  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Holds on for win

Skinner stopped 30 of 32 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canucks.

Skinner was spotted a 3-0 lead after two periods. The Canucks pushed back with goals from Jake DeBrusk and Teddy Blueger, but Skinner was able to keep the lead for the Penguins, earning his fourth straight win. He's allowed nine goals on 108 shots during the streak. For the season, the 27-year-old netminder improved to 18-12-4 with a 2.65 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 34 starts. The Penguins will have a short break before their next game, which is at home Thursday versus the Blackhawks.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Gets little help in loss

Woll stopped 33 of 36 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Avalanche.

The Maple Leafs very nearly got shut out on home ice, but Max Domi managed to find a power-play tally with just 62 seconds left in the third period. It's the second straight start for Woll in which he received only one goal of support, but he hasn't been doing himself any favors of late, either, going 0-2-2 over his last four outings while allowing 16 goals on 139 shots (.885 save percentage).

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Cruises to win in Toronto

Blackwood made 32 saves in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

The 29-year-old netminder nearly came away with his third shutout of the season, but Max Domi tapped home a power-play goal with just over a minute left in the third period to spoil it. It was Blackwood's first win in three starts after returning from a lower-body injury Jan. 16, and it was a welcome return to form after he'd coughed up 11 goals on 47 shots in the first two outings. With Scott Wedgewood back with the Avs following the birth of his child, the duo should move back into a timeshare for the final run of games ahead of the Olympic break.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Added to active roster

Wedgewood (personal) was activated from the non-roster list Sunday.

Wedgewood sat out Sunday's 4-1 win over Toronto after his wife, Brittany, gave birth to their second child Thursday. The 33-year-old Wedgewood will join his teammates ahead of Wednesday's road matchup against Ottawa. He has a 20-3-5 record with a 2.14 GAA, a .918 save percentage and two shutouts through 30 appearances this season.

  • Isak Posch G | COL

Avalanche's Isak Posch: Headed to AHL

Posch was reassigned to AHL Colorado by the Avalanche, the team announced Sunday.

Posch had been up as insurance while Scott Wedgewood dealt with a personal issue. Now that Wedgewood has been added back to the roster, Posch is no longer needed at the NHL level and has been sent back to the AHL. The 23-year-old Posch is 12-5-5 with a 2.45 GAA and a .902 save percentage on the season with the Eagles.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Between pipes Sunday

Lankinen will patrol the home crease against Pittsburgh on Sunday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

Lankinen is coming off a 19-save effort in Friday's 5-4 loss to New Jersey. He has a 7-15-4 record in the 2025-26 campaign with a 3.45 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 27 outings. Pittsburgh sits ninth in the league with 3.30 goals per game this season.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting in Windy City

Tarasov will start Sunday's contest against the Blackhawks, Panthers radio play-by-play announcer Doug Plagens reports.

Tarasov will get the second leg of Florida's back-to-back after Sergei Bobrovsky started Saturday night against the Wild. The 26-year-old Tarasov is 7-6-2 with a 2.63 GAA and a .906 save percentage. He will put a personal three-game winning streak on the line against the Blackhawks, who rank 26th in the NHL at 2.69 goals per game.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: In goal Sunday

Hill will defend the road net against Ottawa on Sunday.

Hill will get a second straight start after he made 18 saves in Friday's 6-3 win over Toronto. He has surrendered 20 goals on 155 shots en route to a 3-1-2 record through eight appearances this season. Ottawa ranks 12th in the league this campaign with 3.22 goals per game.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Returns to active roster

Ullmark (personal) was activated from the non-roster list Sunday, according to Graham Creech of TSN 1200 Ottawa.

After missing the last 14 games, Ullmark will serve as Mads Sogaard's backup in Sunday's home matchup against Vegas. The 32-year-old Ullmark should return to the crease soon as Ottawa's No. 1 netminder. He has gone 14-8-5 with a 2.95 GAA, an .881 save percentage and one shutout across 28 appearances this season.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Tending goal Sunday

Skinner will start Sunday's game against the Canucks, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Skinner has won three straight starts and six of his last seven, allowing just 11 total goals in that longer stretch, as he seems to have found his footing as a Penguin. The 26-year-old has a 6-4-0 record, a 2.34 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 10 games with Pittsburgh. The Canucks have lost 12 of their last 13 games.
