Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting against Winnipeg
Hofer will start Wednesday's home game against the Jets, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Hofer has seen an uptick in playing time recently, and he'll draw a third consecutive start Wednesday. Over his last seven appearances (five starts), he's gone 3-2-0 with a 2.13 GAA and a .924 save percentage. Winnipeg has 3.03 goals per game this year, which ranks 17th in the NHL.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Earns win against Montreal
Vladar stopped 21 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens.
Vladar allowed a goal to Alexandre Texier in the first period, but that was all the offense the Canadiens could muster. Vladar has been playing very well of late and has posted a save percentage of at least .935 in three of his last four starts. He has posted a 2-0-2 record and a 1.70 GAA over that stretch. He has a tight grip on the No. 1 goaltender role in Philly.

Jonathan Quick G | NYR
Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Tough night in Tuesday's loss
Quick stopped 14 of 16 shots in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Canucks, with Vancouver's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The veteran netminder didn't get a whole lot of help, but Quick also wasn't at his sharpest, letting a long-range shot from Liam Ohgren trickle through him for the Canucks' second goal. Quick hasn't picked up a win since Nov. 7, going 0-3-1 over his last four starts despite a 2.49 GAA and a .917 save percentage. He also missed a couple of weeks during that span due to a lower-body injury.

Thatcher Demko G | VAN
Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Shuts out Rangers at MSG
Demko turned aside all 23 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Rangers.
The 30-year-old netminder recorded his first shutout of the season in style, surviving four power-play opportunities for New York. Demko has won two of three starts since returning from a lower-body injury. He has gone 7-5-0 in 13 outings with a 2.45 GAA and a .910 save percentage this season. The fact that Demko has started three straight games since his recovery is an encouraging sign that the Canucks don't intend to go easy on him in an effort to keep him healthy.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Sharp in Tuesday's win
Swayman stopped 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Utah took an early 1-0 lead on a Barrett Hayton power-play tally midway through the first period, but Swayman shut the door the rest of the way. It was a strong bounce-back performance from the 27-year-old netminder after he surrendered six goals to the Wild on Sunday. However, that was a rare misstep for Swayman, who has gone 11-4-0 in 15 starts with a 2.42 GAA and a .920 save percentage since the beginning of November.

Vitek Vanecek G | UTA
Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Losing streak at seven
Vanecek made 19 saves in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.
The Mammoth potted the game's first goal, but it was all Bruins after that, with Vanecek really only being to blame for one of them when he failed to control a rebound early in the second period. The 29-year-old netminder hasn't gotten into the win column since Oct. 26, going 0-6-1 over his last seven outings with a 3.43 GAA and a brutal .855 save percentage.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Expected to start Wednesday
Tarasov is expected to start at home against the Kings on Wednesday, per George Richards of Florida Hockey Now.
Tarasov will be looking for a better result after stopping 36 of 42 shots en route to a 6-2 loss to Colorado in his last start Thursday. He's 3-5-1 with a 2.84 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 10 appearances this season. The Kings rank 28th in goals per game with 2.59.

John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Extends win streak to six
Gibson stopped 16 of 18 shots on net in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Islanders.
After allowing the opening goal of the game inside the first five minutes, Gibson stopped all but one shot across the final two periods while Detroit's offense came to life to complete the comeback. With the win, the 32-year-old netminder is up to a 10-7-1 record with a 3.07 GAA and an .890 save percentage through 19 appearances this season. After going 0-4-1 across six games in November, Gibson has completely flipped the switch in December, where he is 6-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .935 save percentage in six games. With the Red Wings surging as a team, Gibson has elevated his own performances and is one of the best streaming options across all fantasy formats amidst his win streak. While Cam Talbot will likely receive the nod in Wednesday's home game against Utah in the second half of a back-to-back, Gibson has a solid chance to start Saturday in Washington.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Allows three late goals Tuesday
Sorokin turned aside 18 of 21 shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Red Wings.
Sorokin kept New York's net tidy through the first two periods before the Red Wings scored three goals, including two on the power play, across the final 20 minutes. With the loss, he now has a 12-9-2 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 23 appearances this season. Tuesday's loss ended a five-game win streak for Sorokin, who has been one of the league's strongest netminders over the past month. In his last 10 games, the 30-year-old goalie has six wins, a 2.01 GAA and a .927 save percentage. Despite the late collapse Tuesday, Sorokin remains a top option in fantasy between the pipes with the Islanders in the heart of the playoff race in the Metropolitan Division. His next chance to take the ice is Friday against the new-look Canucks.
