a point streak of at least three games. The hulking 6-foot-6 blueliner is spearheading St. Louis' defensemen in scoring with six goals and 21 points through 38 contests. Parayko is in line to set new career highs in goals, assists and points in his 10th NHL season.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Racking up apples

Dahlin posted an even-strength assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blues.

Dahlin registered the secondary assist on Peyton Krebs' fourth goal of the campaign in the opening frame. Dahlin has accumulated seven helpers during his three-game point streak, which follows up a five-game stretch in which he was held off the scoresheet entirely. The smooth-skating blueliner leads Buffalo's back end in scoring with six goals and 26 points through 29 appearances, and he's tied for third overall on the team in points. That's an impressive feat considering the 24-year-old has missed eight games this season due to back spasms. Dahlin and the Sabres will attempt to win their fourth consecutive game Tuesday in Dallas.

  • Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Helps twice in win

Carrier had two assists, three shots on net and one hit in Sunday's 5-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Carrier assisted on a Christian Dvorak tally then helped seal the win with a helper on Brendan Gallagher's empty-netter. Since being acquired from Nashville, the defenseman has points (four assists) in three of five outings along with a plus-3 rating, eight hits and four blocks.

  • Kris Letang D | PIT

    Penguins' Kris Letang: Unavailable Sunday

Letang (lower body) won't play Sunday versus the Islanders.

Letang had one shot on goal, one hit and two blocked shots in 25:04 of ice time in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Islanders. He has seven goals and 16 points through 34 appearances this season. Letang will be replaced in Sunday's lineup by Nate Clurman.

  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

    Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Is week-to-week

Hughes (undisclosed) is week-to-week, coach Rick Tocchet told Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com on Sunday.

Hughes won't travel with the Canucks for their upcoming games in Calgary and Seattle on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, but his week-to-week label suggests he'll likely miss more than just those two games. The 25-year-old defenseman has eight goals and 42 points in 34 outings in 2024-25. His absence has created an opportunity for Erik Brannstrom to play regularly and serve on the top power-play unit.

  • Jets' Logan Stanley: Picks up assist in return

Stanley logged an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Senators.

Stanley returned from a two-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The 26-year-old defenseman started on the third pairing but ended the game with 19:14 of ice time, a season-high total. He may push Colin Miller for a second-pairing role while Haydn Fleury (lower body) and Dylan Samberg (foot) are out. Through 23 appearances, Stanley has five points, 13 shots on net, 24 hits, 35 blocked shots, 53 PIM and a plus-5 rating. He had just five points over 44 contests across the previous two seasons combined, so he's having a better 2024-25.

  • Colin Miller D | WPG

Jets' Colin Miller: Snags helper in win

Miller posted an assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Senators.

Miller was listed on the second pairing Saturday, but he logged just 13:36 of ice time. The Jets have a second-pairing problem, as Dylan Samberg (foot) and Haydn Fleury (lower body) are both out, leaving some combination of Miller, Logan Stanley and Ville Heinola to pick up the slack. Miller has done alright with eight points, 38 shots on net, 38 hits, 24 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 30 appearances this season. His helper Saturday was just his third in 20 games since the start of November.

  • Ty Emberson D | EDM

Oilers' Ty Emberson: Records assist in overtime loss

Emberson logged an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Kings.

Emberson has earned three assists over his last 12 games. That's not a great rate of production, but it's passable for a bottom-four defenseman. The 24-year-old has a total of four helpers, 29 shots on net, 48 hits, 45 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 33 contests this season, so he's not much of a factor in most fantasy formats.

  • Kings' Jordan Spence: Contributes pair of assists

Spence logged two assists and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers.

Spence has five assists over his last five contests. The 23-year-old's offense has come back around after a sluggish November, and his spot on the second power-play unit adds a little more fantasy value. Overall, Spence has 12 points, 35 shots on net, 42 blocked shots, 29 hits and a plus-8 rating over 34 appearances. It's a nearly identical scoring pace to what he showed in 2023-24 (24 points in 71 regular-season outings).

  • Canucks' Derek Forbort: Grabs helper in overtime loss

Forbort provided an assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kraken.

Forbort played a season-high 20:07 of ice time since the Canucks were without the services of Quinn Hughes (undisclosed). The helper was Forbort's second through nine contests this season. He's added six shots on net, seven hits, 11 blocked shots and eight PIM while typically seeing third-pairing minutes. Forbort may be in for a larger role as long as Hughes is out.
