Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Loses to Ducks

Hill stopped 19 of 22 shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

The Golden Knights ran out of time after Tomas Hertl brought the deficit back to one late in the third period. Hill took his third straight loss (0-2-1), and he's allowed 14 goals on 81 shots in that span. For the season, the 29-year-old goalie is 3-3-3 with a 3.51 GAA and an .856 save percentage over 11 contests. Both Hill and Akira Schmid are likely to get one more start prior to the Olympic break, as the Golden Knights host the Canucks on Wednesday and the Kings on Thursday in a back-to-back set.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Holds on for win Sunday

Dostal allowed three goals on 31 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights pushed hard in the third period, but Dostal was up to the task to preserve the Ducks' lead. He's won seven of his last eight outings, and this was just the third time in that span that he allowed three goals. The 25-year-old netminder is now 20-13-2 with a 2.95 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 37 appearances this season. The Ducks play once more before the Olympic break, as they host the Kraken on Tuesday.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Rough performance in Stadium Series

Swayman stopped 41 of 46 shots in Sunday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Lightning in the Stadium Series.

Swayman not only got beat in the shootout, but he appeared to take a narrow loss in a goalie fight versus Andrei Vasilevskiy in the second period. That fight wasn't Swayman's only penalty -- he also took a delay of game a few minutes later, part of a sequence of penalties that opened the door for the Lightning to start their comeback. He hasn't gotten a winning streak past three games since he won five in a row from Nov. 1-15. The American netminder is down to 22-13-2 with a 2.92 GAA and .903 save percentage through 38 appearances. The Bruins' last game before the Olympic break is Wednesday versus the Panthers.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Takes winning ways outdoors

Vasilevskiy stopped 29 of 34 shots in Sunday's 6-5 shootout win over the Bruins in the Stadium Series.

Vasilevskiy and the Lightning struggled early on, but the goalie provided an unlikely spark by chucking knuckles with Jeremy Swayman in the middle of the second period. The goalie fight clearly motivated Vasilevskiy, who didn't allow another goal as the Lightning rallied for a comeback. This won't go down as one of his best efforts, but it was his sixth straight win. He allowed more goals in this outing than he had in the rest of the streak. Vasilevskiy is up to 25-7-3 with a 2.12 GAA and a .918 save percentage over 35 starts this season. The Lightning host the Sabres on Tuesday.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Starting against Vegas

Dostal will start Sunday's home game against the Golden Knights, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal's six-game winning streak came to an end during an unlucky loss in Vancouver on Thursday in which he turned aside 24 of 25 shots. The 25-year-old has posted a 1.81 GAA and .934 save percentage over his last seven starts. He made a home start against Vegas on Nov. 22, allowing three goals on 32 shots in a 4-3 overtime victory.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Takes overtime loss

Forsberg stopped 31 of 34 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.

Forsberg gave up the first two goals of the game, but the Kings picked him up with a pair of tallies 3:28 apart late in the third period. Sebastian Aho denied Forsberg the win at 1:25 of overtime. Despite the defeat, Forsberg hasn't lost in regulation in his last six outings, allowing just 10 goals on 153 shots in that span. For the season, the 33-year-old netminder has done pretty well with a 9-6-5 record, a 2.50 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 21 contests. He should get another start in a back-to-back before the Olympic break, as the Kings host the Kraken on Wednesday before visiting the Golden Knights on Thursday.

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Light workload in overtime win

Bussi stopped 11 of 13 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kings.

Bussi didn't have his best performance, but he was able to earn his fifth straight win. He's faced fewer than 20 shots in three of those victories, as the Hurricanes have their preferred defense rolling in strong form. Bussi improved to 21-3-1 with a 2.21 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 25 starts this season. The 27-year-old has mostly shared the crease with Frederik Andersen lately, so it wouldn't be surprising if the two goalies split the last two games before the Olympic break. The Hurricanes host the Senators on Tuesday before visiting the Rangers on Thursday.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Starting at Raymond James Stadium

Vasilevskiy will be between the home pipes during Sunday's Stadium Series matchup against the Bruins, per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.

Vasilevskiy is at the top of his game, as he's won each of his last five starts while posting an exceptional 0.79 GAA and a .965 save percentage during that time. The Bruins are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games, but they will be without Elias Lindholm (upper body) and Pavel Zacha (upper body) on Sunday. The 31-year-old Vasilevskiy won his lone start outdoors at Nissan Stadium on Feb. 26, 2022, turning aside 26 of 28 shots in a 3-2 win over the Predators. This will be the Bruins' sixth game playing in the elements -- they are 4-1-0 throughout their history in outdoor games.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Starting outdoor battle

Swayman will start Sunday's Stadium Series game against the Lightning, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.

Swayman will make his third straight start and try to pick up a fourth consecutive win in an outdoor game at Raymond James Stadium as part of the Stadium Series. It will be his first career appearance in an outdoor game. The 27-year-old is 22-12-2 on the season with a 2.87 GAA and a .903 save percentage. The Lightning will present a challenge for the Bruins' goaltender, as Tampa Bay ranks second in the league with 3.46 goals per game.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Tending twine Sunday

Forsberg will be between the pipes for Sunday's road matchup against Carolina, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Forsberg will get the second half of the Kings' back-to-back after Darcy Kuemper played in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over Philadelphia. The 33-year-old Forsberg has a 9-6-4 record with a 2.48 GAA, a .910 save percentage and one shutout through 20 appearances this season. Carolina ranks fifth in the league with 3.41 goals per game in the 2025-26 campaign.
