  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Third straight win

Nedeljkovic made 21 saves in a 3-2 win over Washington on Thursday.

It was Ned's third consecutive win. He's 8-8-2 with a 3.06 GAA and .891 save percentage in 17 starts (21 appearances). Nedeljkovic is the clear number two in San Jose, but he has been alternating with Yaroslav Askarov since the calendar flipped to 2026. He's worth a pick-up given his current success, especially in daily leagues.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Perfect against Oilers

Sorokin posted a 35-save shutout in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Oilers.

Sorokin was given a vote of confidence from head coach Patrick Roy to make this start after giving up five goals to the Jets on Tuesday. That faith was rewarded as Sorokin secured his league-leading fifth shutout of the campaign while snapping Connor McDavid's 20-game point streak in the process. The 30-year-old Sorokin has won three of his last four games and is up to 15-11-2 with a 2.47 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 28 starts. If he gets the start Saturday in Calgary, he'd have a favorable matchup, though it's a matinee game that Roy might want to give to the former Flame, David Rittich, instead.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: On wrong end of narrow shutout loss

Ingram stopped 17 of 18 shots in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Islanders.

Ingram put forth a good effort, but Anthony Duclair's power-play goal at 13:42 of the third period was the difference. The 28-year-old Ingram has gone 2-2-1 while allowing 13 goals on 133 shots over his last five outings. He's provided fairly steady goaltending recently, but Ingram's playing time is still likely to decrease now that Tristan Jarry is back from a lower-body injury. Ingram is 4-3-1 with a 2.49 GAA and a .907 save percentage over eight starts. At this point, he's likely playing to try to force the Oilers to waive Calvin Pickard (3.68 GAA/.871 save percentage in 16 games). With a back-to-back over the weekend, Ingram may get to play either Saturday in Vancouver or Sunday at home versus the Blues.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Gets little help in return

Knight stopped 20 of 22 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Flames. The third goal was an empty-netter.

The Blackhawks were on the board early, but the Flames quickly answered with a pair of first-period tallies. Knight was perfect the rest of the way, but so was Devin Cooley in the other crease. Over the last six games, Knight is 3-2-1 with 15 goals allowed on 168 shots, so he continues to provide good performances despite mixed results. Overall, he's 13-13-6 with a 2.61 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 32 starts this season. The Blackhawks' next game is at home against the surging Bruins on Saturday.

  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Earns win Thursday

Cooley stopped 22 of 23 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Cooley was steady aside from giving up a goal to Nick Foligno at 2:38 of the first period. The 28-year-old Cooley has started two of the last three games, winning both of those outings while allowing just two goals on 51 shots. For the season, he's at a 6-4-2 record with a 2.20 GAA and a .921 save percentage. Dustin Wolf will still get most of the starts, but Cooley has been excellent in the backup role when he gets the nod.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Named to AHL All-Star Game

Fowler made 22 saves Thursday in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo.

Fowler is 1-3-1 n his last five games with 14 goals allowed. Overall, he's 4-4-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .902 save percentage. Earlier Thursday, Fowler was named to the AHL All-Star Game. His last game with the Rocket dates back to Dec. 6. That's an incredible feat considering he's been in the NHL for five weeks. And interestingly enough, Fowler will be able to attend the AHL All-Star Classic on Feb. 10 and 11 because it's happening during the Olympic break.

  • Colten Ellis G | BUF

Sabres' Colten Ellis: Nets another win

Ellis made 20 saves in a 5-3 win over Montreal on Thursday.

Ellis is currently with the Sabres while Alex Lyon (lower body) is on injured reserve. He is 2-1-0 in three starts since he was summoned from the AHL. He has allowed eight goals in those three games. Lyon was on a seven-game winning streak before he got hurt, and he's about eight days into a 7-10 day absence. There have been no reports that he has resumed skating, so it looks like Ellis will be with the Sabres for a bit longer.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Expected to face Toronto

Hill is set to start at home against Toronto on Thursday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.

Hill, who had been dealing with a lower-body injury, was activated off injured reserve Thursday and will be playing in his first game since Oct. 20. He has a 1-0-2 record, 2.73 GAA and .888 save percentage in five appearances this season. Hill's getting a difficult adversary right away. Toronto ranks sixth in goals per game with 3.33, and the Maple Leafs are 8-1-2 over their past 11 games.

  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Set to start Thursday

Cooley is expected to start on the road against Chicago on Thursday, per Tracey Myers of NHL.com.

Cooley has a 5-4-2 record, 2.29 GAA and .918 save percentage in 14 outings in 2025-26. He stopped 27 of 28 shots en route to a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh in his last start Saturday. Chicago ranks 24th in goals per game with 2.78, and the Blackhawks have gone 1-2-0 while managing just five goals across their past three games.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to face Minnesota

Hellebuyck is expected to start on the road against Minnesota on Thursday, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.

Hellebuyck has won his past two starts, but he's also allowed at least three goals in each of his last five appearances. The 32-year-old netminder has an 11-12-4 record, 2.75 GAA and .899 save percentage in 27 outings, which is pretty disappointing by his standards. He's 1-0-1 with a 3.48 GAA and an .870 save percentage in two starts against Minnesota in 2025-26.
