  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Allows six goals

Lankinen stopped 14 of 20 shots in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Lankinen's woes continue as the Canucks' No. 1 goaltender, and he has posted a save percentage of .880 or lower in each of his past four starts, losing each outing. The Canucks have struggled badly on both ends of the ice this season, and right now, it's hard to trust Lankinen as a viable fantasy starter even in the deeper formats. He's gone 1-8-1 with a 4.03 GAA and a poor .861 save percentage over his last 12 appearances since the beginning of January.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Gives up one goal in loss

Blackwood stopped 23 of 24 shots in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Red Wings. The other goal was an empty-netter late in the third period.

It'd be completely unfair to put much of the blame for the loss on Blackwood's shoulders after he kept the Avs in the game throughout the contest. He was beaten on a tip-in in the early stages of the first period, and the second goal came when he was already on the bench. Blackwood has gone 2-2-0 over his last four outings, but he's allowed just one or fewer goals three times over that stretch, so the 29-year-old netminder continues to play at a high level even if the Avalanche are going through one of their most complicated stretches of the campaign.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Posts shutout vs. Colorado

Gibson posted a 21-save shutout in Monday's 2-0 win over the Avalanche.

Gibson snapped a three-game winless skid with a strong effort against one of the best offenses in the league. Gibson has won nine of his 13 appearances since the beginning of January, posting an impressive 9-3-1 record with a 1.96 GAA and a .925 save percentage in that stretch.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Hangs on for comeback win

Gustavsson turned aside 17 of 20 shots on goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.

Even after giving up three consecutive goals, one in each period, Gustavsson defended well when it mattered most, allowing the Wild to score the game-tying goal in the third before Kirill Kaprizov lasered the game-winner in overtime. With the win, Gustavsson now holds a 19-9-6 record, a 2.58 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 35 appearances this season. The 27-year-old goaltender has managed to earn the Wild at least one point in each of his last six starts with a 5-0-1 record despite posting numbers below his season average in that span. If he could play a tad sharper, similar to his 13-game span with a 10-1-2 record that he posted from No.v 16 to Jan. 2, he could elevate his fantasy value to the next level behind an elite Minnesota offense. With Jesper Wallstedt (illness) missing Monday's game, Gustavsson has a strong chance to draw his second consecutive start in Wednesday's road clash against the Predators.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Win streak ends in OT loss

Dobes halted 20 of 24 shots on net in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.

Although the Canadiens scored three consecutive goals in the middle of the contest, Dobes allowed two goals in the first period before giving up the equalizer midway through the third. After holding up through the first three and a half minutes of overtime, he ultimately surrendered the game-winning tally to Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov. With the OT loss, Dobes now has an 18-5-4 record, a 2.96 GAA and an .892 save percentage across 27 outings this season. Even though the 24-year-old netminder snapped his six-game win streak Monday, he has earned the Canadiens a point in each of his last 10 starts. As he's started each of Montreal's last four games, Dobes looks to have a firm hold on the No. 1 job in the team's crease, making him a viable fantasy option in most standard leagues for the time being.

  • Capitals' Clay Stevenson: Second straight win

Stevenson made 29 saves on 30 shots in a 4-1 win over the Islanders on Monday.

It was his second consecutive start and win while filling in for Logan Thompson (upper body) and Charlie Lindgren (lower body). Stevenson was great -- he made several sharp saves, including a sprawling pad save in the third while shorthanded that preserved a 2-1 lead, and his mates were outstanding, blocking 23 shots. Stevenson will remain in the blue paint until Lindgren and Thompson are back from the IR.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Just one win in last five starts

Rittich made 20 saves Monday in a 4-1 loss to Washington. He allowed three goals.

Rittich and Islanders weren't bad; they just couldn't score on Clay Stevenson, who earned the game's first star for his effort. Rittich is 1-3-1 in his last five games; he has allowed 14 goals in that span. Overall, he's 12-8-3 with a 2.57 GAA and .900 save percentage in 23 starts.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Eighth loss in last 11 starts

Bobrovsky made 15 saves on 20 shots in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo on Monday.

Florida is in trouble right now -- it's 10 points behind Buffalo for the first wild-card spot, and nine points behind Boston for the second one. Bobrovsky has lost three straight, five of his last six, and eight of his last 11 starts (3-8-0). He can use some rest and fast -- the Olympic break will hopefully give him the R&R he needs.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Faces high volume in loss

Silovs stopped 28 of 31 shots on goal in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.

Silovs put together a solid performance through the first two periods, as he allowed just one goal, before the Senators struck the back of the net twice in the third to steal the win. Following Monday's loss, the 24-year-old Silovs now holds a 10-7-8 record, a 2.97 GAA and an .893 save percentage across 25 outings this season. Monday's loss snapped his two-game win streak, where he played a solid part in the Penguins' run of six consecutive wins to wrap up their January slate. While Stuart Skinner has caught fire and holds the larger share of the workload in net, Silovs remains a solid spot start in deep fantasy leagues when he's called upon.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Hangs on for win

Ullmark stopped 14 of 16 shots on net in Monday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.

Despite allowing the lone goal of the first period, Ullmark responded well and held up in net while Ottawa's offense came to life in the third period. With the win, the 32-year-old netminder now has a 16-8-5 record, a 2.86 GAA and an .884 save percentage across 30 appearances this season. He has won back-to-back games since his return to the lineup and has provided a stint of stability to Ottawa's crease, which has been volatile for the majority of the season. He should command the bulk of the workload moving forward, making him the lone goaltending option in Ottawa to roster in fantasy. The Senators have the second half of a back-to-back Tuesday, which could see James Reimer make the road start versus the Hurricanes if the team doesn't want Ullmark starting consecutive days after being out of action for a month.
