Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: First goalie off Monday
Vejmelka was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Kings.
Vejmelka has been sharp over his last two starts, going 2-0-0 with just one goal allowed on 60 shots in those contests. He'll have a favorable matchup against the Kings, who are scoring just 2.68 goals per game this year, which is the sixth-worst mark in the NHL.

Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: In goal Monday
Wolf will get the starting nod at home versus the Sabres on Monday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Wolf seems to have found his game of late, going 2-0-0 in his last three outings with one shutout and just two total goals allowed on 66 shots in that span. At his current pace, the 24-year-old netminder will struggle to reach the 30-win mark this season, though an extended hot streak could get him back on track to approach the 29 victories he racked up last year.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Starting against Toronto
Johansson will start Monday's road game against Toronto, Lightning radio announcer Dave Mishkin reports.
Johansson has gone 0-2-0 with five goals allowed on 49 shots over his last two starts, but he'll tend the twine for a third consecutive matchup after Andrei Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Monday. It's not yet clear when Vasilevskiy will be able to return, but Johansson should continue to see an uptick in playing time during his absence.

Thomas Milic G | WPG
Jets' Thomas Milic: Returned to minors
Milic was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday.
In a corresponding move, the Jets brought up Domenic DiVincentiis. This swap of goalies is likely as a way to get Milic back into the crease for the Moose. With Connor Hellebuyck (knee) still on the shelf, it's possible we see these two young netminders switched again in the future. For now, Milic heads back to AHL Manitoba, where he is sporting a 2.14 GAA and a 5-2-2 record in nine outings this year.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Moves to IR
Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.
Vasilevskiy will miss his third straight game when the Lightning visit Toronto on Monday, and a timeline for his return remains unclear. Still, he won't be eligible for Tuesday's road game against Montreal after landing on the IR list. He has gone 11-6-2 with one shutout, a 2.31 GAA and a .916 save percentage through 19 appearances this season. Jonas Johansson should see the bulk of the starts until Vasilevskiy is back in the fold.
-
Dennis Hildeby G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Between pipes Monday
Hildeby will start Monday's home game against the Lightning, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.
Hildeby has seen limited playing time over the past few weeks, but he's been effective when called upon, allowing just three goals on 81 shots despite going 1-0-1 over his last four appearances. He'll draw a second consecutive start Monday and will face off against the Lightning, who rank 10th in the NHL with 3.14 goals per game.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Extends winning streak
Oettinger stopped 27 of 29 shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over the Penguins.
Oetitnger has won each of his last six starts, and right now, it's hard to find a better goaltender in the NHL than the 26-year-old American. He has allowed two or fewer goals four times during that winning streak, a stretch in which he's posted a 1.82 GAA and an impressive .934 save percentage.
-
Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Tagged with shootout loss
Jarry stopped 21 of 23 shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Stars.
Jarry was beaten in the second and third periods, and Miro Heiskanen's tying goal with 1:49 left in the game gave Dallas enough momentum to win the game in the shootout. Jarry delivered a solid performance against one of the best teams in the Western Conference, continuing his strong play of late. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 4-0-1 with a 2.47 GAA and a .915 save percentage over his last six games.
-
Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Excellent in win Sunday
Tarasov stopped 20 of 21 shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Tarasov was beaten once in the second period, but that would be all the offense he'd allow against the Isles en route to his third win of the season. The 26-year-old endured a slow start to the season but has turned things around of late, posting a save percentage of .900 or higher in five of his previous six appearances.
-
David Rittich G | NYI
Islanders' David Rittich: Gives up three goals
Rittich stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Panthers. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Rittich was beaten once in each period, and since the Islanders didn't produce a lot of offense, he was deservedly tagged with the loss. Rittich has dropped his last two starts while allowing at least three goals each time. However, he still owns a decent 4-2-1 record dating back to the start of November, posting a 2.37 GAA and .900 save percentage in that stretch.
