Pittsburgh is also searching for a win after dropping four of its past five (1-2-2). The Penguins are missing star centers Sidney Crosby (lower body) and Evgeni Malkin (suspension).

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Slated to start Thursday

    Bussi is slated to start at home against St. Louis on Thursday.

    Bussi has a 25-4-1 record, 2.38 GAA and .898 save percentage in 30 outings in 2025-26. Despite his strong season overall, he's struggled recently, allowing 13 goals on 75 shots (.827 save percentage) across his past three games. St. Louis suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders on Tuesday, dropping the Blues' record to 25-29-10 and bringing an end to their four-game winning streak.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Slated to start against Nashville

    Tolopilo is expected to draw the home start against the Predators on Thursday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

    Tolopilo didn't appear in either of the Canucks' last two games, but he should return to the crease Thursday based on his usage during the team's optional morning skate. Across his last five outings, he's gone 1-2-2 with a 3.29 GAA and .892 save percentage.

    Binnington is expected to start Thursday's road game against Carolina.

    Binnington has started in just one of the Blues' five games in March, but he's set to start in the first half of a back-to-back set Thursday. Across 10 appearances since the start of the calendar year, he's gone 2-8-0 with a 3.54 GAA and .867 save percentage.

    Jarry will protect the visiting cage in Dallas on Thursday, per Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels.

    Jarry snapped a four-game winless streak with a win in Colorado on Tuesday. He stopped 11 of 12 shots in relief of the injured Connor Ingram (upper body), boosting Jarry's record to 16-8-2 in 28 games split evenly between Pittsburgh and Edmonton. The Stars are generating 3.41 goals per game, good for seventh in NHL scoring this season.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Backing up Thursday

    Ingram (upper body) will back up Tristan Jarry in Dallas on Thursday, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.

    Ingram was injured Tuesday in Colorado when Nathan MacKinnon ran into him. MacKinnon received a major and a game misconduct for his misdeed, which forced Ingram out of the game. Ingram is 9-6-1 with a 2.79 GAA and an .892 save percentage across 19 outings this season and is expected to start Friday in St. Louis.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Facing Jets

    Shesterkin will defend the visiting crease in Winnipeg on Thursday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

    Shesterkin is on a two-game winning streak, giving up four goals on 66 shots in victories over Toronto and Philadelphia. Overall. the 30-year-old netminder is 20-12-6 with a 2.49 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 39 contests this season. The Jets are tied for 23rd in NHL scoring, averaging 2.83 goals per game.

    Flames' Dustin Wolf: Receives starting nod Thursday

    Wolf will patrol the road crease in Thursday's clash with New Jersey, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

    Wolf will draw his second consecutive start Thursday after allowing four goals in his most recent outing. Since the Olympic break, the 24-year-old netminder has posted a 2-3-0 record, a 3.18 GAA and a .904 save percentage across five appearances. Overall, he has an 18-24-3 record, a 3.02 GAA and an .896 save percentage across 46 appearances this season. He's been a workhorse for Calgary this season, but will draw a solid matchup Thursday against New Jersey's offense, which ranks 30th in the league with 2.53 GAA this season. The matchup primes Wolf as a solid bounce-back candidate, giving him decent value across most fantasy formats.
