Samsonov will get the first half of Vegas back-to-back, and Adin Hill will play in Sunday's home matchup versus Minnesota. The 27-year-old Samsonov has stopped 133 of 142 shots during his six-game winning streak. He has posted a record of 11-3-1 with a 2.65 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 15 appearances this season. The Rangers are tied for 18th in the league with 2.93 goals per game in 2024-25.

Nedeljkovic will patrol the home crease versus Ottawa on Saturday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.
Nedeljkovic will make his fifth start in the Penguins' last seven games after playing just once in the previous nine games. Nedeljkovic is 7-6-4 with a 3.21 GAA and an .891 save percentage across 18 appearances. Ottawa is 22nd in NHL scoring this season, averaging 2.85 goals per game.

Ingram will patrol the home crease against the Islanders on Saturday, per Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Ingram was the backup goalie behind Karel Vejmelka in Friday's 2-1 win over San Jose after missing 22 games. He was out due to an upper-body injury and to grieve following the death of his mother. Ingram has a 6-4-3 record with a 3.61 GAA and an .871 save percentage this season. The Islanders rank 26th in the league with 2.68 goals per game in 2024-25.

Sorokin (illness) won't be in the lineup for Saturday's road matchup against Utah.
The Islanders recalled Jakub Skarek on Saturday from AHL Bridgeport on an emergency basis. Sorokin has won his last two outings, including a 30-save shutout against Vegas on Thursday. He has a 13-13-4 record with a 2.83 GAA and a .902 save percentage through 30 appearances this season. Marcus Hogberg will face Utah on Saturday, while Skarek will be the backup.

Lyon skated prior to practice Saturday. He was injured Tuesday against the Senators. Lyon is 8-5-0 with a 2.71 GAA and a .902 save percentage this season. He could return as early as Tuesday against the Sharks.

Lindgren (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Lindgren won't be eligible to play until at least Jan. 18 against Pittsburgh after moving to the IR list. He sustained the injury in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to Montreal. Lindgren has a 10-8-2 record with a 2.65 GAA and a .900 save percentage across 21 appearances this season. Washington summoned Hunter Shepard from AHL Hershey in a corresponding move to occupy the backup role behind Logan Thompson.

Blackwood will defend the road net against the Jets on Saturday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
Blackwood is coming off a 24-save performance in Thursday's 6-1 win over Minnesota. He has posted a record of 8-1-1 with a 1.61 GAA and a .940 save percentage in 10 appearances with Colorado since being acquired from San Jose on Dec. 9. Winnipeg ranks third in the league with 3.56 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost 2-1 in overtime to the Kings on Friday.

It'll be the third straight start for Wolf. The 23-year-old netminder's been impressive of late, going 4-1-0 with a .915 save percentage in his last five outings. He'll face a Kings team that's averaging 3.08 goals per game.
