  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Starting in Edmonton

Sorokin will be between the visiting pipes in Edmonton on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Sorokin struggled Tuesday, allowing five goals on only 22 shots in a 5-4 loss to Winnipeg. Sorokin is 14-11-2 with four shutouts, a 2.57 GAA and a .911 save percentage across 27 appearances this season. The Oilers are third in NHL scoring, averaging 3.38 goals per contest.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Slated to start Thursday

Woll is expected to guard the visiting cage in Vegas on Thursday, according to David Alter of The Hockey News.

Woll has won his last three starts, including a 4-3 overtime win in Colorado on Monday. Woll is 11-4-2 with a 2.54 GAA and a .918 save percentage across 18 appearances this season. He will face the Golden Knights, who are 10th in NHL scoring this season, generating 3.24 goals per game.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: First goalie off Thursday

Vejmelka was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports, indicating he'll guard the cage at home versus Dallas.

Vejmelka is riding a four-game winning streak during which he has posted a 1.49 GAA and .943 save percentage. The 29-year-old netminder currently leads the NHL with 21 wins, and his 35 starts trail only Nashville's Juuse Saros (36). At this rate, Vejmelka should be a lock for the 30-win threshold and should even push for 40. If he continues to rack up wins, Vejmelka could find himself receiving a Vezina Trophy nomination at the end of the year.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to start Thursday

Ingram is slated to start Thursday's home game against the Islanders, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Ingram got the night off in the second half of a back-to-back set Tuesday against Nashville, but he'll return to the crease Thursday for the third time in the Oilers' last four games. Across his last three appearances, Ingram has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .930 save percentage.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: In goal Thursday

Fowler will get the starting nod on the road against the Sabres on Thursday.

Fowler has featured in three of the Habs' last seven outings while the team continues to carry three netminders on the roster. In those appearances, the 21-year-old Fowler went 1-2-0 with a 2.08 GAA but won't offer much in terms of fantasy value moving forward if he can't secure more of the workload.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Facing Flames

Knight will patrol the home crease versus Calgary on Thursday, according to Vinnie Parise of The Hockey News.

Knight has been strong between the pipes this season, keeping the Blackhawks in games they were outplayed in. The netminder is 13-12-6 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.63 GAA and a .910 save percentage. Knight will face the low-scoring Flames, who are scoring just 2.54 goals per game this season, ranking 31st in the NHL.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Nabs third straight win

Luukkonen made 20 saves in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

The 26-year-old netminder cruised to the win in a tight-checking contest, as the two teams combined for only 36 shots on net. Luukkonen has gotten into the win column in three straight starts and six of his last seven outings, posting a 2.15 GAA and .928 save percentage over that stretch as he reclaims the top spot in the Sabres' crease.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: First goalie off Thursday

Wallstedt was the first goalie off during Thursday's morning skate, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports, signaling that he'll draw the home start against the Jets.

Wallstedt and Filip Gustavsson have alternated starts over the past month, but Wallstedt will be in the net for a second consecutive game Thursday for the first time since early November. Wallstedt hasn't been particularly sharp over his last four starts, going 1-1-2 with a 3.35 GAA and .886 save percentage. However, he's made a pair of road starts against Winnipeg this year, going 2-0-0 with a 1.53 GAA and .948 save percentage.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Takes loss in relief

Ersson turned aside six of eight shots after replacing Dan Vladar (undisclosed) in the first period Wednesday, taking the loss as the Flyers fell 5-2 to the Sabres.

It was a rough night for Philadelphia's defense overall, and Ersson got stuck with his third straight loss when Jack Quinn's tally early in the second period proved to be the game-winner. The 26-year-old netminder has only one win in his last eight outings, going 1-5-2 with a 3.75 GAA and .840 save percentage over that stretch, but he'll likely take over as the Flyers' No. 1 option in the crease for as long as Vladar is sidelined.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Between pipes Thursday

Swayman will guard the home crease versus Seattle on Thursday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Swayman was perfect in his last start Tuesday, turning aside all 24 shots in a 3-0 win over the upstart Red Wings. Swayman is 18-11-2 with a 2.79 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 32 appearances in 2025-26. The Kraken are 25th in NHL scoring this season, generating 2.76 goals per game.
