  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting Thursday

Tarasov will guard the home cage versus Minnesota on Thursday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Tarasov has allowed 10 goals on 61 shots (.836 save percentage) in his last two starts, both road losses. He returns home Thursday, where he is 5-3-2 with a 2.46 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 11 contests. Overall, Tarasov is 9-12-2 with a 3.01 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 24 games this season. The Wild are generating 3.22 goals per game in 2025-26, 12th in the NHL.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Falters in overtime loss

Luukkonen allowed four goals on 31 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.

Luukkonen has mostly been pretty good lately, but this was far from his best work. He allowed a goal in each period in regulation and ceded the decisive tally to Pavel Zacha just 38 seconds into the extra session. Luukkonen has gone 6-1-1 over his last eight outings, and he's at 17-8-3 on the year with a 2.60 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 29 appearances. With the Sabres deploying a strict goalie rotation since the Olympic break, expect Alex Lyon to get the nod versus the Red Wings on Friday before Luukkonen returns to the crease Saturday versus the Kraken.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Picks up overtime win

Korpisalo stopped 22 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Korpisalo had a lapse in the third period, giving up goals to Zach Benson and Jason Zucker just 33 seconds apart. The Bruins bounced back and won it on a Pavel Zacha tally 38 seconds into overtime. Korpisalo picked up just his second win in his last six outings, and he was under a .900 save percentage for the fifth time in that span despite the victory. For the season, the Finnish netminder is at a 12-9-4 record with a 3.28 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 27 appearances. The Bruins have a back-to-back over the weekend, hosting the Wild on Saturday before visiting the Blue Jackets on Sunday. Expect Korpisalo to split those starts with Jeremy Swayman, but with the Bruins in the thick of the playoff race, Swayman might get doubled up in one or more of the team's last three back-to-back sets this season.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Poor showing in loss

Shesterkin stopped 14 of 18 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.

The Rangers actually showed up for this game, unlike their poor performance Monday, but Shesterkin didn't do his part against a light workload. This was his fourth loss in a row, and he's allowed 14 goals on 112 shots (.875 save percentage) in that span. For the season, the 30-year-old netminder is down to 22-16-6 with a 2.59 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 45 starts. The Rangers' next game is Friday at home versus the Blackhawks.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Stays busy in win

Woll stopped 40 of 43 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Woll ended his 0-2-2 skid with this performance. He's faced at least 30 shots in seven straight outings, going 2-3-2 in that span, so he's not getting much help from his defense. The 27-year-old netminder is up to 15-13-6 with a 3.16 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 35 outings this season. Woll has seen the majority of the playing time over Anthony Stolarz lately. However, it's unclear if the Maple Leafs will balance the playing time between them once the team is mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Toronto begins a road trip in St. Louis on Saturday.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Making start Wednesday

Woll will protect the home goal versus the Rangers on Wednesday, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.

Woll was busy in his last start, stopping 39 of 44 shots in a loss to the Senators. The 27-year-old Woll has lost five of his last six outings, going 1-3-2 with 20 goals allowed on 219 shots in that span. The Rangers have scored just 10 goals over their last five games.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: In goal against Bruins

Luukkonen will protect the home goal versus the Bruins on Wednesday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

Luukkonen is set for his turn in the Sabres' goalie rotation. He's won six of his last seven outings with a 2.01 GAA and a .930 save percentage in that span, which includes a game in which he allowed seven goals. The Bruins are in the second half of a back-to-back, and they've scored 19 goals over their last six games while winning three of them.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Set to start Wednesday

Korpisalo will guard the road goal versus the Sabres on Wednesday, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports.

Korpisalo will handle the second half of a back-to-back after Jeremy Swayman was in goal for Tuesday's loss to the Maple Leafs. Korpisalo is 1-1-3 with 20 goals allowed on 166 shots (.880 save percentage) in his last five outings, so facing a team as strong as the Sabres makes him a risky play in fantasy.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Beaten twice Tuesday

Thompson stopped 24 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Blues. The third goal was an empty-netter in the final minute of the third period.

Thompson did everything he could to keep the Capitals in the game, but the offense wasn't at its best and couldn't score on Joel Hofer, who had a 21-save shutout. Thompson has dropped his last two games, but he remains a solid contributor in fantasy. He has yet to allow more than three goals in a game since returning from the Olympics, going 5-4-2 with a 2.10 GAA and an impressive .923 save percentage over that span.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Posts shutout Tuesday

Hofer posted a 21-save shutout in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Capitals.

Hofer didn't receive a lot of support from the offense, but he didn't need it en route to his sixth shutout of the season. He's one behind Ilya Sorokin for the league's lead in that category. Hofer hasn't lost in regulation since the Olympic break, going 6-0-2 with an excellent 1.34 GAA and an outstanding .955 save percentage in that span.
