Sogaard was returned to AHL Belleville on Saturday.
The Senators recalled Hunter Shepard in a corresponding move. Sogaard came on in relief of Leevi Merilainen in Colorado on Thursday and gave up five goals on 16 shots (.688 save percentage). The performance has been his only NHL appearance this season.

Demko was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, according to Thomas Drance of The Athletic, indicating he will defend the road net against Toronto on Saturday.
Demko has lost his last five outings (0-4-1) while surrendering 20 goals on 152 shots. He has gone 8-9-1 this season with one shutout, a 2.79 GAA and a .900 save percentage across 19 appearances. Toronto ranks seventh in the league with 3.33 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

Merilainen has struggled of late, as he has been pulled in two of his last three starting assignments. Merilainen is 6-9-0 with a 3.50 GAA and an .867 save percentage, a far cry from last season, when he was 8-3-1 with a 1.99 GAA. The Panthers are 19th in NHL scoring, generating 3.02 goals per game.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Facing Blackhawks
Saros will be between the home pipes versus Chicago on Saturday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Saros was stellar Thursday, stopping 30 shots on a 2-1 shootout win over the Islanders. Saros is 17-14-3 with a 2.96 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 34 starts this season. He will face a Chicago team that is ravaged by a flu bug that is going through their dressing room. The Blackhawks are averaging 2.82 goals per game, 24th in the NHL this season.

Woll is expected to protect the home net against Vancouver on Saturday, per Dave McCarthy of NHL.com.
Woll is coming off a 31-save performance in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Florida. He has a 9-4-2 record with one shutout, a 2.69 GAA and a .913 save percentage across 16 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. Vancouver sits 27th in the league with 2.72 goals per game this season.

Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Facing shots before practice
Stolarz (upper body) faced shots prior to practice Saturday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
After he resumed skating in late December, Saturday's appearance is another step in the right direction for Stolarz's recovery. The netminder last played Nov. 11, allowing three goals on 11 shots before getting hurt in Boston. Stolarz is 6-5-1 with a 3.51 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. There is still no timetable for his return, but according to Alter, the 31-year-old netminder is expected to accompany his teammates on the Maple Leafs' upcoming four-game road trip.

Blues' Joel Hofer: Struggles against Mammoth
Hofer allowed four goals on 23 shots in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Hofer hadn't allowed more than three goals in any of his last five outings. He's played well enough to earn a timeshare in the crease with Jordan Binnington, who has remained volatile this season. Hofer is now 9-9-2 with a 2.94 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 24 appearances. The Blues will likely turn to Binnington on Saturday in Vegas, but this crease is still very much up for grabs until one goalie can string some positive starts together.
