Alex Lyon G | DET
Red Wings' Alex Lyon: Starting Monday
Lyon will guard the road net Monday against the Islanders, Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News reports.
Lyon will make his second start in three games after starting just once in Detroit's previous eight contests. The 31-year-old Lyon is 3-4-0 on the year with a .908 save percentage and 2.85 GAA.

Alex Nedeljkovic G | PIT
Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Gets little help in loss
Nedeljkovic turned aside 24 shots in Saturday's 6-1 loss to Utah.
Three of the goals against Nedeljkovic came on the power play, and he wasn't getting much help from his defense at even strength, either. The 28-year-old netminder has only one win in his last six appearances, posting a 1-2-2 record over that stretch with a rough 3.99 GAA and .855 save percentage.

Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Back in net Sunday
Woll will get the start at home Sunday against Utah, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
The Leafs will turn to Woll again after the 26-year-old netminder posted a 31-save shutout against Vegas on Wednesday. Woll has won his last three starts, posting an impressive .949 save percentage in that span.

Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Back in win column Saturday
Vejmelka made 27 saves in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.
Sidney Crosby ruined his shutout bid with a second-period power-play goal, but Vejmelka still came away with his second win of the season, and first since Nov. 13. He's seeing a heavy workload with Connor Ingram (upper body) on the shelf, but Vejmelka is thriving under the pressure -- he's appeared in five straight games and posted a 1.77 GAA and .946 save percentage over that stretch.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Buried by Avs
Bobrovsky stopped 18 of 24 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to Colorado, with the Avalanche's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
Four straight goals by the Avs in the second period put the game out of reach, and most of the pucks that got past Bobrovsky came from in close on deflections and defensive-zone breakdowns by the Panthers. The veteran netminder has lost three of his last four starts, giving up at least four goals in each loss, and as a result he carries a 3.18 GAA and .885 save percentage on the season despite a 9-5-1 record.
-
Alexandar Georgiev G | COL
Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev: Wild ride in fifth straight win
Georgiev turned aside 27 shots in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Panthers.
Florida held a 2-1 lead after the first period, but Colorado scored four straight goals in the second to take control of the game. Even so, Georgiev gave up late goals in each of the final two frames to keep things interesting. The 28-year-old netminder has won five straight starts, posting a 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage over that stretch.
-
David Rittich G | LA
Kings' David Rittich: Sharp in seventh win
Rittich stopped 19 shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.
The 32-year-old netminder nearly recorded his first shutout of the season, but a Brandon Montour blast through traffic with less than two minutes left in the third period snuck past Rittich to end the shutout bid. Rittich has started three straight games with Darcy Kuemper (undisclosed) sidelined and allowed only one goal in each, but with the Kings having called up Pheonix Copley to be the backup over unproven Erik Portillo, Rittich could get a breather as soon as Monday in San Jose.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tough loss Saturday
Daccord made 19 saves in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.
Two goals less than two minutes apart in the second period, including a power-play tally by Quinton Byfield, accounted for the only damage against Daccord, but the Seattle offense didn't get on the board until late in the third. The 28-year-old netminder is 9-4-1 through 14 starts this season with a 2.30 GAA and .922 save percentage.
-
Jonathan Quick G | NYR
Rangers' Jonathan Quick: First stinker of season
Quick stopped 34 of 40 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Quick had allowed just four goals over his first five appearances of the season, so this was a brutal correction of his extremely good fortune. The Oilers tallied twice in each period and looked nothing like the downtrodden team that has ambled to an 11-9-2 start to 2024-25. Quick is now 4-1-0 with a 1.85 GAA and a .943 save percentage through six outings. The 38-year-old has been scratching away at Igor Shesterkin's playing time recently, but the Rangers' No. 1 should have a chance to regain a hefty share of starts after Quick's stumble Saturday. The Rangers' next game is Monday at home versus the Blues.

Stuart Skinner G | EDM
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Cruises to win
Skinner stopped 33 of 35 shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
Skinner received plenty of goal support, allowing him to overcome allowing two tallies to Artemi Panarin. Skinner has won four of his last six outings, but he's given up at least three goals in four of those contests. He improved to 7-6-2 this season with a 3.23 GAA and an .882 save percentage. The Oilers are off for five days before visiting Utah on Friday and heading to Colorado next Saturday. Expect Skinner and Calvin Pickard to split those starts.
